kalou and anelka the shittiest pair i have ever seen . completely useless . carlo just have the balls for one time and take them both for Drogba and sturridge then with 30 min. to go put lamps in .

come on 6 points !! seriously !!! against tottenham away , Man utd home and arsenal away !!! we should know better now .... in our last six league games we have managed to get 5 points and that was against fulham , sunderland and everton at home,bimingham , livepool and newcastle away !!! we would be lucky to get 3 points from those games .

can't remember what it's like to win a home game and more worryingly to even draw an away game !!!!! can't remember what it's like to dominate games from midfield as we have always used to !!!! can' remember what it's like to keep a clean sheet and a solid defense!!!! can't remember what it's like to threaten opposition's goal from all angles and playing nice attacking and/or counter attacking football , well lately it looked more likely than not that we won't even score in a meaningless game against Marsiella. !!!! big star players are shit and young promising youngsters are rusting on the bench !!!!! injuries are flying in just like goals that we concede and with each injury the results goes from bad to worse !!!! YES , WE ARE IN A FUCKIN CRISES AND THE FIRST STEP WE SHOULD TAKE IS TO ADMIT THAT WE ARE IN A CRISES AND NOT JUST A ROUGH PATCH !!!!!! then let's try to break it down and figure out the reasons behind this crises and how should we act ??? IMO i think the main reason is Carlo Ancelotti , the man who has no balls to play youngstes , who is too weak to ask for new players and who has not enough charisma or control over big stars . enough of mr. nice guy , we need a master tactician to help a very tactical , physical and functional players to fulfill their potential . ancelotti's substitution was always described as shit , but now his start up formation looks more shitty that his subs doesn't look that bad . So for me sacking carlo and getting hiddink back is the answer to most of our problems , but i know most of you won't agree with me so what do you think the solution is ...????

well may be that is not the right question , may be it should be : should anelka be our pacy , tricky and creative winger ?? and my answer to that question will be absolutely not. anelka is not past his best and if we were playing with 2 strikers i would have been glad to have him around but as long as we are playing a 4-3-3 formation he shouldn't be in the starting line up .

david luiz is the only defender that i would like to see wearing a chelsea shirt , he is already better than both alex and ivanovic . and he is only 23 !!!! he can be our next carvahlo but only better

and then again one of many qualities that lampard posses is his smart movement off the ball in the final third and connecting defense with midfield and attack when he drops back . i am not saying he will single handily get us the points but he will be a great help and may fix a lot of problems .

our main problem lately is that when we have the ball at our feet we seem to not know what to do with it !!! that is a very serious problem that has resulted in us conceding many goals and have very small amount of scoring opportunities . and here comes lampard . one of the best players in the world in distributing the ball knowing when to slow things down and when to rush things . i am not saying he is the answer to all of our problems but he is the answer to our biggest problem . you can watch the goals we conceded lately and mostly they were because a midfielder (mikel or ramires) has lost possession from a bad position but usually with lamps on the field he is available for the pass , and then send one of our front 3 or a.cole to a good attacking place . also we seem to look lost in midfield and we are not dominating games from midfield as usual because malouda and zhikov are not CMs while ramires is not an attacking CM nor is essien or mikel so in other words we need better positioning , more commitment and to be more organized in our play . keeping all that in mind lamps will at least double our chances of getting 6 points or more from those games if he is back

the most probable scenario: carlo will start the same line up and lampard won't be available for tottenham's game and in this case our results will be : lose vs tottenham , lose vs man utd , win vs arsenal (well , even now they can't score against us) but hopefully there will be another scenario and that one simply is Lamps will be back in time and our front 3 will be malouda Drogba and sturidge/kakuta we will secure at least 7 points by drawing against totenham and winning against arse and man utd

what we really need is definitely more passion and desire in our play but with the likes of kalou and anelka that will never happen ... i mean i can get along with Drogba and essien not hitting top form but you can see that they care about winning and they are at least trying but sometimes anelka and kalou are just not there . we need some serious change and we need it quickly may be if some players find themselves sitting on the bench for a 17 years old kids that will be a very good wake up call for them and one thing i am 100% sure of the youngsters will have more desire and will be more interested than some senior players and seriously we can't get any worse than this !!!!

i think after december even carlo will come out and admit that we should already give up on the epl and get more prepared for the UCL ...... but with the form of barca , i don't think we can manage to win the UCL as well but may be we can fight for the fa cup . i know it may be a knee jerk reaction to mention that our league chances are almost over , but with tottenham , man utd and arsenal fixtures coming next i can't see us getting more than 3 points out of them that means being may be 10 or 8 points behing man utd . i will be more happy to get ready for the UCL and also give the youngsters their chances .

