I think we overall played one shite team too many. We should have been playing a good European side in this game.

If Shaun was just waltzing on the pitch when he got his chances without a care in the world, I would be inclined to agree with you, but he's not, he's putting the effort in, which makes me think that money is not his only motivation for staying here. It probably is one motivation, but not the only. And money is a motivation to most people, probably you too, so you can't really criticise him for that.

I guess if Newcastle feel Barton offers them enough to justify keeping him over his antics that is what you'll do. If you're valuable enough to a company, they might think twice about turfing you out after a fight. Chances are though if you're getting into a fight, you're not very valuable to them, but I guess the world of footballers is a bit different. Cuckooland.
