Yet even with all the negatives and shocking defending, we still had the chance to take that 3 points right at the death. Falls to the 1 player out of the entire team you’d want it to with a gaping, empty net from a yard out and he somehow misses it.
Fucking sickening. Going to take a couple of days and perhaps some fortunate results around us for me to get over this one.

The Chelsea game..least its at the Bridge! Surely next year we can beat the 13 year curse!

I think you’re missing the point a lot of people were making. It was never about having the right to beat Arsenal. It was about having a go.
We needed to. We were 3-2 down from the first leg. Instead we fucked about for 45 minutes - against a team that were in no real rush to get after us - then got beat anyway.
They were there for the taking, just took too long to try and do so, on top of not having enough quality when it mattered.

Something also worked in their favour is having the same manager since 2019. It hasn't always paid off and taken them a while to get to this point but hes definitely got them there now! 

We know that winning the CL is more important than winning the Carabao Cup. That’s obvious. What I’m pointing out is that we should be trying to win the Carabao Cup regardless… we should be going for The League title not just accepting top 4. Especially after the money spent to assemble this farcical squad. We should be going for every single trophy available. There should be no compromise even spoken of, let alone actually acted upon which is what appears to be happening at this club with the evidence of resting key players for important games in specific competitions. We aren’t just making this shit up.. it’s literally being briefed to us by the club through their mouth pieces, the dodgy twat on Sky Sports News, Ben Jacobs, Fabrizio, Matt Law and Ornstein. They aren’t journalists, they are literally paid to spout the nonsense that is fed to them by the clubs who pay them. 

That's the thing. End of the day trophy is a trophy. We were never the lot to look down on this and always we'd try to win. Having got to 6 Wembley finals or whatever it is and losing them all its a chance to put it right!
We used to laugh at Arsenal and that for never winning or competing and now its us.
Do think double..worse case treble..urghhhhhh. 

I can’t believe there are fans actually saying shit like this. We haven’t won a domestic trophy since 2018 i believe. Another few more years and it’s more than a decade. Then how long after? How long before we become a Spurs? You would never hear this talk under Roman.. NEVER! Every trophy must be won… every trophy is worth winning. 
 
Not only that but we had the chance to stop Arsenal from winning it and possible a double, treble or quadruple. You do realise how bad it’s going to be if Arsenal achieve any of that, don’t you?

And top of the league.. and in a final..and 10 games unbeaten against us..that also used to be us 😞 how quickly its changed.

Getting to a final in a cup competition like the Carabao Cup would’ve been nice though. And winning it, even better. We are only going to win the minor trophies with this group and ownership though. We will not be winning league or Champions Leagues.
Maybe the net spend champions trophy will come back out though? Just like when folk were absolutely over the moon we signed Enzo, Caicedo & Lavia for a net spend of whatever it was and that was all they went on about 😂

In reality, busy = sending out a bunch of ultra fringe players who weren’t close to the first team out on loan and recalling a CB who may not even get into the team ahead of dogshit Badiashile and Tosin.
 

Thats the thing we are losing to Arsenal so nice as be to win that league needs to be priority. Had we lost this then we could again slide down the table depending on others below us results so silly to risk
