  1. If our finishing was a bit better under Rafa, we woulda def won the QPR, Southampton and Swansea quite easily. We were the better team in all of those matches, especially against QPR and Swansea. Yeah I know, woulda coulda shoulda, bottom line is we didn't but just trying to find some positives. He's def made some obvious improvements to the team though, specifically with Hazard, I think he's become a much better player under Rafa. His early season form was amazing but that was cause he was the new kid on the block but I think he's def a better overall player than early in the season.
  2. I don't see the big deal with Zaha. I think Victor Moses is a similar player and no worse than him.
  3. These southhampton fucks get two half chances against us and score both and can't score a goal with 4 sitters against Everton. Everton better drop some fucking points here or I'll be pissed.
  4. It's just so sad to see a guy just throw away his career like that. He needs some mentors or some shit, such an idiot.
  5. They're going to park the bus so we need goal scorers and people good in possession so no Ramires sorry. Cech Ivan - Cahill - JT - Cole Luiz - Lamps Hazard - Mata - Oscar Ba Drop Ramires cause he's not going to have any chances to break out and he's not good enough in possession. Drop Azpi for Ivan purely so we have another big man for set pieces, although we'll miss Azpi's crosses. There are a lot of goals in that team right there.
  6. Yeah that's the problem, there just aren't many options out there right now. It's much easier to dismiss options than think of one. I'd say bring Hiddink back if you want a half ass realistic one, other than that I can't think of any.
  7. best first touch in the league? is there any other attacking mid as good as him when it comes to scoring goals and giving assists? marco reus worth a shout but imo mata best in the world right now i dont consider ronaldo an attacking mid, and iniesta doesn't have the stats
  8. lol he's obv trolling, don't understand why you all get so pissed, just ignore him. especially when you write two paragraphs and he replies with "hes not good" lol that shit is jokes
  9. Josh is nowhere near KDB's level right now. At the moment, I'd say KDB is better than Oscar too. KDB will be fine, because he's a player who can still influence a match even when his team and players around him are playing bad which we have't seen from even our own attacking mids Hazard, Mata and Oscar. He's a strong character. I also don't think he'll be right for the double pivot. His passing is way too aggressive, his work rate and positioning is very good but he can't tackle and fouls way too much. Plus you loose so many of his qualities if you push him to the pivot. He should be a CM in a 4-3-3 or any one of the attacking mids in the 4-2-3-1, he's versatile and good enough to play any 3 of those positions. He'll be a squad player next season for sure. Very excited to see him, I love his play style, so effortless, he makes the game look easy.
  10. haha that's awesome, can we have some background though? what instigated this?
  11. We can't be hiring Moyes, Martinez and what not. We need a strong character, someone who demands respect. None these timid managers, no matter how talented they are. Managing a big club with big players and big expectations are completely different to what they have experienced in their careers. We need someone who is already used to that. AVB was a clear example of a talented coach with no experience at a big club like Chelsea and look how he failed. I still like AVB but we should have got him after a few years at Spurs rather than the other way around. Mourinho would be nice, but this last year he's had at Real is really worrying me. He's hurt his rep alot imo. I wish Ballack was an experienced coach already, I would love a guy like that. Just exudes confidence and respect.
  12. I think Ramires is actually a very good dribbler, def the best dribbler out of all our CMs. He had a shocking miss today but I don't even think his decision making is bad, I actually think more often than not it's very very good. But he has his flaws as people have pointed out horrible first touch and just not good enough to help control a game in the middle of the pitch.
  13. Ramires on the prowl. This is a sick photo. F*CKING BEAST!
  14. Absolute bargain. Beginning of the season we attacked strictly down the left but now majority of the build-up is on the right side with him, while Cole does he what does best is just making bombing runs. Cole can't touch him when it comes to the involvement in the build-up anymore.
  15. I don't think he plays like Drogba at all. He's a physical beast like Drogba, even more so but he plays more like the old Torres.
  16. Considering how bad Hazard was in the beginning of the season, I think he's the best defensively out of the 3 amigos now. Does put in some work, but still went missing once or twice in the second half. Mata is the weakest defensively. Oscar can do the job in the middle pressing, tackling and marking but on the wings I think he's completely lost. He's shockingly bad at positioning when in defense. To be fair though, not having a midfield that can control a game also hurts all our attacking mids. Today under pressure, Hazard and Mata were clueless in posession whenever they did win it back. But that's a tough position for them, you can't expect your attacking mids to help control a game in your own half, we missed JT and Mikel. But that first half, I downloaded it and watched it again, mmmm so sexy! I'd say our best half under Benitez, more of the same against Swansea.
  17. I really hope we turn this around for our sake and for Ivanovic's sake. He's been shockingly bad under Rafa ever since his first 2-3 games at CB. I would say he's been our worst player. (I don't consider Torres a football player).
  18. Other home games the pressure has been extreme because of the expectation that Chelsea has to win at home against a crap team. This match won't be the same, because it's genuinely a tough match. So the crowd will be too tense to complain or boo. I think we'll win this one (unless Torres starts, although tbf he scored in the reverse fixture). Please win this one Chelsea. It's been way too depressing as of late.
  19. The Malaga kit looks really nice in those pictures.
  20. If you watched him with Lille and now with Chelsea, the biggest difference is TEMPO! I think we should try Hazard + Moses close to each other cause they can link up to create a very direct attack similar to what he used to do at Lille and then have Mata on the right allowing Hazard to still link up with him. Mata - Hazard - Moses Ba The only problem with this though is that if our pivot can't get the ball to Hazard further up the pitch then he can't link up with others and run behind the back 4. Right now our attacking mids have to drop so deep that they are facing two lines of defence, you get by one and the second thwarts the forward momentum. The amount of times I've seen Mata drop so deep to start our attacks from the half way line disgusts me.
  21. Not sure about Bertrand but Ramires definitely has everyone pipped when it comes to speed. Hazard has the best acceleration though. Mata also has great acceleration, but his speed is nowhere near Hazard.
  22. Oh SHIT! Correct me if I'm wrong, only the second time under Rafa the 3 amigos start? First time with Ba? Better wrap this up early and rest a few for Arsenal.
  23. Bring back AVB? Wish we could buy managers and loan em out too, he seems to have learned from his mistakes at Chelsea.
