  1. He was bought to score goals. But a posteriori he doesn't do that. So he is useless.
  2. Yep. The thing is that he is a bad thing on three aspects : - On a sportif aspect : He doesn't provide goals - which is supossed to be a striker's job - and neither assist or threat on goal. - On a financial aspect : He costs us £180k a week for doing nothing, so this is a big dead weight in our wage structure. - On a media aspect : because of him, media over-analyse each and every one of our games, and he brings hatred and mockery from other teams' fan. Ps : oh, and this way the striker playing instead of him won't anymore get stick from the ladyboy's fanclub.
  3. I am looking forward to the day he will no more be one of our player.
  4. Can't wait to see Torres gone. I am fed up with this talk every time he doesn't play.
  5. Because he is the King, and has THE Master Plan.
  6. Oh cheers. I knew it existed, but didn't see it in the "view new posts" list.
  7. Hum, does someone have a link to download the full game ? Sorry if it has been already posted, but I don't realy want to read the other pages to ain't be spoiled...
  8. Yeah, my midfield would have been Ramires - Romeu - Meireles. I was jsut talking about the formation. Hum, yes and no. There are two options. Either we use the diamond, or we use a 4-3-3 remixed, i.e. a formation with a midfield which works as a classic 4-3-3, but instead of a flat front three we would have a playmaker behind two strikers (like Argentina played in South Africa, if my memory serves my right). I think we should test both.
  9. Yeah, I wasn't even agree with the players in midfield. You got me wrong, I guess.
  10. My point wasn't the players selection, but the formation. Since Sturridge and Drogba are strikers and Mata a n°10... If you know what I mean.
  11. No. Meireles Ramires ---- Lampard Mata Sturridge - Drogba.
  12. For fuck sake, stop panicking and acting like if it was the Apocalypse on earth... We ain't got the divine right to win each and every game. It's everyone's turn. If every fans start acting this way, it will be like pushing the self-destruct button...
  13. By taking this job, André is facing to a big construction work to accomplish. He has inherited a team who, each and every day comes closer to his "death" (ie the old guard). Hence he will have to built a new team and to instil into our club a new philosophy. It will take time. You just have to face the fact we will go through some "bad moment" because of the work which hasn't have been made a long time ago. So accept this fact and chill out, give him time to build his team.
  14. He may not be the greatest of all time currently, but remember he is only 24 years-old...
  15. Yeah, I think it is one of the reason for which he keeps playing Drogba. Because, it is impossible to give to the two strikers exactly the same amount of playing time. For their form it would be catastrophic. A player, to be on form, needs a good run of game. Torres had his run of games earlier this season. Now it's just Drogba's turn.
  16. From now on it has to be Drogba leading our front three*. Even if he is also out of form, he is more usefull, and better, than Torres. Because he can take penalty/freekick/corner, he can play down the center and on the wing (which allows the switching of position), he is good at defending corner/freekick. And imo he has an understanding with everybody in the team, especially with Sturridge... A thing Torres doesn't seem to have. * To be frank I'd rather Sturridge, but for now it is complicated to leave him off the wing.
  17. Stop saying Torres was good against ManU. He was just above average. Had it been Drogba missing those two sitters, we would ask for his head...
