  1. Guys, we're witnessing a domestic dispute.
  2. Yes, in my honest opinion Berbatov is a better player than Hernandez. If the latter man is a hit while Berbatov is a flop, that's because the mexican has the qualities/abilities the team needs, he is complementary to the rest of the team and he forms along with Rooney a great partnership. Hernandez will probably become a better footballer than Berbatov, but for now he isn't. And what I want to expose there, is that the standard/hype does not make a man and what he can achieve. ps: you got it right Henrique.
  3. On the skysports match preview :
  4. Mate, I've already stated this point, so I'll explain it shortly. We don't need a better coach than Carlo, we need a coach with certain abilities. It isn't because we hire a better manager than Ancelotti that he will do a better job, and vice versa. The same goes for players. For instance, Berbatov is better than Hernandez, though it's the bulgarian who's on the bench and it's the mexican who is a hit. Know what I mean ?
  5. Ronaldo has scored 50 or 51 goals so far this term. Don't think Ronaldo is the right exemple here.
  6. It's a big lol, not only we've paid £50m to Liverpool and given him a £180k-a-week wage, but now we 'have' to hire his own therapist or whatsoever. Lol.
  7. No, he didn't have to. Torres buy is just a whim. By the way, we haven't made a bid for neither Aguero, Lukaku or Gomez, just speculations.
  8. How could you claim that Conor Clifford would be the perfect big game player ? And especially against a certain team ?
  9. I wouldn't be over confident. Last year we were on the verge to sign him, but the deal failed at the last moment. And we don't know if Roman Abramovich is willing to spend £35m on him..
  10. Well, he didn't play that much when he was with us.... Actually, I'd say McEachran is the choice by default, as he is the only player who got a real playing time.
  11. Seriously ? It has to be Petr Cech. That's the only player of our squad who didn't let us down. The best goalkeeper of the year. Had not him this season, we wouldn't even have been in Europa League.
  12. If he wants to stay at Santos for whatever reason (because of his baby / or if he wants to win some trophy), or if Santos does not want to sell him right now, then why not make an agreement with Santos, where we would buy him and loan him back ? Beside, I believe that's what we should have done last year...
  13. I do not agree on the fact to play Torres just for a confidence boost. Because if he's gonna play badly, like he did since he joined us, then he won't get any confidence at all... That's why I think we handled him poorly. We should forget his price tag and handle him like any other players. Hence, I believe we should bench him and just give him some playing time when we play well... I mean, just for this season, even if there's just one game left lol.
  14. I didn't mention any name mate. I just said if we want next season to win the UCL, then to keep Carlo would be a good choice, and if we want to somehow do like Barcelona (ie build the team around academy players) then I do no think Carlo is our man. I also think we can't be competitive (at some degree, I mean not a chalenger to win the UCL) and build a team for the furtur with young players. So to do a such a thing imply to make 'sacrifices'... I think it's only Porto board. Porto is well to buy unknow players coming from south America and then sell them expensively, and this for a long time, so I think it has nothing to do with Boas.
  15. ^ Anelka will fuck off to MSL. Kalou is near the exit apparently. Neymar isn't a pur center forward, he plays on the wing in a free role. Drogba is old, if he stays he won't be able to play every games. And if we buy Lukaku, had 5 others center forwards or not, I don't think he will play that much. So, if no one put pressure on the coach to play a certain striker, I don't think there will be any trouble for Danny.
  16. It depends our aims for next season. If they are to win the Champions League, yeah Hoddle is right. But if that's to build a team for the futur, use the academy and gradually to become independant of Abramovich's money, no.
  17. Lukaku is 18 years-old, Sturridge is 21 (22?) years-old. Lukaku won't play regulary in the first team before he is 20 years-old. He won't be a threat for Sturridge.
  18. They must love to spend Abramovich's money ^^
  19. Yeah, that's right, Carlo Ancelotti has done a magnificent job with youth, for instance : - At the start of the season, we had 5 youth suposed to be involved in the first team, the five of them are in loan now because they couldn't get playing time. - We played our third right back as a left back in a friendly game (Marseille), instead of playing PvA. - We played our third right back as CB against the mighty Sunderland. - Even with Malouda and Anelka in poor form, and an ill Drogba, Sturridge couldn't get any playing time. Yeah, that's great.
