i think that's a clear hint that chelsea are interested ... i hope so . i have always said that luiz is gonna be the most complete defender in the world and he is already showing what he is capable of ..... even back in the summer i thought that luiz is a great deal even if it's for 25 millions and even if we had 3 other world class defenders ... and now i am telling you , alexis sanchez is the next greatest winger , he is actually up there with messi and ronaldo offcourse not at the same level yet but very close .... he should be our no.1 priority in the summer .

is Ibrahomivic a young / inexperienced player ??!! ..... he has said that he lacked motivation and he needed that from gardiola and e referred to how mourinho used to inspire his team and motivate them .... off-course experienced internationals need coaching otherwise managers would have sent them the tactics via e-mail ... players need inspiration and motivation ... they need to know if someone is doing something wrong then how should he make that right .. carlo is not capable of inspiring and motivating his players ...

well , this is exactly what we need , but so was aguero 2 years ago , kaka 3 years ago ..... so i think we will end up signing a SB or a DM we love to sign those kind of players .

sturridge would be such a waste as a winger , his best attribute is his awareness and anticipation as a striker .... his passing game is not good enough to be a winger , if we are to use those 3 in the future it should be : Kakuta Torres Sturridge kakuta is at his best as a classic no.10 and sturridge is better as a SS or CF , why play them as wingers !!

every chelsea fan knows the value of Drogba , we all have seen the kind of damage this warrior is able to do .... but let's face it we now have 2 of the best strikers in Drogba and torres , and realistically they will never have the partnership we all hope they will , they make the same runs play in the same positions and each of them likes to be the main man upfront and have the rest of the team built around him . so we have one choice either sell Drogba or Sell torres , they are not able to play together and you can't keep neither Drogba or torres on the bench . and it's not only Drogba we should sell , we actually need to offload Drogba , anelka , kalou , malouda , ferrera , hilario . their replacements should be : 1- Drogba > torres 2- anelka > Hamsik 3- kalou > Alexis Sanchez 4- malouda > sturridge - kakuta - ferrera > David luiz - hilario > anybody. i would love our front 3 to be torres , Sanchez and (zhrikov - sturridge - kakuta - benayoun )

Patience is the key . i have no doubt about united's approach in that game , they are likely to defend from deep and keep spaces very tight and things very hard for us using a lot of pressure in their own half .... they will try to punish us on the counter using nani's skills , rooney's pace and berbatov's finishing .... i think SAF will probably start with a 4-5-1 line up with rooney alone upfront , he will try to let us have a lot of possession , drag us to his half and use counters to score a goal if he wasn't able to then he will happily settle for a draw . he is the best manager in the EPL atm , and he knows that his players are not a match for ours even if we are having a bad patch so he won't come to our faces .... that was his approach in all big games in 2010 and 2011. we must have patience , make sure we don't throw many players upfront or back .... we have to try and let them have the ball sometimes for us to be able to get the ball back and find spaces between their defenses .. i expect this game to be a very boring game , without a lot of chances ... if any team has a real chance to win then it will be the one who can make the most of their chances .

Love how every one is pulling a carlo , hoping things will work themselves out and everything is gonna be o.k with the same players ...... well , things are not gonna get any better except if : 1- we get two new players , either 2 pacy wingers or 1 winger and 1 playmaker . 2- we give the youngsters their deserved chances . 3- just like last year we have some dead wood we need to get rid of . 4- we need a real assistant manager ( we have a fake one now ). 5- carlo goes and gets some balls or just fuckin leave .

well , we are obviously the better side ... then again we should be a far better side than copenhagen .... TBH before the game i would have taken 1-0 at halftime but after i have seen what copenhagen are made of then it will be just like that day like when we won 7-0 over ispwich or 2-0 over bolton ... it means nothing ... what i would really like to watch , is chelsea playing with character even if the final touch is not there , even if we don't score 2 or 3 goals ..... but at least the players should be taking the right positions , making the right decisions , moving in the right way and for godsake have a decent 6 or 7 passes ..... unfortunately this isn't happening ....

liverpool was a different case , they were a cup team which was designed to defend and scratch a goal from a counter attack , they were expected to have one or two scoring opportunities each match but they made the most of them ... they used a different game and had a different style , they let the opposition have possession for most of the game and punish them on counters , same as Greece in euro 2004 or Italy in the world club ... they struggled in the league because they drew too many matches against weaker teams who just park bus and don't attack them , then they weren't able to use their defend and punish on the counter strategy .. anyway that was a special case that is not expected to be repeated every now and then , the winner of the ucl is usually one of the best teams in europe , inter was the most effective team last year , barca was superb the year before , man utd was arguably with chelsea the best teams in 2008 ... you can't be playing like shit and expect the luck to be your friend !!! our only hope is we get an easy draw in the quarter finals , and get the weakest team in the semi- finals and be at our best at the final with luck at our side . do you really believe that's gonna happen ??

