  1. I'd even go as far as stating that almost NO manager in Roman's tenure has even been sacked wrongly. If you take a look at our performances and squad health before each of the sackings, the only one you can make a case for is Ancelotti, with the board letting him down big time in the 2010 summer and sacking him for not delivering the season after.
  2. Where do you reckon they would end up in the League ? Envoyé de mon SM-A510F en utilisant Tapatalk
  3. Not sure there is a similar thread over here, correct If I'm wrong. But amidst the doom and gloom reining this start of the season, let's take our minds off the first team for a while and discuss new things. What would be your best loanees XI currently ? And how do you think they would fair in the Premier League ?
  4. Jokes aside, we are so dependant on him. But it's fine, Barcelona depend on Messi, nothing weird.
  5. All aboard the meltdown train as I see... Situation is a bit worrying, not fully in my eyes yet. If we don't get 5 points from our first three league fixtures I'm joining you guys, let's just wait and see how we perform.
  6. Here are his exact words : "So the lawyer's argument, that Antonio as a coach has forced the player out by a text message in June is just nonsense". To me that is denying that Conte informed Costa of the decision via sms, I'm thinking of something along the lines of "Good luck for the next chapter of your career";.. What's the issue anyway ? One thing we're sure of is that everyone involved knew the decision on January, starting from here Conte didn't inform anyone of anything. So, as everyone was obviously suspecting, Costa and his staff trying to leverage some nonsense to ease his departure, there it is, for those who still doubted who initiated the whole issue.
  7. PR manager just confirmed that everyone involved knew the decision in January and that the allegations that Conte wrote a text message to Costa to.inform he is leaving are nonsense. Well... Envoyé de mon SM-A510F en utilisant Tapatalk
  8. It's been a while since we got a real proper press conference really.
  9. That's basically a 4-3-3, because Hazard will be close to the SS spot than the MO one. The real diamond is applied when you have 4 to 5 high quality central midfielders. You can do that with a squad of Essien, Mikel, Ballack, Deco and Lampard with people like Belletti as options, you can't do it with midfield options as thin as ours. One injury to Fabregas/Kanté/Bakayoko and it's pretty much doomsday. That's why I don't see us playing 4-4-2 diamond, 4-3-3 or even 3-5-2 for that matter ( when we have our full squad ), we don't have enough midfielders for that.
  10. That's United's 2018 training kit so I doubt it http://store.manutd.com/stores/manutd/en/product/manchester-united-training-jersey---grey/191666

  12. To be fair Gomez offered much more than Lukaku in terms of all-round game, but yeah you can probably compare both situations. Pure poacher's are also less present nowadays, the only two I can think of as much as big clubs are concerned are Lukaku and Kane, pretty much everyone else has a striker that offers much more.
  13. You're talking about Mario Gomez probably.
  14. You need to understand french and look at the whole video of what was happening with him. It's not a reason, agree, but you guys should also know that Blanc is far less respected than Conte. He could be sorted out, but we don't seem to be after him anyways.
  15. And what's the deal with his goal-scoring form at Juve ? He scored/assisted every 114 minutes in his first season at Juve, every 110 in his second season and EVERY SIXTY FUCKING FIVE YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT 65 Minutes in his last season with Real, earning them 13 additional points, granted, against weaker opposition, but he didn't play the clasicos, against Atleti or the likes of Sevilla, so we can't judge him on that. Add to that the fact that he has bossed CL in 2015, and has bags of technical ability and footbaling IQ ( which explains his outrageous number of assists in 2016 with Juve ), he is a potential world class striker. Just needs to be the main man somewhere, he is perfectly suited to the Premier League because he is strong as well, with Conte's management he will reach his peak. 90M is too much, but we don't have much choice, get over it..
  16. Can't believe people would want Lukaku for a higher price over this fella https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Vuus5ihfQE Brilliant, brilliant signing if we do get him.
  17. Definitely not holding a personal agenda like yours at least.

  20. Hardly. I'd personally place Azpi, Luiz, Alderweireld, and Bailly easily in front of him. Envoyé de mon SM-A510F en utilisant Tapatalk
  21. This guy is a brilliant, good enoigh to start in Atletico and would probably rotate with hazard Pedro and Willian here. This os 60-70M quality 2 years from now at the price of 40 now, please get him. For those who want to have an idea, might not tell all the story, he scored the third highest points in comunio ( different kind of fantasy liga but with more performance oriented scores rather than stats ) behind messi and suarez, he is so, so good. 22. Except from buying absolute world class players, you are always expecting improvement and tweaks from your recruitements. We are even expecting better hold up play and technical dexterity from Lukaku for instance. Best case scenario, we gain a brilliant Wing Back / Winder, worst case scenario, flops big time, loaned out or sold for the same amount if not higher the following year. Low risk high reward, go for it I'd say. Would have also tried Antonio but he's apparently bound to stay in West Ham.
