  1. Di Marzio now says Atletico are interested in Cuadrado as well, when he already said they want Salah. If thats the truth, i would be surprised if we wont be making any swap deals with them. So according to Di Marzio its Inter, Roma and Atletico after Cuadrado. Fiorentina, Atletico and Wolfsburg after Salah.
  2. Anderson is right footed and plays LW isnt he? Personally i would prefer Fekir, its hardly a makeshift when he played for one team and for only two seasons, he's yet to find is "preferred" position imo. And Anderson is pretty similar experience-wise But anyway, there arent many options.. in the forum we can keep playing this game of "hope he'll be available", and reject many options like Fekir, but in reality i cant see a WC winger who can possibly be availble this summer. Something could happen, but you need to be ready that nothing will. So then, what do you do.
  3. In Lyon he played as the 10# or the second striker behind Lacazette, that doesn't mean those are the only positions he can play in. Lyon don't play with RW or LW, they play a diamond formation. I can't think of any reason Fekir can't play as the RW in our system with his left foot and fantastic ball control. And it's not like Reus or Griezmann played RW in their careers. But you didnt answer my question, what would you do?
  4. Lets say Reus isnt moving anywhere, Di Maria is staying in Man u, and Mourinho doesnt rate Griezmann as a RW (possible imo), what do you do then? whats the next move? In a year, every top club will be after Fekir and he'd cost twice as much.
  5. Anyone they sign can only play in 2016, they're not breaking any rules.
  6. In Atletico I saw him mainly as a 2nd striker and he didn't played the ball a lot, the same happend for France yesterday when he plays RW. I can see why Mourinho won't go for this, not a ball playing winger, his profile is of a striker more than anything. Could see him being a success here though, with Cesc looking for his run, and him finishing plays when we're trying to break a parked bus, but 60m it's a lot to pay for him.
  7. Nothing wrong, but when a transfer doesnt make any sense (such as Varane) you're bound to be disappointed.
  8. Like i said, Varane is an option only in the minds of some dreamers.
  9. Matic-Gustavo ----Cesc---- Thats a midfield I could see working in the biggest stages, with Mourinho's tactics.
  10. If he comes here, he should'nt be playing in the pivot. should be Matic-Cesc -Pogba- If you put him in the pivot you dont get the best out of him, he should be able to run "box to box", and he's not a playamker like Cesc, someone who'll move the ball around.
  11. Imo he's still very raw, not a 'complete' player. He'll do some nice things during a game, but he cant be dominant and contribute for the all game. There's something very young and not centerd in his game right now. Im not sure he'll ever be what people expect from him, i have some question marks mainly about his intensity, motivation and energy, but he might change that under the right manager and the right team. Im not sure Juve's system is the right one for his development, i think he should be playing with more technical attackers so we could really see how good he can be, how he fits in a more demanding attacking game. Not saying it just because of yesterday, i thought he was ok overall, maybe even good in some moments, especially if you compare it to the horrible games from Vidal and Pirlo.
  12. No, its not the same Barcelona of 2009-2012, with Pep, The tici taca, and Xavi-Messi-Iniesta. The current team is based mainly on their attacking trio, less on ball possession, and imo they're a much-much lesser side. Imo we saw a few teams in the last few seasons who's better than this current Barcelona side, Bayern 2012-13, Real 2011-12, i think they were stronger. I also think there wasnt any real force this season to compete with this Barcelona. Real who looked great in the start of the season went down with injuries but not just, Bayern went down with even more injuries and Pep's stubbornness in the semi finals, and those were the two teams who should've compete with Barca. A lot of you are talking like there's nothing to do against this Barcelona side, i dont think its the truth, tactically its not a great side like the once i mentioned. They are far away from being perfect or unstoppable. Again about the minutes after the Juve goal (until the Suarez goal), nobody was pressing in those minutes im talking about, not Juve and not Barca, it turend into a very balanced game. But Juve ruined it by looking to get the win agressively, with two of their full backs up the pitch and their center backs the only two who stayed behind. In the Suarez goal, the all team was just caught sleeping and it wasnt even after a lose ball, you can see all the players running back but it was too late. im sure Allegri thought it was a stupid goal to concede. I dont think attacking so agressively was the right call for Juve, it wasnt at all necessary to keep Barcelona quite and you can see it if you rewatch those minutes. When again, Juve were'nt pressing in this period. The motive to attack is logical, Juve sensed its the time to win the game, but i expected them to be more cautios. Their attacking game is not good enough to go all out against Barca, and they're not comfortable enough to play an open game in this level, to be able to get back quick in positions. They got punished for thinking this way.
