The only reason why AVB was sacked is that it was almost impossible to achieve a top 4 spot with him as our coach , there was a fight in place between him and most of the players ,so Roman had to pull the trigger because one of both sides had to be replaced and you can't replace players in March. I was one of those who called our board stupid and insane to sack AVB but i can see where they are coming from , now looking at the bigger image i can see that they had no other options if we would like to achieve a CL spot , they didn't sack AVB because they thought he is not good enough but it's the other way around , the players are too bad that they can't play for him . My point is they could have simply waited till the summer and replaced those under-qualified overpaid players with new ones and kept AVB the very good and promising tactician but them sacking AVB speaks volume about how a CL spot is vital for us Financially and to keep out position as one of the top clubs in the world attracting best players , prospects and employees.

Lucas and Henderson are both better than Mikel IMO.

Whenever puts a half-decent performance some overpraise him as if he played like Pirlo / Alonso !! Mikel isn't good enough for a team that is supposed to challenge for EPl and UCL , he should be shown the door in the summer ... and his age shouldn't be a factor because he has showed no signs of development for 5 years . we should sell him now while he is worth something.

Mikel ?! Kalou ?! a combo of Lampard & Miereles ?! NO LUIZ , MATA OR STURRIDGE !!!!!!!!1 May be they are being rested for the napoli game but i have lost any interest i had in this game after knowing the line-ups.

Call me pessimistic whatever , but if i am to put my money on one thing it's that chelsea will not get a top 4 finish , we will probably struggle against stoke , astonvilla and wigan , also there isn't any reason to think we can get anything out of the City , Spurs and Arsenal games. what's done is done , i hope AVB stays to get those fuckin players out of here , and by the time he realizes we have no top 4 chances , i hope he fuckin put Lampard , Malouda , Drogba , Bosingwa , Kalou , Mikel , etc. to the reserves team till the end of this season before kicking them out , a mix between our best reserves and Mata , Sturridge , Luiz , Iva , Ramires will have more chances of winning games than those old , useless , greedy players. And next year Roman will have to get his wallet out of his pocket , if he is scared off by the FFP rule and that it might not allow us to get in the UCL , then without at least 120 mil. next year we have no hope of securing a top 4 finish .

Always found him overrated , he is a very good player but with his price we can afford much better options (Hazard , Lucas , Di Maria) , can't see this going through , i think AVB used Hulk to refer to what is missing and what the type of player he is looking for is .

Never impressed me , and don't expect him to have any impact on the team now or in the future . When he is used he will flop , his footballing skilld aren't good enough and this is not the belgian league where if you 're big enough you can bully defenders away to score goals .

Cavani as many have mentioned is an all-round better option , but Falcao's aerial ability and finishing are fascinating !! give him some decent crosses each game and goals are 95% garaunteed. So for me it depends on what AVB is looking for .. an out and out striker or a poacher .

ٍRegardless the way you have put that down but some of those ideas look superb !! , Yes , i would like to see all of Bosingwa , Cole , Ferrera , Malouda , Kalou ,Mikel , Drogba , Meireles and 1 of Essien or Lampard out of chelsea FC and i am looking forward to the introduction of Swift , Josh , Paizon and youth players , in fact i am still excited about Kakuta with all of his dissappointements but he still has a better chance to become a world-class player than Torres to be a decent forward . And about the additions and the money , i am very glad that we have Abrahimovic to back us up but if we sell those big old useless players and replace with younger players , we will decrease our wage bill to at least its half while having a much better team , so in the long run not very costy. But i know such a plan will have to take place gradually , and won't happen in 1 or 2 seasons and hopefully that is the 3 years project AVB is always talking about , i know most will think that this season shouldn't be counted as part of a transitional period because of no youth integration but in fact this season is one the most important in any transition period as it will hopefully be remembered as the season when the likes of Anelka , Malouda , Kalou , Bosingwa , Ferrera and such bought their tickets out of the club.

Blame the manager , Blame the defense or Blame the forwards all you want but today we lost the game in midfield , Ramires and Miereles are the poorest starting midfield in any semi-big club , they costed us possesion in some criritical situations , Miereles was at fault for 1st goal , they didn't support their defense or protect the back four , they didn't add anything offensively , kept us always under-pressure and they just keep running like headless chicken. I am sure the scene of Ramires running past players is great to watch but we can't keep starting a midfielder just because who has pace , which is surprisengly not essential for midfielders , his possessioning is abysmal and his tactically a liability , his passing was as usual woeful . The major problem is unfortunately they are the better than lamps , Mikel and may be Romeu and Essien , Hopefully we are gonna change the all 3 starting midfielders next year with the exception of may be Romeu or Ramires. Lose the midfield battle and you will lose games , that is why we keep losing and AVB can do nothing about it , all six of our midfielders can't fuckin pass the ball which is the basic skill of any midfielder not to speak about vision and creativity.

i know 4-2-3-1 seems like a better option , but if there is one game where we should opt for the 4-3-3 then it's the napoli game , as we need to defend deep and hurt them on the counter using drogba's power and the pace of Ramires and Sturridge. We can't lose this game , because as many said if we try to attack Napoli we will get hurt on the counter and we need to do the exact opposite of that , but if we lose we will have no other choice but to attack in the 2nd leg and it will be just like Inter 2 years ago. We should have only one objective for the game avoid defeat , and if possible score an away goal.

