True. I watched a documentary on the ACoN a few years ago when they followed Essien and we have a lot of support in Africa because of Essien, Drogba etc. I would love that to continue.

I do but I'm a little uncomfortable that some seem to think African players are just big and powerful with no skill.

Drogba is 100000x more skillful than Torres.

I think from around Feb 2009 up until November 2010 he was absolutely world class. He is one of those players that is the team is performing well he is also does well and if the team is poor so is he. He isn't like Drogba who can still do something if everybody else around him is rubbish.

That is incredibly harsh. Yes he disappeared during our bad moment but then almost the whole squad went off the boil as well. The truth is Malouda isn't a great player but he is very capable of being useful to this side as a squad player. The problem is he is a guaranteed starter because our attacking options are just so poor, so even when he is off form he still plays.

Statistically he was impressive. But unfortunately football isn't played in numbers. Who in their right mind, having watched him during the winter months, would choose him as player of the season? He isn't even close. Player of the season doesn't go missing for 4 months.

Roman only wants what is best for our club and that clearly wasn't Ancelotti.

If I underperform to the level Ancelotti did this season I EXPECT TO BE FIRED FROM WORK. And trust me, I wouldn't be sent packing with an extra £6m for doing a bad job. He was sacked so he could say goodbye to the whole squad before they all flew off on holiday. I thought that was a bit classy myself.

I have to admit I'm finding it really hard to feel sorry for a man who has made £18m for just two seasons work. He is a nice man and the club should have waited a few days before letting him go but that's life. This season has been an abolsute disaster and he has been responsible for a large part of that.

Lampard is 33. He needs to have his playing time reduced SIGNIFICANTLY.

Mourinho was a volatile character and was always going to leave. Scolari was an absolute disaster and deserved to be sacked. Ancelotti is a nice man but he simply wasn't good enough and this season has demonstrated that.

Really? We've had Mourinho, Scolari, Ancelotti and Hiddink manage the club. We've had some people like Lippi state they would want to manage us. That reads like a who's who of managers. You're going a little over the top.

My advice; work on things in training have a plan A, B, C and D demand the best and motivate your players drop Lampard if he's playing rubbish use players like Sturridge and McEachran because they are good enough sell Kalou BUY SOME WINGERS that's about it.

What manager WOULDN'T want this job? Work with some of the best players in the world and guaranteed millions if you fail to be any good at your job. It's a no-brainer! It isn't the perfect job but it is an excellent job regardless.The pros simply outweigh the cons.

Gervinho is very good, he should have started in the world cup ahead of Kalouless but since he plays for a lesser club some idiots think he isn't a better player. Gervinho is 10x the player Kalou is.
