It's sad really when sometimes these so called pundits just spew absolute dog-shit just for the sake of it. Shocking sometimes. The way they break down some things is laughable. You can criticize and praise every single touch now considering what they call "analysis".
-
Except his also gets world class mileage, really nothing else like it elsewhere.
-
Kalas isn't ready for Chelsea yet. He's a defender no need to rush him. He himself said that he rather go on an EPL loan before he returns to Chelsea, smart move imo.
-
I really don't understand starting Luiz. Rami fine he's a beast and can probably play 90 everyday but Luiz has started what like 10 games in a row now?
-
Good thread, should do one for EPL too. I think Cesar is def best value for money, not only did we get a first team player for so cheap it was a fullback no less. Considering how rare quality fullbacks are to come across this is one of the best transfers not just this year but for a while I'd argue. Plus only 23? Def one of the best transfers we've had in Abramovich era. I think all the votes are pretty straight-forward except who would still be here in 5 years. Oscar, Hazard and Cesar are easy to stay for a long time. Marin and Ba no chance, Marin because he isn't good enough. I can Ba staying till the end of his contract but to stay 5 years means a renewal which won't happen. Moses is the tricky one here, considering he's young he can easily get a renewal and still have good resale value after 5 years. Plus he can do a job and has good potential, don't see why he can't carve out a decent career here similar to Kalou as a good squad player. But I don't he'll ever improve enough to be first choice player at Chelsea I can easily see him being moved to finance a move for a better player.
-
He's already on the decline, has had a horrid season. That said, he'd still be an upgrade over everyone else we have but the price has to be rather inexpensive for this to make sense because he'd surely warrant the most wages of anyone else we can get for the pivot.
-
He played like a Ramires who could pass, was amazing against us. Great buy imo, we could have used a player like him too, not sure why others weren't in for him, must be something the matter with him because for some reason he doesn't get games for Brazil either.
-
Yeah, this is exactly what I said a few pages back:
-
Very harsh to say he failed with Real. Domestically, I don't think any other manager could have done any better considering how strong the current Barca team. In Europe though, it has been disappointing, not a failure though. CL is so hard to win and to say if one doesn't win it over a span of just 3 years is a failure is naive.
-
What you're forgetting is that our transfers from previous years are also still showing up. Torres, Hazard and what not are still being amortised and that's probably 20-25M on it's own too. And you have to help me understand how we can go 45M in the red and get Roman to save us? FFP is all about revenues and expenses, Roman can inject equity and take off debt but how will be affect the revenues and expenses?
-
We can't afford 100-120M this summer, no way.
-
Seriously, seems where is Jose going is the biggest news story now. Everyone already forgot about Dortmund reaching the final and Real choking.
-
Now this almost seems like he's trying to force an interview for the Chelsea job, tells me Chelsea hasn't shown any interest in him. If we had then in his mind it would have been a done deal and he would have just given the same "Wait till summer."
-
This is exactly what Jose always wants, one interview and thousands of people busting a nut over him. He's done this a million times. Nothing wrong with it, but y'all need to calm down.
-
Ramos played RB first leg not CB. Ramos played like a dirty cunt today but it seemed to work, Lewa choked 3-4 clear chances.
-
Lol at dumass hipsters who hate on Modric, dude has bossed it tonight.
-
Really looks like Ozil couldn't handle the pressure at all. Not even able to do the simple things.
-
Ooohh what a chance Lewandowski. Yuck, I was expecting goals galore this game, everyone is choking hard.
-
Torres runs away from the ball so he doesn't have to embarrass himself by missing easy chances while Higuain just runs offside. Both very effective.
-
Webb has the right attitude as a ref too bad he's blind.
-
Ramos has thrown like 4 elbows already on Lewandowski's head. Webb missed all of em.
-
Real is done now imo, they had the early chances and needed that early goal. Dortmund are only going to get better as the game went on and Real will get desperate now.
-
Real choking hard. Shoulda easily had 3 goals so far, clear cut chances not even half chances.
-
Luiz is such a good footballer that you can probably give him a run out in any position and he'll still end up doing good things, but he'll also do bad things. The only reason he's getting praise right now is that his good and bad things are different (not necessarily better) than the alternatives. If we're in a bind and have no one to field in the midfield, by all means give Luiz a run out but to argue that he should be converted to a DM doesn't make sense to me. We should rather just get through this season as best as we can and sign players that can actually play in the pivot, if 4-2-3-1 is the future (I want 4-3-3). At the moment, I'd say we don't have a single player good enough to be first choice pivot player for a team looking to win UCL, EPL. We have players who can do a job depending on the type of game and opponent but not one player who I'd be comfortable being considered first choice regardless of opposition.
-
Just read he's played 88 games in the last 51 weeks (just less than a year). Not a single week in that span that he hasn't played. So no rest for a full year playing once and often twice a week. I'm surprised he hasn't been worse now.
