He has signed for Valencia.
-
Yeah. I've already said in one of my posts, that the idea of posting this picture on a newspaper or whatsoever doesn't seem to come from Terry/the club. I was targetting Suarez' case, who has done a meeting to show up an old photograph of him with a dark skinned kid.
-
Yeah, this type of pictures has a strong racist meaning, to my eyes. It is like saying « Look ! I can do it ! I can take a picture with a [enter a colour] ». Like if there was something extraordinary to take a picture with a man of an other color.
-
Ahah, I didn't even know who was this Traoré XD If all the players who have won the World Cup - because they were at the right time at the right moment - were claiming respect... For instance, Stéphen Guivarc'h is a "Wold Cup" winner, lmao.
-
You sucker. The very few minutes you've played during this competition, you were ridiculous.
-
To show a picture of you - when you're accused of being racist - with a dark skinned child is as shameful as to merely be a racist, in my opinion. That's propaganda. Granted for the case of John Terry, the "idea" doesn't seem to come from him, but from some journos. But in Suarez' case... That's disgusting.
-
Not really, Kostas. That was last year, against Arsenal at the Bridge. We were leading two to nil, and then, a bit before the 80th minutes, Alex picked up an injury and we had already made our three substitutions - So Drogba played with Terry for the last 15 minutes remaining. And he was pretty good, to say the least.
-
You didn't get my point, or I misspoke. When I mentioned the ranking of his team, it wasn't to mean that he was a poor defender or whatseover. It was to highlight the fact his team wasn't in a strong position to negociate, hence we should be able to lower the price they ask.
-
Hum... I am bothered with the price... £7m, for an average player coming from a club which is at the bottom of the table, and at the top of that, he has barely 6 months left on his contract... I find him overpriced. It should have been £5m at maximum. Hence I hope he won't earn too much.
-
The only reason I can think of which would explain why we go for Cahill instead of a young up-coming defender, is that he is seeing as a fill-gap in the awaiting that Bruma, Kalas or Chalobah (who are good prospect) is ready to be introduced in the starting eleven.
-
I don't recall who and where, but someone has recently criticized André for the fact four players from the Old Guard are still making the first team, i.e. Ashley, Cech, Terry and Drogba. Peter Cech - Who can complain ? He is one of the best keeper in the world, he is still pretty young for a goal keeper. And, would you rather have Hillario or Turnball between the posts ? John Terry - Who can play instead of him ? Alex, who has since the summer his head out of the club and makes mistake after mistake ? Or perhaps Ivanovic, who clearly looks out of position when playing in the center of the defense. Oh, while we're at it, maybe try Chalobah, who has yet to grown a beard... Didier Drogba - Honestly, would you play this £50 million pound Ladyboy who has left his heart at Anfield ? Lukaku isn't still ready, he is too raw and needs to be polished. Ashley Cole - Okay for this one. We have two young left back who are bound to become pretty good, so we can say the LB spot should be given to a new generation. All in all, with the squad he has at disposal, in my honest opinion he has done well to "get rid" of the old guard.
-
You shouldn't mind him. Otherwise you'll tear your hair out a lot of time.
-
Well, QPR is something special, since we were down to 9 men (and we have outplayed them), so André is not the culprite. And against Arsenal... I don't think he could have changed something to the fact Bosingwa was absymal (-> the brazilian dude's goal), to the fact that Terry has slipped down, and the fact Malouda didn't track back...
-
That's encouragement to alcohol consumption !
-
It was on the same pattern than last year. I.e. they score first, we equalize, then we should win the game 1-2 but we miss an easy chance to do so (last year : Drogba missing the penalty ; Ramires missing his header).
-
If you think we should have achieved way better, then it means that you still don't have realized that our squad is average.
-
Even so, it shouldn't grant Ladyboy a start. Even in his poor form last year, Drogba was better than him.. To be frank, I'd rather start Kalou ahead of him. Firstly because at least he shows some passion, and secondly, because even if he does miss some sitters, he still manages to get some goal here and there, and to create things. The fact he gets just 15 minutes per game, does not excuse him for his poor form at all. Because actually, he doesn't deserve to play more.
-
Yeah, sure, but he usually gets his share of booing in every games.. And at the contrary, I thought the crowd was quite hostile towards Terry, it could have been worse but it was a lot, I found..
-
Is it me, or Cole has actually not been booed ?
-
If he learns how to finish, and have a better ball control / first touch... He could easely becomes a world class player.
-
@ Hd123 : the answer to "why he doesn't run blabla" is simple. He doesn't feel himself as a Chelsea player, he is still on his "merseyside could'.
-
Man City should create their own league. I'm sure they'll soon have enough players to make a second division.
-
I am fully with you on this one. We can't trust this man, we can't. Having him on the team, it's like playing down to ten men. Roman should sell one of his yatchs and splash the money for Hazard. Of course, it is utopic. Though, we really should find a right winger, could it be from the academy or I don't know where, to allow Danni to lead our attacking line during January.
