  1. HOLY SHIT! BAKER! Goal line block of the season!!!
  2. Feruz with another great chance, he's been missing chances he used to finish in his sleep.
  3. Btw Clive Walker irritates me to hell, all he does is criticize the team. I mean they are still young, give em a break. Even if you want to be critical please be within reason. Every play he finds something wrong.
  4. Yeah, if he wants to come here, he'll have to take a pay cut. No way does he deserve to be our highest paid player. I would love him here but 250k/week is fkin stupid money.
  5. I don't buy it. No way he can come back that fast from a hamstring injury. Incredibly risky and downright stupid to play him imo, 99% chance he makes it worse if he plays on it.
  6. Actually, he was trying to hit the post and then the defender and then the post and then the defender again and then go in, but he said he couldn't be bothered so he just scored the easy way.
  7. You can't blame the board for Sturridge's departure. If anything the board probably deserve some praise. It's the managers that never rated him and gave him a chance. The board actually did an exceptional job getting 12M for a guy with only 6 months left on his contract because there was no way he was going to sign an extension if we hadn't sold him and he would have left for free!
  8. No he's def not a pivot player, he'll never play there. I think he's best on the wings, then the number 10 and then the attacking CM in a 4-3-3. In a 4-2-3-1 he should only ever be part of the attacking 3.
  9. I think he should go on loan again. He's improved but he's still got ways to go to be Chelsea quality. Here, he'll only be an impact sub, while he'll surely be excellent as an impact sub and will def help us, however, I don't think that's the ideal scenario for his development.
  10. Justice was served, that Leicster scum dove like a dying swan for that pen. Btw I hate that ref. But what a double save by Almunia and unreal counter for the winning goal just wow.
  11. No way Hazard will be able to come back for this one. The only negative from today with both JT and Hazard getting injured, really sad.
  12. Mourinho, that name alone will have an effect similar to that of Drogba in his last season. Just seeing him there gives you hope. The nervousness that enters our play won't be there anymore and the fighting spirit will be further enhanced. I think a guy like Oscar will gain the most on a personal level whereas Hazard would probably benefit the most on the field.
  13. I wouldn't mind him or Falcao. Whoever wie get, as long as the manager is good will work. Cavani will link-up better with the amigos whereas Falcao will play off the last man and give the amigos more room to work amongst themselves. Both will be success in their own way. However, considering we have Lukaku who plays similar to Falcao, yeah he can play back to the goal like Cavani and link up with the amigos but that's probably the weakest part of his game so maybe Cavani or Lewa are the better complement to Lukaku than Falcao would be.
  14. How reliable is that guy? Cause if he is, then it's obv us, which I doubt. There def would have been rumours if it was that close to a done deal.
  15. didn't know they trained givng blowjobs to managers
  16. I've noticed that you do that almost every season. Of course I don't have insight into your team but have you been to sell these youngsters at huge profit due to all the experience they are able to amass in the PL? I've wanted to do this too but always end up abandoning it due to fear of being relegated.
  17. It's a good shout that Jose will be with us for the long haul now. I don't see why not. He's done the rounds in all the top leagues and won everything he can with each team: Spain - hasn't won everything with Real but he's not staying or ever going back there and the only other option in Spain is Barca and that's never happening either Italy - Serie A just isn't that attractive anymore, unless something dramatic happens maybe he goes back to Inter but I don't see that happening anytime soon, maybe 10 years from now if Serie A can get back to the powerhouse it used to be France - Ligue 1 isn't a top league, not enough in France for Mou to be interested in, he needs a big pond and France is never getting that big. England - No-brainer he will like to spend the majority of his career here now. Chelsea's problem has been Mourinho even after he left, all that came after were compared to him (or rather his success). None achieved it, so they got fired and none have the notoriety of a Mou (only Pep and Fergie do) where the owner will be willing to sit through a slump while maintaining trust in the manager that it'll eventually turn around. Roman never had that trust in anyone, he gave them some leeway, some more than others but if they weren't able to turn it around soon they got the boot. I think Roman has learnt the lesson and risking that patience with Mou is easier because there will never be better or even close to the same level of manager around. I now see Roman showing trust in Mou and Mou staying here for the long haul. The only way he leaves now will be for other reasons than purely football, reasons like at Madrid with him completely loosing the dressing room which I don't see it happening at Chelsea because our squad is too young and they will be matured and nurtured by Mou himself so I don't see anyone ever rivaling Mou. The only ones that could, will be gone this summer or by the next. I think Roman has been trying for a while to be patient with managers and hire one for the long term. This was evident with the AVB signing, and I think AVB would have stuck around till now if he hadn't lost the dressing room like he did. Because if it was only about the results, Roman would have parted ways with AVB sooner. RDM appointment seemed like it was out of desperation, no other mangers around that could have made the choice easy enough to not offer a CL winning manager an extension. And, I was sad when RDM leaving but I never rated him much and I thought letting him go was a good decision just not happy with who was hired to take his place, again this seemed desperate as there were no other options available. And I am not a fan of Rafa, but credit where it's due the dude has balls to accept the job. That said, even if we make top 4 and win Europa I still don't think he would have performed that well, that won't be enough for me to forget the blunders he has made earlier in the season. Anyways, got a little off topic now. But yeah, Mou is here for the long haul now imo. If not the coming season, then the season after I see us winning back the title.
  18. Who gives a shit if it's Marin or yossi. Neither are going to be able to do jack shit. I actually rate Yossi higher than marin, at least he has some PL experience and is not a dude my 10 year old cousin could beat up.
  19. Had a poor game but move him to CB? How would he be better there? Gotta show more patience folks, he's def not a future CB.
  20. Played like a shitty Mikel tonight, except had some nice passes but also lost as many balls as Mikel would loose in 3-4 games.
  21. Big match and on TV, http://www.firstrow1.eu/watch/185676/6/watch-leicester-city-vs-watford-fc.html
  22. They won't go crap, but they def won't dominate like they did this year, unless they go crazy in the transfer market and significantly improve their squad. They'll still be challenging for the title, challenging not outright winning it anymore. I think top 3 will be very close from here on out. Chelsea - get Mou back, improve squad depth and we're title challengers City - just under-performed all year, get a new manager and title challengers United - spend a lot in the transfer market and title challengers If Mancini sticks around I can see us winning the title, but if City get a good manager too I think their squad is too good to not win another title. Exciting season coming up.
  23. What's with these Brazilians and tackling all of a sudden? Ramires, Oscar and even Piazon - all world class tacklers. Oscar wins balls out of nowhere, 99% of his tackles are won when you're like no way he gets that. It's all confidence and aggression of going for balls that others won't, in turn the attacker doesn't expect it either. Very commendable to be that aggressive considering it's still his first season.
