When teams like Porto - Benfica - Bilbao - Roma Etc ... have better DMs than our starting DM then we need to strengthen in that position .
-
<p> Yaya Toure - Tiote - De Rossi - Busquets - M'ville - Song - Mascherano - Vidal - Javi Martinez - Cambiasso - Javi Garcia(Benfica) - Parker - Romeu - Fellaini .

The team doesn't lack mobility in the back , only JT is not mobile enough and he can be covered by Luiz , Iva and Cole who are all very mobile for defenders , the problem is in deeper positions in midfield as you said. The combination of a double pivot is always a (ball winner, defense protector) and a (ball distributor, deep play-maker) , that's Mikel and Lamps but unfortunately Mikel doesn't win any balls and doesn't add any help to the defense , that's not lampard's fault .... Mikel can't make the simplest of passes under-pressure , and can't retain possession when pressed by opponents , i don't think that's Lampard's fault ...... Lampard is not a very good deep lying playmaker but he is average , Mikel on the other hand is average he is well below that !!!
-
He has exclusively owned those rights to be our worst man , as soon as he is out we are a lot better.
-
Kalou , Bosingwa and Malouda were usually bashed and criticized by fans , they simply deserved it .. Mikel now is our most bashed and criticized player , and rightly so , replace mikel with someone like a prime essien or tiote and 50% of our problems are gone , he regularly gives position away , incapable of making the simplest of forward passes , no pace , no drive , no mobility and his positioning is really questionable at times. Ivanovic is certainly at fault , but IMO it's mikel who has cost us the game and will continue to do so , Romeu over him everyday of the week .
-
Victor Moses IMO definitely has the potential to be a much more complete player than SWP , Moses has other attributes in addition to his Pace and Directness , He is physically a lot better than SWP , Better ball control , better 1st touch , much more of a goal threat , better finisher and certainly a better dribbler. I will be very happy with him here , not because he is the next Ockucha but he is in my eyes as good as Valencia .

Wouldn't be surprised if the PSG rumors are in fact true , this is exactly what happened with Pastore one year ago . However MUFC has made it clear that they are willing to splash the cash and i would rather see united splash those millions on Lucas Moura than strengthening their Midfield and/or Defense .
-
Hence why we should use Romeu and stop using Obi when planning to attack and increase the tempo .
-
I am sick of waiting for mikel to improve , his learning curve is so slow , he has been with us for 7 years and Ramires learned in 1 year more than him .
-
Mikel is the most overrated player by our fans , you can fuck all you want with statistics showing that Mikel is a very good DM , but he isn't , he is simply not even among the best in the EPL , and btw yes Scott Parker is definitely better than Mikel in terms of defensive and offensive contributions. Along the pages i have seen statistics comparing between Mikel and Romeu , where it mentioned that Mikel's passing accuracy is 90% , while Romue was at 81% but Romue's passes where much much more meaningful and effective than all of Mikel' passes. It showed that Mikel had a better successful tackles % but the truth is while Mikel enjoys walking slowly to opponents who usually pass the ball before he reaches them , Romue and the likes of Parker usually harass their oppositions forcing them to make a bad pass or at least a back pass If they didn't get the ball , So basically the case for Mikel is less number of tackles= less number of errors , less no. of forward passes= less no. of misplaced passes ..... etc. Right now , it's pretty obvious that Mikel is our 1st choice DM but for a defensive team that might work , if Di Matteo really wants to play attacking football we can wave Mikel good-bye.
-
You can all fantasize all you want but unless we replace Mikel with a proper DM , we will have the same troubles.

Most of the streams posted doesn't work properly with my bad connection , any decent streams please ??

any decent stream ??

If Moses is brought here , then this might be as good as a buy as Valencia for Man UTD . I am sure he would be a very useful addition may be he wouldn't set the world alight but he certainly would be a better piece of business than Benayoun , Lukaku , Torres ... etc.

Stream please

Barce must change or they will decline , teams now has an idea of how to face them and adding some physicality to win more aerial battles and gain some extra space in the final third is needed Hulk if bought will be used centrally as a back-up for Torres as he will be our most physical senior CF. If you think adding physicality on the wings is not needed , you should watch Valencia ( one of Man utd best players last year ) and Hulk more. I think you should read my first post again , you might understand that i never said that we should buy Hulk just for his physicality , his pace , goal threat and unique game are main assets to have. I would rather have 2 great wingers with different games than 2 superb wingers with the same attributes and game-play. We have always had very strong players like Drogba , Malouda , Anelka to match the stoke physically and my biggest problem is not how to beat stoke , it was an example !! you get the idea of using examples right ??
-
I think a lot of people are missing the point behind our real interest in Hulk , it's not just that he is one of the best RWs all over the world , in fact with this squad i would choose Hulk over Di Maria , Sanchez , Robben and many other superb RWs because we already have some very good technical players and great talents (Hazard - Mata - Marin - Sturridge) , between them and Torres they can offer a variety of Technical abilities , Great passing , Pace and lots of creativity but they are all small built players that lacks the physical strengths that sometimes decides games that power and strength that CFC is known of . Hulk is the only RW that will contribute a lot to team and add another dimension to our game , he will add Strength , Power , Directness , Long shots and more goals to this team , we don't wanna have too many similar players who are great technically but might end up choking and finding no outlets against the likes of stoke due to inability to match their physicalty . The greatest team in recent history Barcelone has suffered from not having plan B , their lacking of another dimension , of a less technical player but more powerful and effecient player has huanted them and i don't wanna have that next year.