Started the season with winning all first five games (6-0,6-0,2-0,3-1,4-0) scoring 21 goals and conceding just 1 !!!! well they really look invincible !!!! two months later and the same team results have changed dramatically that for our last five games we have only scored 2 goals and conceded 7 !!!!! well ,even getting a point from the newcastle away game was more than satisfying for some of our own fans !!! well you gotta ask yourself what the hell happened !!!! a lot of people here can't help but keep neglecting the fact that lately we have been a complete shit . and the reasons are pretty obvious only that some wouldn't like to admit it . 1- We have one of the worst medical team in europe : Lamps injury - terry - alex - benayoun - Drogba's malaria all have been misjudged and mistreated bu our medical staff which resulted in missing important players for longer periods . 2-Lampard's injury : each of mentioned injury could have saved us may be 3 or 2 points and we would have been top with those 2 points if terry or essien or Drogba was fit but i think it's a completely different case with lamps ..... if lampard was fit within 2 or 3 weeks from his injury as it should have been we would have been at least 5 points ahead at the top and the difference between him and others is he is the only irreplaceable player in chelsea !!!! yes , we can afford to lose dogba , essien or even terry but not lamps as we have no replacement for him !!! i have discussed that before in another topic and mentioned how without lamps we are so predictable . 3- Wilkins Sacking !!!! you have a steady ship , a team that won the double every thing looks good and secure for the 1st time since mourinho and all of a sudden a very popular character was sacked only to lower wages !!!! as much as carlo and players would say that haven't affected them but i will have to disagree. 4- thin squad : at the start of the season it was clear that we have a very thin squad but with the departure of ballack , deco , carvahlo , joe cole and belleti we were kinda happy and excited to watch the promising youngsters that we have but they had to sit on the bench watching the team suffering with players playing out of position and others playing though injury . 5- ferrera - kalou - zhikov - anelka well all good players if we are astonvilla or everton but not the champions ..... and they are blocking some real prospects like bruma , sturridge , kakuta and mceacheran from rising to big stars.

god damn it !! we desperately miss Lamps !!!! i knew this would happen back when i started this topic , i knew we would just crash but i didn't think it will be that long before he is back . without lamps , chelsea looks like a team with no brain .... we desperately need him back and we need some fucking quality play-maker replacement as we have all seen what we look like without lamps .... shweinstiger and hamsik look like real options for me .

ross turnbull , yuri zhkov , ramires , benayoun , sturridge ....... those are our signings for the last couple of years . i found myself only stupid to think we might actually get a shweinstiger or a neymar. i will be very satisfied if we can keep kakuta , borini and bruma and just send them out on loans.

at some point i agree with you , kakuta at some points played like shit but on the other hand he made some very few magical moments that shows that he can turn into something else if he was given enough chances and if he had enough confidence ... what kakuta does best is beating his man and he has an incredible eye for the killer pass and i think no one can deny that but those two skills require a lot of confidence not only in your skills but also that if you wasted a couple of balls you won't be substituted at half time ..... !!!!!! i always get the feeling that most of our youngsters who come in look very nervous as they know it might be their only chance to prove a point . sturridge has been nothing but great in his last appearances , always looked lively , sharp and dangerous don't you think he should be rewarded !!!!! specially that we have kalou now starting week in week out

i have just watched the replay of the newcastle match and anelka was one of the worst players on the field .... i have found malouda running from midfield with ball looking for the killer pass while Drogba was surrounded by 2 players , kalou was offside and anelka was just not moving at all . my point is i would love to see more activity from our front three as our movement off the ball specially in the final third is shit and in my opinion anelka and kalou were responsible of this . you only think anelka gives everything because he seems to have the ball a lot in his feet and that's only because as you mentioned he just keeps cutting back and then forward again and then runs with ball without having any idea what he will do next !!!! and when anelka was in possession , Drogba , malouda and a.cole all made great movements for him and he could just put the killer pass and sent them to one on one with the keeper but instead he would rather cut back inside and shoot a pointless ball that he never scored . i knew a lot of people will think that criticizing anelka will be harsh but tbh i can only find sturridge and kakuta equally if not more dangerous than anelka .

yes , they are !!!! as long as they will replace lazy anelka and wasty kalou .... i don't have a problem with us losing with kakuta and sturridge improving at least we are gonna get something out of the game like how we got mceacheran out of newcastle's cup game . but losing with anelka and frustrating kalou makes me very dissappointed . obviously things aren't going in the right direction and we need to change things fast instead of just waiting for our injured players to be back because let's face it with our luck other players will be injured as soon as they get back

every time i read a match thread i get very disappointed !!!! people still hope that carlo will give kakuta or sturridge a chance to shine instead of two very useless players like anelka and kalou .... and each and every time carlo proves you wrong it will always and forever be anelka and kalou ahead even if they were bad players who are not inform . but we have a very useless match against marsielle this week may be then they will get their chances
