I thought we played pretty good, except Torres of course. And, I had predicted another horrid Ivanovic performance. I don't know what you guys have been watching, but even before this match, his last 2 were his WORST in a chelsea shirt. WORSE than anything Luiz has ever done and look what he does today. Ivan has been worse than Torres over the last 3 games, and it's not even close imo, he's been that bad. But at least Ivan can turn it around, hopefully soon, but Torres can fuck off! We need to buy another striker. Having 2 creates competition, but you can't call it a competition for Ba when Torres is the other choice lol. It's more like Ba vs Benitez than Ba vs Torres for starts.

I think we've been very good. Apart from the ridiculous mistake from Ivanovic. I'm sorry, people talk about Luiz playing stupid passes and making mistakes in defence but Ivanovic has been at least 10 times worse than Luiz these past 3 games. He's been shockingly bad. We need JT back soon if Luiz is going to stay in midfield. I say take off Bran for Lamps.

Well I saw that you had played either a 4-4-2 or a 3-5-2, but I didn't think you'd gamble on a 3-5-2 with only 3 defenders since I had played 4-4-2 this season and also thought you'd want at least 5 in the mid to overpower my 4, so 4-5-1 was the only option. And of course, based on that I played a 3-5-2 to match your 1 forward, dominate your 5 in the mid with mine and then still have 2 forwards attacking. Lack of striker depth cost me, and of course you got your defensive tactics spot on as well.

Yeah that makes sense, I'm just trying to find an excuse for loosing at home.

Damn, I lost. I need to buy a striker. I only have 2 and ended up playing both, 1 got injured and the assistant replaced him with a defender :S not even a midfielder. Is there a way to not let this happen? Surely the game should sub on a midfielder instead of a defender if my striker gets injured.

I want to give Cahill - Terry a try. Maybe it's just me but I think Ivanovic has been shockingly bad last 2 games. Especially against QPR, I thought that was his worst game in a Chelsea shirt. Cahill hasn't been anything amazing either but he's def not been as bad as Ivan imo.

Chalobah for sure. He'll be in the squad next season or at Prem club at worst. McEahran maybe. He's doing good on loan but I'm worried he'd be nothing more than a mid-table EPL player. I think he needs 1 or even 2 years on loan in the EPL before he makes it at Chelsea. Kalas & PVA both have a good chance as early as next year. Especially PVA if Ashley leaves although I think Kalas is the better prospect. Kalas can do a good job at RB and CB. Piazon has a bright future too, but he def needs to bulk up more. Not sure about him making it tbh. We have a lot of young talent already in his position. Feruz has shown scary potential but he still has a long road in front of him. He reminds of Defoe, def not Rooney, he's nowhere near as complete of a player. Some others that have impressed me are Billy Clifford, Ake, Blackman, Charly Musonda & Boga. Too early to predict these guys imo. But I think Blackman will make it, just cause he'll take up a homegrown spot and he's not that bad either.

Yeah, his through balls are excellent. There's a lot of potential there and he adds a whole different dynamic to the attacking 3, something I wish Hazard would do more of, but Hazard isn't built like this monster.

If we can get a proper playmaking CM then maybe we can switch back to the 4-3-3 where everyone in our midfield then will be in their best positions. I think the reason we have to play the 4-2-3-1 is so we can have one playmaker centrally since our midfield doesn't have one yet.

Luiz can replace Ramires in the pivot but not Mikel. We still need a proper holding mid, there will be much tougher opposition that he'll have to contend with.

Lampard? Lampard was the worst player on the pitch, probably in the whole stadium. I don't think I've seen a worse Lampard performance in my lifetime. Shocking! What was even more shocking was how that idiot Benitez didn't sub him off, don't know what he was watching.

Hazard and Luiz were the best players, and have been for the past couple of weeks. If anything Hazard is regaining his early season form.

Def need to get 3 pts here. With us leaving for Japan, we can fall further down the table. Sure we'll have less GP but still just being that low on the table has a mental impact.

Had loads of chances but couldn't make any count. Very unlucky, felt we def deserved something from this game. I blame both goals on our double pivot. On the first one, no one picks up Morrison, Luiz can't do much about a cross like that, almost impossible to defend. 2nd goal all came cause West Brom were able to break cause both Mikel and Romeu went so far forward to press like idiots and with a simple pass forward WBA turned like a 3 on 6 into a 6 on 4. If the pivot wants to press, fair enough but the whole team has to press as well, you can't have your backline sit so deep and then also employ heavy pressing, stupid shit which shouldn't be happening.

Sturridge is very good behind the striker, almost like a second striker. He should play there more, because the striker will employ the CBs which will leave Sturridge 1 on 1 and if he's 1 on 1 then he can get a shot on goal almost 100% of the time.