  13. I dont think Barca post-Morata's goal were in a position to go and dominate Juve, create lots of chances around the box, taking over the ball, they were not automatically up for it after that goal. They were not like 'ok we conceded, we're still the better team and we're going to score', the approch was the opposite imo. Juve kept controling the match. Allegri's tactical change was correct to get back in it, but it should have changed after they scored. Juve are not that good to keep going that same way. There's no correct defensive plan, but like we saw from Barca vs Bayern, the correct plan is not to let Barca counter attacking for a long period (10-15 mintues is a long period). Juventus were brave, too brave in my opinion.
  14. Why is it strange? not at all. im not saying Juve needed to win the game or were the better side in the 90 mintues, im just analyzing the most important phase of the game, the phase where the games changed twice, where the winning goal was scored. Juve got their goal and after that Barcelona couldnt push to win the game, im saying that from Juve's view they shouldnt have left so much space in behind, keep attacking but dont be so naive. You cant do that against those players.
  15. He's playing for Colombia right now against Costa Rica. If anyone is interested: http://www.rojadirecta.me/goto/www.arenavision.in/arenavision013
  16. The Barca 2-1 goal didnt came from dominance, it came from a counter attack because Juve sent too many players to try and score the winning goal. I think in those minutes, you could've expect Juve to at least see this out for an extra time. In a way, Juve did a favour for Barcelona who were'nt really in the game, and were far away from creating chances in those mintues.
  17. I think Juve missed a huge chance tonight. Since their goal, they were the best team by far, but what are you doing going all out for the second? i cannot understand it. How can you allow counter attacks of Messi-Suarez-Neymar? 4 vs 3, 5 vs 4, and it wasnt just once. Barcelona are the best this season, but their game today was unconvincing especially in the 2nd half, they were there for the taking in that half, smarter approach by Juve would've at least get them to the extra time. If i need to judge the level of Barcelona, and by that the level of the top teams, i would say there wasnt a team who was really really strong this season, and i think its quite surprsing if you look at the money investments in all the top teams. Reasons? probably the ageing squad of Bayern, and probably also Pep's tactics who never changes and how he weakened Henykess's side, and Real's problems - changing a winning squad, injuries, Ancelotti. Barcelona are very good, but i wont say its one the greatest sides i've seen. The front 3 is amazing but thats their main thing. The Central Midfield isnt frightening or the best in the world, and their manager doesnt give them the extra you can expect from the best team in the world. As a Chelsea fan, im more optimistic, im not sure we need aggressive changes to be in that stage next season if we'll keep improving as a team. Improving the squad cant do any harm, but i think we can see there's no unstoppable force in Europe right now.
  18. £33m is way too much, but i would have him, fantastic midfielder.
  19. I agree in some way, its reasonable to expect at least one signing who's going to really improve us, i would say a RW or CM, but people shouldnt get to carried away if we're not signing a world class player for each position. We cant be sure its needed, and its not like we can spend endless amount of money, or there are enough wc targets to be able to get one for each position.
  20. RW, he's also a lefty. My feeling is that Costa will be better than the other wingers we tried (Salah, Cuadrado, Schurlle..) I think he should be our last option, after Griezmann, Reus, Di Maria (cech deal?), Fekir and maybe Sterling (depends on his price).
  21. I was just doing some 'dirty work' tbh.. got into ESPN and looked for the games he scored in. But im pretty sure there are sites who show that.. maybe whoscored?
  22. You said "he was poor in his last season at Atleti before joining monaco", and people showed you are wrong, than you said "virtually all of his goals during that stretch came from penalties (last 4 months in Atletico) and i showed you're wrong about that as well. How can anyone take this seriously if you just make things up? And there were not "a few injuries" in Monaco there was one very big injury. He was never "relegated to the bench". Lies everywhere.