180 crucial minutes of football will decide a lot of things about the future of this football club , 2 football games will take place between us and the very worrying Napoli . A lot is said about AVB and his future in this club , and if he is to part ways with chelsea then those 2 games will probably play a big part in his departure. We are fighting a desprate battle for the 4th place in the league , but as great as winning this counter against Napoli will be but it will kinda distract us from the league , and it's not like we have more than 5% chance to win the champions league , so losing this counter will be a blessing in disguise , right ?! well , who knows ! In fact we might have many positives from such a loss like more attention to our league battle , adding more prove to abrahimovic that we need some new players and to be more accurate a new squad with some old players , if AVB is not sacked after such a loss it will be a confirmation from Roman that AVB will be here next year and that way the players will have to make peace with that and try to be part of his project. But screw all that , i want to win this game ... i know we have a very small chance of winning the UCL but this might be a huge needed morale boast to the team and who knows we might face zenit or Benfica in the next round and bang!! we are in semi-finals . i know it might be a bit of a distraction but i think being in form but distarcted and may be sometimes exshauted is more important than being shit without any distractions . the only thing that worries me is luck playing a big role and us hitting some kind of form or reaching the UCL final and some players doesn't get the boot they deserve by the end of the season and AVB thinking evolution not revolution again !! there is a lot of advantages and disadvantages to both winning and losing , Your thoughts ??

Our level has been gradually dropping since the start of Mourinho's last season , noticably after getting rid of Robben , Duff and Joe Cole , Every manager comes in sparks us into life , a maximum of 5 months later Bang !! we are worse than ever , we have seen this scenario numourus times that we should know better by now. This squad is one of the worst a top club posses , our only players who should start for top-class teams like Real , City , United , Barca are Luiz , Mata , and may be terry and Cech !! only 4 players in the whole squad are top team starting 11 material !! you blame the manager because it's easier , you sit infront of your screen and think you got it all figured out , you think about tactics and substitutions , what the manager should do , right ?! What about thinking what those useless players should do , i am not saying i didn't expect better from the man but he is certainly not why we are this bad and he doesn't deserve the sack. Guys , the chances of Hazard joining spurs are the same as me joining Barca !! first of they won't have the money for it , they won't be able to offer him half of our offered salary , and the lad strokes me as the ambitious kind of player who is looking to join one of the top clubs in the world not a 3rd placed team at its best. And worst case scenario we don't get hazard there is still a whole lot of other amazing talents outthere Gotze , Neymar , Lucas , Gaitain , Lavezzi , Hamsik comes to mind , i wouldn't worry if he chose another club than us but i will worry if we chose a Willian kind of player other than Hazard

Again , another dissappointing line-up and tactics from AVB resulting in another dissappointing result ! Why on earth does bosingwa start ahead of cahill and why did we ditch the 4-2-3-1 which brought the best football we have played lately . Anyhow we have learned/confirmed new things in this game: Lampard is done , finished , old and slow ... he shouldn't be starting our games anymore and as much of a legend he is but he should leave. Bosingwa on the right garauntees at least one goal per game conceeded . Ashley Cole , not just based on this game is no better than Bosingwa !! and tbh i never thought we would miss him against united and we didn't , also i am 100% sure if he faced Valencia he would have been terrorised . Torres is not gonna be back to his former-self , we need a new striker. Ivanovic's best position is not CB Mata on the wing is not as effective . Sturridge still has a long way to go before being considered a star and a match winner . Lukaku and that's just my own judgement will never be a decent player and his maximum potential is to be the next Heskey.

AVB , Bosingwa is gonna cost you your job . Hopefully Malouda IN Bosignwa Out with Essien playing down as a RB .

When the fuck will we stop seeing Bosingwa ??!! AVB clearly has a thing for Portuguese (Bosingwa - Miereles).

Those players were more than able to be the main man in their teams , but as you said they were outshone by the likes of ronaldinho , ronaldo , messi and lampard .. So them not being the main men in their teams is not because they are not capable of being those main men , while in sturridge's case he doesn't show the promise to be anywhere near that level.
