  1. Not sure. He is a really good coach, but that doesn't mean he can be a good manager. He might be better when in the shadow. But the thing which is sure, is that we should have take him back last year, when we could have. Fuck you Gourlay !
  2. He doesn't play that much with Marseille. Not because he is poor or average, but because he doesn't fit Deschamps' vision. I.e. he is an attacking-minded right back, and the coach wants a big fat right back who only does clearance. However, that doesn't mean he is poor at defending. And don't be worry, he might be attacking-minded player, but unlike Bosingwa he has the qualities to be attacking-minded lol. And it wouldn't be hard to get him, since I think it woul be good for both parties (the players and the club).
  3. Ahah. That's because 'RZA' to me refers to my favorite musician, so it's kinda hard to name some else like this. And to be frank, this isn't because we have Josh McEachran in our team that we shouldn't buy other talented young midfielders.
  4. @ LDN : yeah, I at some point agree with you. I too would rather us to find some unknow gems. But the problem is that we absolutely don't give youth a chance, hence we could find 10 unknow Messi, they still wouldn't play - so it will be useless. If we go for Lucas/Neymar, they would have a big chance to be a big part of our team right after we buy them, because they have already played a lot of games, and just as with Torres, the coach will feel the obligation to play them because we have spent big money on them, therefore they'll have a chance.
  5. Exactly. If he does make it, we will have made a very good bet, if he doesn't cut it we would have at least try. I'd rather one of these two cases, than to see him set the world alight at Barcelona and then say "fuck, we could have signed him...".
  6. It wasn't aimed to Frank. It was aimed to the guy who opened this thread and who has called André a cunt because he didn't thank Frank, and to the guy who has written this joke of an article.
  7. But to know whether he is interested or not by what we offer to him, we must talk to him first. And to talk to him, we must have his club's permission. And to have this permission, we have to make a bid... In the case we have given up with the illegal approaches lol. If he genuinely has the talent that experts are saying, then we shouldn't hesitate to splash those £30m. We have already miss out on Aguero, Pato and Neymar...
  8. Navas has no more his homesickness. Look at what he did at the world cup.
  9. He isn't really the kind of player who is worth to drag negocations for. If he ain't happy with what we give to him, and if he doesn't say yes or no quickly then we should move on and tell him to fuck off. There's a ton of footballers as good as him. Not a loose.
  10. Poor little Frank... He hasn't been thanked for doing his job. Tough life *cry*
  11. But the service won't come. The set of midfielders we have at the moment can't provide this, and we are likely to not buy a good playmaker in January. That's why I've said we should go for a new formation.
  12. If we are to play him, we shouldn't use the 4-3-3 formation. Yesterday he was Anelka-esque by his stats (only three shots in 90 full minutes, and no one on target) and by his style of play (he was never where he should be, i.e. in the box). Hence we should play him with another striker, because it will be a problem if he keeps coming deep and drifting on the wings. Maybe pair him with Sturridge - who him is more looking to go to the goal - and put Mata behind them two to feed them.
  13. Yeah too ! He looks like a punk, but he actually plays like one
  14. Yeah I know it is not his fault for this. Though, I criticize him on his care when he does thing, especially when he picks up a pass. I don't know, I get the feeling he passes like an angry man, it is too dirty, not enough accurate. I think he could easely improve that. Plus, the other thing I criticize him for is his long range shots.
  15. Yeah, there was something unnatural, as if he didn't know what to do.
  16. Not particularly before the halftime. I've brought up this fact to say that some weeks ago he wasn't afraid to make change early on. Now even if it is going wrong, he does nothing. I would have subbed - at the half time - Cole for Bertrand, because he should have been sent off, and the red card was very very near, plus he was mis-controlling and mis-passing every ball. Meireles for Josh, because he was pretty useless. And later on, Bonsingwa for Hutchinson, no need to explain.
  17. Not good enough, despite the win this is really not good enough. Here a few thoughts : - When it comes to creativity, our team must be in the relegation zone. There's no forward thinking in our midfield. The most of our passes seem to be done in side-way or backward, and when our midfields dare to pass forward, they do it when there is no risk. We really need to introduce in the starting XI a player who looks for driving the game forward. We merely can't continue with this midfield, because they aren't even good at defending.. - It seems some of our players don't master the football basis. One hand is enough to count the number of good crosses we had made today. For instance, Bosingwa, Meireles and Ramires are abysmal at this job. Just as for shots on target. We are already creating not a lot of chance, and when we have an opportunity to score we fail to create somethin dangerous. It is the same for set-piece. it looks like we don't have training for this part of the game. We are struggling to defend them, and when they are in our favor, we don't manage to make something out of it, either because the first pass is really bad, or because the finishing is embarassing. - What the hell is going on with the youth ? Untill this day, I think that André has always used his three substitutions. Today we have a bench full of youth, he has made only one. I don't not think it is an accident... - Once again, we are witnessing to the fact that this squad doesn't have neither enough quality, nor enough players. Yes, because when your winger gets injured you're forced to play a defensive midfielder on the wing... And I can't believe Cole is still playing. Plus, Bosingwa doesn't even deserve to play for our reserve. It may be a win, but this game leaves the taste of another pathetic draw in my mouth.
  18. Where has disappeared the man who wasn't afraid to sub a player in the first half because he was bad ?
  19. Come back when you'll be able to write in a proper english, you inbreed.
  20. Well, I guess it is a matter of opinion. But, his passing game is so dirty, he seems to throw the ball randomly. Just like his cross towards the end of the game, he seems to put no care in what he is doing.
