We have Bosingwa anyway, so what's the problem ?
-
Yeah, I am pretty sure that's it. The few months where he was great, it was when he had his dreads. Strenght is in the hair.
-
Fuck me. I guess it's a farewell...
-
Is it me, or since he cut his dreads/long hair he has become very poor and a cunt as well ?
-
Yes, He only tries.

^ He runs.

@ LDN : To my mind, Essien being a part of our starting XI this season is out of question. Even if he manages to find a form similar to his old self (not his self of last season of course). We shouldn't consider this option for the mere reason we are meant to be in a transitional season, and Essien is 30 years-old next year, so we should focus ourselves to play players who will have a long term role at our club. At the moment, our formation is a 4-3-3 and I don't think we'll change that any time soon (at least not this year). So, there are three spots where Essien could play. The first one, is the holding midfielder spot. At the moment, this spot is occuped by Romeu, who - despite the risk of him returning to Barça - is a long term choice for playing this role (add to that the fact he is doing pretty well at the moment). The second one is the right midfielder spot. That's where Ramires plays. At the moment, Ramires is by far our best midfielder. Plus we have seen the influnce he has on our game when you compare our midfield with him and without him, that's the day and the night. Games after games he seems to be more influential, and somehow he is now the boss of the midfield. Furthermore, just as Romeu, he is also a choice for the long term. Therefore, we shouldn't break his dynamic by benching him at the favor of Essien. Which leaves us with the third and last spot, the left midfielder spot. This is a non-starter. Even though Lampard is far away to be great, we have to start him otherwise a midfield Essien - Romeu - Ramires would be dramatically way too much negative and uncreative. To conclude, he could be a good choice to rotate the squad and thus to give a rest to our starters, but he shouldn't be considered by any means a part of the starting XI. And we should sell him in the summer while we still can get some money out of him and before we have to amputate his two legs.

He will play tonight (20:00 in UK) on the left wing against Marseille, at Le Vélodrome. If anyone is interested, here the link : http://www.firstrow....-lille-osc.html

Ahah, the game wasn't being televised. Alcohol has damaged your brain cells deeper than you thought at first

Did you even watch the game (the replay) ?

Actually people, I don't think at all he has a buy-out clause. Apologize if I used this term, it was a misuse of langage. Lille are just hoping to get €40m from his sale. « Le club qui le voudra devra arriver avec les poches pleines car il ne partira pas pour moins de 40 millions d’euros. » "The club who will want him will have to come with the pocket full of dough because he won't leave for less than 40 millions euro."
-
In a wishful dream yes, but realistically his better place is on the bench, since I can't see him leave before the summer.
-
It would be catastrophic. He can't cross to save his life and he isn't able to beat his opponent. Which is really anoying for a winger. The best position for him at the moment, it's the righ side of the bench.

Champions League contenders ? There's still a long way to go to be able to rivalize with Barcelona and Madrid. Outsiders, yes, but contenders, no way.
-
As he is a Chelsea player now, I'll wish him good luck. But he'd better to be very good considering his wage.

What a nice sight it would be

Why not ? If when this concept will be available, our team plays in a way as boring as nowadays, then you'll probably be happy to fiddle your mouse to spend time. Lol.

It was a better game than what we have seen for the last month, though it isn't still good enough. It was an average and boring performance, and we have been lucky to come out with the three points, Sunderland could have easely equalised (and rightly so). At no moment in the game I had the feeling that we were head and shoulders above our opponent. We sure had the best possession, although it was most of the time a sterile possession, we were mainly doing side pass and back pass, without ever creating a real threat on their goal for few minutes in a row. The tempo was quite slow, and it never seemed we could raise it dramatically. Even though we have get an early goal, once again we have started the game in a slow way (as if it was a training), and once again we seem to be more than likely to concede a goal in the ten last minutes. To sum up, it was once again an uninspired performance. Some thoughts on individual performances. Mata was looking really tired. It is a necessity to find a creative player to allow him to get a well deserved rest, otherwise we'll have to keep playing him and it won't do any good neither for the team nor for himself. We should never play again Ramires on the wing. At the exception of the pace and the speed, he hasn't the abilities to play there. Furthermore, he seems to have the tendency to come back in the midfield, so our right wing is often abandonned. Plus, he is at the moment our best midfielder, and without him the midfield is disfunctional, so he should be played here and only here. Luiz was very good and has saved/intercepted a lots of balls, it is a shame that people only focus on only one mistake. Meireles, what can I say... Really a poor game. He has made a lots of mistakes, a lots of mis-controls and bad passes. He was also poor in defense. Essien, I am happy to see him anew, I liked his movements, and the lack of fitness was noticable. I'll wait a few games to judge him.
-
Hum, he is not as good as medias (especially the french) are saying he is. That being said, he is still pretty good, he is since one year / one and an a half year one of the best player of La Ligue 1, and he is the best young player for some years now. If you ask me, at the moment he doesn't worth €40m, and if you think he will come and be one of the best player in the league right away, you are mistaking. He obviously won't revolutionize our team in a blink of eye, because he is still quite young. Although, he is really promising, and when you see him play you can easely see that this kid has gold in his feet. He is a really good dribbler, he has a good vision, he is a good passer, and he can unlock a defense. He has a real talent, and in the coming years he will become a top player. Hence €40m wouldn't be too expensive considering how good he can become and how many good things he can give us.

Terry (and Cole) have made more mistakes than Luiz.
-
Bosingwa + Meireles = a cocktail which gives you shivering and frights.

Stop disrespect André.
