  1. He said he wants to score more and he showed that yesterday, he was far more direct and took shots he normally doesn't. Hope he stays aggressive because with his shooting ability he should be hitting 10-15 goals.
  2. I think Hazard has reached the stage for many people where even playing well isn't seen as good enough any more. He has to be on fire for entire games otherwise he will be criticised for not doing enough. Nobody else in the team seems to get that kind of scrutiny by the way; other players will be assessed for their general performance but Hazard's game will be broken down minute by minute: "Well he was quiet from 3-9, picked it up for 5 minutes but then slowed down again. WHY? Had a good period from 21.12 to 27.32 but then inexplicably went missing for another SIX MINUTES! Where the hell did he go?! Bottler."
  3. Such as? Salah is a squad player, he'll get minutes once we start playing more than game a week.
  4. And I bet he doesn't use two cards at the cash machine like most idiots I always seem to queue behind these days.
  5. See, that was my fear. I thought any team that shows ambition against Matic-Fabregas pivot would get a lot of joy. Of course, I just don't think we can continue to be that exposed regularly.
  6. Trust me, I do see it that way; I'm aware of Oscar's role in the set-up but he is still more of an auxiliary midfielder, rather than a bonafide CM like Matic and Fabregas are in the set-up. Our back 4 was there for the taking on several occasions today with no protection, that won't happen for much longer.
  7. It's seemingly everybody's dream partnership so you won't hear much criticism but they were exposed today. Mourinho's not dumb, that won't be the first choice midfield for much longer. Get ready for some Ramires, guys.
  8. Yup, it's a damn shame we don't have a quality LB in the squad...
  9. Azpilicueta completely kills any hope of developing something from the left, his first thought is how can I play a simple ball back to Terry/Courtois.
  10. Tony Gale why do we always seem to get this clown?
  11. The stumbling block for many people seems to be the term ' #10 ' and the connotation. Oscar's role on Monday night wasn't that of a traditional #10 yet that hasn't stopped many criticising him for not playing like one. The midfield on Monday was far more of a 4-3-3 than a 4-2-3-1 in my opinion. Love him or hate him - and I'll be honest, I've had to drastically re-evaluate my own opinion of Oscar's ability/potential as his form plummeted last season - but he had a solid game on Monday night.
  12. That's the thing, his potential was always overrated.
  13. So glad someone made a gif of that moment! Costa paying homage I'm becoming a bigger Costa fanboy every day
  14. Called up by Dunga for Brazil:
  15. I have nothing against Mata btw and wish him well (except against us obviously).
  16. He breaks the defensive lines so easily and creates room for others to exploit.
  17. This guy is SO MUCH BETTER than I thought he was.