Well what i thought will probably get " Not another one of those threads" actually turned out to be a great discussion In my opinion (which i didn't include in the start of this thread ) : Hulk will add a lot to the team and to his team-mates , i mean think about everything we currently lack upfront even after the additions of Hazard - Marin (Physicality - Unpredictability - Power - Longs shots - More than one hopeful eye for goal (only torres) ). Hazard and Mata are two great play-makers , Marin might turn our to be another one but they all offer the same solutions and their main strengths are almost the same with slight differences (creative passing - good movement - passing the final ball) , adding Hulk to that will make things much scarier for our opponents , he is a real game changer , keeping in mind that we must get a CF this summer to understudy Torres i can't see how this can turn into a bad piece of business . The main problem in many eyes is where Ramires and Marin will fit in that plan , simple Marin will be a back-up for all the trio and Ramires will be our big game player , against stronger opponents and in tricky away games Ramires may come in for any of the trio , and because of Ramires versatility and our busy year i am 100% sure he will get a lot of games.
-
If you are a chelsea fan you must be following this summer's transfers with a lot of hope and you are probably aware of our new signing Eden Hazard and our growing interest in Hulk . Hulk is an amazing talent with a unique combination of pace , power , technique and strengths , add to that his rocket launcher of feet , his eye for goals and his impressive stats of assists and goals and you have one hell of a player who will undoubtedly add more quality to any quality team. The trio of Mata , Hazard and Hulk behind Torres may be a dream come true to many fans BUT don't forget about the signing of another skillful winger Marko Marin , the heroics of our current best RW Ramires and one of the team's top scorers sturridge , who all might be fighting for a place on the wings .... not to mention that Kakuta will be back from his somehow successful loan and KDB looks like being loaned for further development but who knows , he might as well end up here .... Another perspective is Hulk won't only be starting as a RW but he will add needed depth to the CF position after Drogba's departure , as sturridge and lukaku aren't ready yet in the eyes of many to lead the line . The Hazard - Mata - Hulk will have double effects , as it will be a very pleasing view for us at the beginning of each game and it will strike many oppositions with fear of humiliation , but where do the others fit in such circumstances ? would sturridge be happy with such a small role ? Should Ramires be benched after his great year ? what if Marin finally shows what he is capable of ? Many think this year may be decisive for Kakuta but it looks like he may only feature in carling cup games if we sign Hulk ! Should we get the Incredible Hulk or should we use the money elsewhere ?!
-
Exactly !! Hulk is almost 26 , his game depends on his physical abilities and he will lose some pace and strength within 3 years . he can add a lot to the team but he will frustrate the hell out of us just as much as Sturridge in some days . On the other hand he may provide much needed physicality and power to a front-line of the likes of Mata - Torres - Marin - Kakuta - KDB - Sturridge .

You won't be welcomed here

A hint of what i expected out of you when you told me you joined TC I know Shecks personally and he will battle TX for the most controversial title of next year Back to topic , As DYC said Mikel is neither great nor poor but he can be a useful player , is there better players in his position ? Sure , Will we benefit from having someone with more energy and aggressiveness playing there ? yes . But Obi gets a job done , so he shouldn't be a priority in the replacements that should take place , before replacing our holding midfielder or getting a new one , we need to find 2 wingers , 2 creative midfielders , a RB and for me a back-up striker is needed as well since DD is leaving. That means 6 players should be brought to the club prior to replacing Mikel. So for me it's a matter of priorities and since Mikel isn't that bad of a player we can live with him .
-
I have always criticized Ramires's lack of technical ability , but now when he is deployed as a winger it's much less apparent because he doesn't need great ball control , passing or a great 1st touch to keep the ball on the wings , i like him very much at that position , with his pace , continuous running and dribbling you always know that he will at least get you 1 or 2 great chances each game . Even if we get new wingers , i think Ramires should start next season's big games , what he adds to the team will be deeply missed in 19th of may.
-
His overall game is awful , he regularly leaves the back 4 and sticks to his wing which results in Iva/Luiz/Cahill playing as CB-RB , he makes stupid mistakes and losses possession and some of that moments like today's can make a world of difference , he is really abysmal defensively and useless offensively , all his headless runs ends badly for us . I think his biggest problem is that i never felt that he is part of a back 4 unit !! you can always find A.Cole on the other side or Iva our first choice RB a part of a much more cohesive unit at the back but Bosingwa always lets his mates down by leaving them open and running headlessly with his man .

Loved his assist for Drogba today , had a great game and keeps proving that he is not finished yet .
