For the left wing we can keep either Zhirkov or Malouda for one more year... It might ain't be that bad after all...

Err... The fact we haven't been linked with him and that we want VdW doesn't mean we won't try to get him. First of all, i think we've already been linked with him once or twice. Secondly, we want VdW but it doesn't mean we will get him, and in that case we will have to look somewhere else.

Why ? Ffs, if he doesn't want to come to Europe right now and to play one or two more season in Brazil, can't we just buy him and loan him back to Santos ??!! Or at least a pre-agreement... I see where you're coming from, and I could agree. But in this case it is the better thing to do for both sides. With Drogba, Torres and Sturridge, he will barely get playing time. Furthermore, when Drogba will leave or be on the bench the most of time because of his age, Lukaku will can play a bigger role thanks to his loan spell where he has got EPL or championship exeprience.

If we get him, the better would be to loan him for one season to a championship club or a PL club... He will be sure to have a regular playing time and he could play without the pressure of big teams.

But he isn't a right back, he is a CB, so he sould play in the center. I'ma okay to play him at RB if our RB is injured, but otherwise no ! We need to have a real right back. We have seen this year that to play center players on the wing isn't good.