LMAO at those claims of us winning the champions league , we are a team that is struggling to even get a place in the champions league ... i used to think that copenhagen fixture was lucky , but it turns out that this draw is not so lucky afterall ..... if we had a tough fixture , we would have lost carlo would have left and we would have been able to get back to top 4 in the epl. now i think we will win against copenhagen and lose in the next round by then it will be too late for a new manager to come and get us back to top 4 . the quicker carlo is out the better for me , i know this sounds ridiculous but i don't care as i think i am kinda stoned right now .

it's getting more painful every week !!! players are out of form , carlo is struggling to find solutions , and the bad moment seems to never fade away

superb post but that just shows that carlo has got it all wrong , a good manager should know that he should play with the best formation and tactics that suits his players instead of trying to force his players to play with his style and his same tactics that has worked with different players , with another team , in another league ..... it's bloody obvious that this isn't the right way for chelsea right now , may be in the future with players like mceacehran and kakuta we might be able to play this attractive play , but while having 2 of essien/mikel/ramires in our midfield... that shouldn't be an option ...

Chelsea played 7 different natural scorers in total (Drogba - anelka - torres - kalou - lampard - malouda - sturridge ) . Clearly, this suggests tactics and formation are the problem, rather than just the players. i completely agree that a lot of them are out of form but how did ancelotti react ?? whatever he is trying to do , it's not working ... i don't know what our options are when it comes to sacking carlo but a new assistant looks like a great start .

i think roman has not sacked carlo yet because : 1- when we sacked mourinho , grant , scolari .... there was always a great assistant coach in clark or wilkins who can carry on after , those men were able to take control of the team till a new manager is appointed , and they also were a great aid for the new manager .... 2-carlo's ability to work under any conditions , he never says no , and he will do whatever you tell him to do , in other words he can be bossed unlike mourinho ... 3- lack of other options , may be there is no other options all other reasons are complete shit : 1-the fact that he has won the double has nothing to do with him being here this season , did you forget that mourinho won back to back EPls before he was sacked ... 2-he has won the dressing room , well i doubt that because i know the likes of terry , lamps and Drogba are never happy losing also i doubt that has anything to do with his sacking .

well , the problem is certainly a managerial one ..... i think the sacking of wilkins had proved to be a stupid move , but carlo has o take his fair share of the blame as well ..... he is the manager of CFC and he should be the 1st man to be asked about whatever goes wrong on the pitch ...

well our problem is not onlt the midfield trio .... we never had xavi , iniesta kinda players back in mourinho's days but we were winning , the only creative CM we had was deco ... and he spent 3/4 of the season injured ... the problem mainly is our wingers ... we lack creativity and in a 4-3-3 formation wingers main role is to create , they are not supposed to score many goals , nor just play the short simple passes ... wingers have to be creative... i have always said that we have to get sanchez in jan. whatever the cost is ...... i would have prefered sanchez to torres , although torres is a great striker who would be a great aid in the next 3-4 years .... we have to get sanchez and may be hamsik in the summer who is also a superb player , i was always one of those who praised luiz before he came here , and i am telling hamsik and sanchez are just as good as luiz in their positions ..

and that is exactly my point , when a player or two are poor then it is probably not the manager's fault , but when most of your players are poor then the manager should be questioned ... if carlo did his job alright , then no one should be saying we lost because torres was not at his best , if torres couldn't score then Drogba , anelka , kalou essien or lamps should have scored but when they are all poor and when our play is shit then the problem is the tactics not the players , we have 3 world class strikers in torres , Drogba and anelka ... we have superb midfielders in lamps , malouda , essien and ramires ... Carlo's job is to get the best out of all of them ... and he obviously is not capable of doing so .

carlo is examining roman's pateince ..... most of our players are out of form , they all lack confidence , they are all a shadow of their former selves .... only ramires , luiz are looking fit and good and i think that is because they are new young players who needs to prove themselves so they have self motivation ..... cech is good because he is a GK , who works with the GK trainer and not carlo .. the only exceptions are terry and may be iva and that is probably because they are born fighters who never give up specially the captain . anyway , luiz was absolutely superb .... and carlo another bad game for you , you can't just wait for Drogba or some player to score a blinder like his 1st goal vs bolon to open up the game for u ... do your fuckin homework , wake your players up , get our old chelsea back or just fuckin leave already .. damn i forgot how does it feel to be winning week in week out ..
