You cant expect Liverpool to be ok with options like Markovic, Borini, Lambert and Balotelli. They will look to sell the last 3 imo. For potential starters, they have Sturridge (who is injured for 3/4 a season), Coutinho, Lallana (who was poor last season), and Sterling. If Sterling is gone, Firmino is a must to replace him. I agree their squad is very big squad right now, but players will leave.
-
But Sterling will probably get sold to City, Firmino comes as his needed replacement. With Liverpool leaking to all media they will sell Sterling for 50m pounds, i dont think they rely on keeping him. Now they'll go for a striker, Bacca or Benteke it seems.

More updates from Di Marzio: The player's agent, Sascha Empasher, travelled to London to meet with Chelsea who offered €15 million, but it will likely take €20 million to acquire him. Chelsea faces competition from Juve for Baba, but they are trying to close the deal before the bianconeri.

Can you tell which top players are there for us to buy? you all need to look at the market, at all the top clubs, not just what our club is doing.. you can easily see that the options are very limited. Bayern are also looking for a winger, looks like they're going for Douglas Costa. PSG are doing something? Real? City are after Sterling for 50m pounds, you think we should be that desperate? Seriously, besides being grumpy about the transfer window, can you tell me who would you want us to buy? how could the club make decisive transfers this time again? lets see your ideas. According to the latest we're after Pogba, and interested in Sterling for 40m pounds. Are there any other available players do you want us to go after?
-
I think our chances in getting a deal with Juventus is very high (if we want him so bad). They like Oscar, they also reportedly interested in Cuadrado and Salah. The bigger problems are Pogba's willingness to join us, and his wages.
-
The full article from Di Marzio: "But now there is also Chelsea, who has contacted the player's entourage. There is an issue tied to the wages, Pogba is asking €10 million net of taxes a season, as well as the 20% requested on a potential future resale, which would go to agent Raiola, as well as the player's marketing rights which belong to Pogba's former agent Tanazefti. The negotiation could however take place despite these hurdles, Pogba is at the top of the wish list of many big clubs".

This topic is going nuts right now... right?
-
Literally the only FB we're linked with is a LB - Baba.
-
"Chelsea are taking concrete steps to sign Baba", according to Di Marzio. Juventus and Roma are after him as well but we're more serious right now.
-
Just thinking: Sky were the outlet who linked us to Song, and now they are saying we dont want to sell Mikel. I hope its just "Not selling until we find a replacement" or "Not selling pay us some more money". If Mikel wants to leave he can only if he wants to leave to Arsenal? "who the fuck are Al Ain?! were not selling to non-rival bulshit team..."
-
They will but they need a 3rd CB.
-
I think they should move Koke to the pivot, and i dont think they'll play with Vietto-Martinez-Griezmann. That would be my pick: -----Koke-Gabi----- Turan--------O.Torres Martinez-Griezmann(Vietto) They'll have a very strong squad with plenty of options from the bench. Definitely the strongest squad they had in the last few years. Still interesting to see what will happen with Alderweireld. Miranda is off so they'll need him or other CB.

Cuadrado’s agent will meet with Chelsea tomorrow: Juventus & Inter are interested. http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/calciomercato/cuadrados-agent-will-meet-with-chelsea-tomorrow-juventus-inter-are-interested/

So you're saying United are going to win the league in the coming seasons (over Chelsea), and while they are doing that you prefer to see Cech lifting the cup? again, over his and your beloved Chelsea. You're very nice. (Arsenal are already winning FA cups, thats why i assumed you mean league titles)
-
Mourinho said all along that if it was his decision Cech wouldnt move to our rival. But its not his decision. I just cant see why we're being so nice.. why we should be so nice to Petr when he wishes to play for our biggest rival? i know, "his kids moving to another country bla bla bla", so what? he's a professional, if he wants to stay in London so bad he should wait until his contract ends. Obviously he wont stay in case we're telling him he wont move to Arsenal, he'll move to PSG. This move is very much like the Mata move to United, the club accepted his request to move to United and we do it again. Professionally, i didnt worry about Mata in United and i dont worry now. I cant see them as game changers. But in the Mata deal we got a lot of money, now there's no gain at all.
-
Why would you hope he goes to United for his ambition and career? you hope he'll have a chance to win things? in United?!
-
who was it in 2012? there's Mata, Lampard... Sturridge?
-
Maybe Inter (who are in the lead according to Di Marzio) will pay the 25m euros, they seem very willing to spend this summer. I dont think Juve needs him, only if they're changing to 4-3-3 which will be a surprise, especially when Allegri talks about a trequartista in Oscar and Isco. In 4-3-1-2, they have enough strikers and i cant see Salah as the trequartista.
-
Thats what Asamoah Gyan said: "I heard it this week that Mikel has agreed terms with Al Ain and will most definitely be playing for us next season"
-
Mikel wants to leave #CFC because he's not getting regular football but has been told they don't want to sell him (via @SkySportsAmy) What the F*********

Bayern are interested in Douglas Costa - Di Marzio. I think the media in Germany also reported about it weeks ago... According to previous rumors, they were interested in Sterling and Griezmann until they heard how much they'll cost. Goes to show the market lacks options in those positions, not just for us (by 'us' i mean Chelsea fans).
-
Willian and Oscar are better imo.
-
I agree, looks like a relatively quite summer for most clubs. Month ago i thought there's gonna be something with Bale, Di Maria, Pogba, Verratti, but it looks like all of them will stay in their clubs. I think the big moves this summer will (might) involve those players: KDB, Gundogan, De Gea, Sterling, Otamendi, Dzeko, Bacca, Jovetic, Schneiderlin, Firmino. Surprising deals might involve Higuain and Griezmann.
-
GKs dont win you league titles, so i dont see it as something we should be worry about or as a game changer for Arsenal. Imo, to be a real threat they need to bring a striker and a DM, and it looks like they're settling for Giroud and Coquelin. I think both of those players will be crucial in their on-going failure in the title race. Just not good enough. They already passed on J.Martinez and Mandzukic, there are still Bacca, Dzeko, maybe even Lukaku (who im not sure will be better), but it looks like its not on the agenda. They could have gone for Kondogbia and Imbula which they didnt do, looks like a DM is not on the agenda either, Wenger also said "we have enough Midfielders", when asked about Vidal. So, I think Wenger's arrogance or zero motivation, whatever it is that makes him to be such an horrible competitor, will keep him and Cech away from a title. But with all that being said, i dont think we should've sold him to Arsenal, just feels funny. Though its nice to discover (again) that for all this time the only real Chelsea around here were Drogba, Essien and Terry. Never seen Petr as a Terry-like symbol, so its not really a problem for me, as opposed to the Lamaprd-CIty move which felt like a stub in the back.

So we seem to be targeting Dembele because of The Sun report?
