  1. ^ He is a left back, he has nothing to do with the right wing.
  2. Why hate Iniesta ? He just did his job and if there's a respectable player at Barcelona, it's him.
  3. ^ Indeed. But we have made that mistake once, let's not make it twice.
  4. • If Carlo Ancelotti stays : give him an assistant and grant him more power. • A better medical staff and a better communication on the injuries. • Hire Hiddink at the board. • Give Sturridge what he deserves, ie regular starts. • Leave McEachran in Coyle's care. • Give Kakuta and Bertrand a role in the first team. • Loan Bruma, PvA and Borini to a Premier League side. • Buy Neymar. • Buy a right back (I would go for Santon) and a playmaker. • I don't ask for trophies. I just want us to play our very own game style and build a team for the futur.
  5. I'm fully agree with you here. Zizou can't be compared with Drogba, because Zidane belongs to a group of few players who can be labeled as best players of the world. I love Drogba, but Zidane >>>>> Drogba.
  6. How comes ????? The lad is 18 years old and has yet to play with first team...
  7. Best player (more than 10 apps) - Petr Cech. Worst player (more than 10 apps) - Jose Bosingwa. Most improved player - John Obi Mikel. Best goal - Ramires Vs Manchester City at Stamford Bridge. Best buy - David Luiz. Worst buy - Fernando Torres. Best team performance - The first game of the season, ie Vs West Brom at Stamford Bridge. Best individual performance - Didier Drogba vs Machester United in UCL, at Old Trafford. Best youngster - Sturridge. Most memorable moment - David Luiz goal vs Man United (for happiness) and when Sam Hutchinson ended up his carrer (for the sadness).
  8. That's exactly what I was thinking about. Ivanovic seems to struggle against pacey wingers. Our two games vs Lucky Utd has hilighted that, he struggled against Nani and I'd rather have Luiz at RB than have Ivanovic on the right and force Ramires (admitting he starts the game) to help him to handle Bale. The only player who shouldn't start in my opinion is Kalou. Otherwise I'd go with the same starting eleven which has beat West Ham. So to replace Kalou I'd pick up Benayoun. Finally we manage to play with speed in our game, hence I think it is very important to keep Anelka far away from our starting lineup. If Ramires isn't fit enough, then play Benayoun in the midfield and play Kalou on the right wing. My team : Cech Luiz - Ivanovic - Terry - Cole Mikel Ramires - Lampard Benayoun - Drogba - Malouda
  9. As a French journalist said : "José Mourinho writes the scripts, and the others play them."
  10. Or this... : With a penalty on Florent Malouda and with Arsène Wenger's comments :eyebrows:
  11. - Gareth Bale - he has done two good games in Champions League and did fuck all. Even Ferreira didn't look ridiculous against him. - Jack Wilsher - don't get me wrong, he is very good and will have a bright futur, but at the moment he is way overrated, ie his inclusion in the PFA team of the year. - Dimitar Berbatov - he has an excellent technic, he has a big potential player, but to be honest he is not that good, Hernandez has benched him. And all his goal are 'specials' (ie lucky). - And sadly I share the same point as Madmax about Essien..
  12. Best signings : - Van der Vaart - Hernandez - Luiz Worst signings : - Torres - Kolarov - Bebe ps: I don't know if we can really call Joe Cole as one of the worst signings... Liverpool bought him for free. And for a £0 player, he doesn't disappoint nobody lol
  13. ^ Agreed. If we were seeking for a player who would just play every now and then, we would have done better to keep either Ballack, Deco or Cole. We wouldn't have had to pay a fee and we would have a player who were already established in the team, who already knew the manager, etc... To be honest, I think we made a bad mercato. We bought two players we didn't need. Yeah, it's the same think for Ramires, we didn't need his kind of player back then. Granted he became an important player for us. Maybe rumours which say we buy Benyoun in purpose to lure Torres are true.
  14. What's with his haircut ? *he's wondering*
  15. I was watching the game while doing my homeworks, so I didn't watch every single minutes of the game, but I though he was brilliant today. 7 goals in 9 games, it's very good. I guess we can claim that this loan spell is a success ! Such a shame we didn't play him when we were lacking goals !
  16. Yes he did. But he was more involved in the attack and I don't know if you noticed, at times him and Essien were switching their place. We can't have the cake and eat it (not sure of the expression). ^^
  17. Cech - 8 - without him we wouldn't have win. Ivanovic - 6 - he had nothing to do. David Luiz - 6,5 Terry - 6,5 Ashley Cole - 7 Essien - 6 - I hope his injury isn't too serious. Mikel - 8 - My man of the match. Lampard - 7 Kalou - 5 Malouda - 7 Drogba - 7 Torres - 6 Anelka - 5 - just because he made an assist. Benayoun - 6
  18. Agreed on the MOTM. He was instrumental in our victory in my opinion. His passing game was almost perfect (95 succesfull passes out of 104). Though he was caught out of position two or three times, but he was more involved in the attack, he provided some lovely passes (which should have been turned into assists, ie when he passed the ball to Kalou in the box). Good report.
  19. Because he plays like a £1 million player.
