Top speed? Driblle Speed? or Acceleration? Top speed is def. Walcott, the guy from Aston Villa and Walker...... You can make a case for Ryo from Arsenal, Valencia and Lennon. I think Walcott is fastest in the league. Lennon, Agbonlahor and Willian are too close to call imo. And Miyachi doesn't even play, so he's not in the conversation yet.
-
Think he's easily the fastest player in the squad. Gotta be top 3 in the league too. With and without the ball.
-
I reckon we're getting Matic, otherwise I don't see why this would fall through. We would have been prepared to pay a premium if we really wanted him in January.
-
Will he really be counted as homegrown? If so then we'd be stupid not to do it.
-
United are desperate for some new blood, they need players. Let's offer up Moses + Marin + Essien + Torres + Eto'o for Rooney.
-
Can anyone tell me why Jose played Ramires on the RW? Pathetic. I know we won and all but why is he played on the wing in a 4-2-3-1? Someone better ask him this because it was fuckin pathetic. I'm happy for the win, but I have to know wtf he was thinking. Does he know we have top class wingers on the bench? Top class ones who haven't been getting playing time either.

Source? Can't be posting things like this without a source.

Still too early to count anyone out imo. Arsenal and Liverpool might not be destroying the top top teams but they've both made mince meat of the rest of the table, which we've had problems with.

Lukaku is a beast no doubt. But what's worrying me is he isn't improving on his weakest areas. I still see that inconsistent first touch, poor back to the goal play, poor aerial dominance (for his size). He's still young and will improve for sure, but maybe it's time to accept that some parts of his game won't improve too much. I think if he's OK with it, then he should be our 2nd choice striker and we should buy one world class one next year as well.
He'll be the perfect sub off the bench and will still get other games where we just rotate our strikers.
After the world cup hopefully regular playing time isn't his biggest priority but rather it's trying to make it at Chelsea.

For me, "being smart when it comes to shielding the ball" is as unsporting as diving is, but unfortunately both things are part of the game now. When I labelled Hazard a diver, I don't mean like Ashley Young, I mean he goes down under minimal contact quite frequently, which is what Ossie did yesterday. Which is why I'm not making a big deal of it. Really? Wow. You think what Hazard does by being clever with the ball and shielding it is unsporting? Makes no sense to me sorry. Diving though is cheating straight up. What Oscar did isn't even your run of the mill dive, he did it to get a player sent off which imo is the worst form of cheating. Diving to get a pen is bad enough but to get someone sent off and suspended is the absolute worst form of cheating. Like Rmpr said though, he'll learn from this for sure.
-
Worst player on Chelsea imo. LB is def a worry now. Azpi is first choice for sure and I don't see Cole even coming close to regaining it.
-
A beast simply a beast. Willian and Hazard are key as well but they can go missing, especially Hazard but Oscar is Chelsea 's heart now. No matter the circumstances, he's always involved and fighting. Just a beast.

That said though, that attempt to cheat Southampton was pathetic. Can't be doing that. A little dive once in a while is ok cause sometimes you have to to even get a call but to dive just the get someone sent off is the straight up cheating in my book. Oscar is better than that.

(4-1-2-1-2) De Gea Coleman - Mertesacker - Terry - Shaw Fernandinho Ramsey - Yaya Toure Rooney Suarez - Aguero Subs: Howard, Lovren, Zabaletta, Ramires, Hazard, Oscar, Sturridge

This guy didn't bother playing for the coach he calls his father, a coach that gave him chance after chance and stuck by him all the way. Considering the amount of dogfights there are in the PL can you really trust a guy like Mario? His talent can't be questioned and when he's on he's a great great player, but can you trust him? Can you rely on him? Do you really want a guy like him around a very young team? What kind of influence is he going to be on others around him? Just too risky imo, a guy who single handedly can destroy team chemistry is way too big of a risk regardless of the potential reward imo.

Yeah they were great against City. Arsenal put 3 past City too and could have scored more but they couldn't get a shot on target against us. City plays all out attack, their sole aim is to outscore you, especially at home. Now I'm not marginalizing Liverpool's performance but there is no way Jose will let Liverpool play like that against us. Gameplan wise, we should probably play similar to how we played Arsenal, except this time I'd play a little higher and with Luiz instead of Cahill. Against Arsenal their AMs were dangerous but with Liverpool it's Suarez dropping deep and linking up which is the real danger so we'll want a CB to stay tight to him and follow him every time he drops to receive the ball and not let him turn. Luiz is the most suited for this kind of job and I'm guessing Mikel will also start so he can fill in if Luiz rushes forward. I think we can definitely win this match, I expect us to win this, especially since we're at home but we have to take our chances when we get them because it's all well and good to have the perfect gameplan but the kind of form Suarez is on he can score a goal out of absolutely nothing so we'll have to score goals if we want to win. I'd be scared of Suarez, who wouldn't but not Liverpool they can def be had, I'd say the same about City too. On our day we can beat both, Jose is def capable or devising the right gameplan and the players are listening to him so they are perfectly capable to execute these gameplans.
-
City and Liverpool just going all out attack. Could turn into another City - Arsenal scoreline for either team. Still think we can do good against both these teams. Play similar to how we played Arsenal. 4-3-3 pack the midfield and play on the counter, best way to get at both these teams. How shocking was that offside decision against Sterling though, one of the worst I've ever seen.
-
Criticize the finishing and the strikers, but if you're crying about the performance then fuck off. We fucking DOMINATED that game but like always no end product to put an exclamation on that domination. Gotta sort it out, it's getting beyond ridiculous now.

Great video. Luiz was awesome. JT amazing and can't believe he got a small interview with Roman too. Amazing. Love Chelsea!! Great kid too, Oran.

I can understand people wanting to go for the win against Arsenal, but let's be honest we haven't been in form and players haven't really been playing that confident either. A loss at Arsenal and it well and truly would have caused massive panic attacks everywhere. That said, we have to win next two home games against Swansea and Liverpool.
-
I would have been happy with a point before the match. Our recent results, low confidence I was fearing the worst and not only is the result a good one, the performance was good. Btw, the final action was missing on the majority of our attacks but a couple counters, especially one with Willian and Hazard was one of the fastest and most amazing counters I have ever seen in my life. If that somehow would have resulted in a goal, it would have been one of the greatest ever Chelsea goals. Willian took the ball, sprinted by like 2 Arsenal players, passed to Hazard, and without hesitation he dribbled right into like 3 more and still kept the ball and passed it off to someone else and another pass or two and it got misplaced, but lord have mercy blood rushed into my penis during that attack. Willian and Hazard is the way to go. If we can improve the midfield so we dont have to resort to a 4-3-3 then Hazard, Willian, Schurrle in a 4-2-3-1 for the big games is a counter-attacking MONSTER!!
-
Love you man!!! YES GOT ME PUMPED TOO!!!
-
I have no doubt we'll split possession with them at most 60/40. Arsenal link up quickly. It's his slowness (combined with Terry's) that worries me the most. I'm sure we'll be playing pretty deep. It shouldn't expose our CBs too much. At least that's what the game plan looks like.
-
With us playing on the counter and with Mikel in front of them, he shouldn't have to be in too many 1 on 1 situations. This kind of game is a little more suited to Cahill imo.
-
If it's 4-3-3 then I think it's a good lineup. Hazard and Willian on the wings and both can get at their opposing fullbacks. And Lamps will be able to get forward and do what he does best, which is score goals. This is how Lamps should be used, because the way the team has been playing, he's the only one I'd always trust to score a goal if given the chances. Better be a 4-3-3

Have you seen Eto´o there ?Yeah I do. He's on the bench.
