  1. Wigan away a couple of weeks later will cost around the same, I know which one I'd prefer.
  2. Aidan Sweeney ‏@aidansweeney_ The last time Arsenal won a trophy, twitter hadn't been invented yet. Retweeted by Agent007ITK This tweet made me LOL.
  3. David Luiz has been called up to represent Brazil at the London Olympics as one of the three players in the squad over the age of 23. The 25-year-old will join up with his teammates in Brazil on 9 July for training, before they fly to England to take on Great Britain in a pre-tournament warm-up game at Middlesbrough's Riverside Stadium on 20 July. The Olympic football competition is scheduled to run from 26 July until 11 August, with the new Barclays Premier League campaign starting a week later. http://www.chelseafc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10268~2822566,00.html
  4. Sunderland away, non-profit sponsor.
  5. Drogba's goal and penalty gave me goosebumps and shivers for the first time yesterday. The same way Franks goals at Bolton always do. Hasn't sunk in at all yet.
  6. Craig Burley is a cock. Simple as. Though, who cares that they're talking about us this way? We're European Champions, the last laugh is ours.
  7. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/euro2012/4363728/Joey-Barton-Im-good-enough-for-England.html Barton reckons he should be in the England squad. Again. Sigh, piss off you twat.
  8. I dont know if this has been mentioned in the topic yet, but abola have reported that Porto are interested in signing Luiz Adriano from Shakhtar to replace Hulk.
  9. Bout to watch the whole game back again, recorded on my Sky+. If anyone accidently ever deletes this off my Sky+ box then.....
  10. I want to see the actual shade of blue. Impossible to tell from the pictures really. If its like it is here, then I love the kit. In the Luiz promo pic though, the blue looks far brighter, and not good at all.
  11. Its a trophy, and I'm glad the club want to win it. I'm not at all surprised by this, most other clubs would come to the same decision.
  12. Some new training kits also on the megastore website today. I actually really like the away kit. Simple and clean.
  13. Last four transfer windows: 1. Ramires - £18m 2. Torres/Luiz - £75m 3. Mata - £23m 4. Hazard - £32m We're so spoilt.
  14. Chelsea had been regularly linked with a move for Hazard over previous months, along with other major European clubs who had scouted the youngster extensively, but with the Blues' disappointing league form during the 2011-12 season increasing the likelihood that they would miss out on Champions League qualification as the season drew to a close, the media reported that Hazard had narrowed his options down to the two major Manchester clubs, with the opportunity to play in Europe's premier competition seen as a pre-requisite. However after Chelsea won the 2012 UEFA Champions League they secured entry into the following season's tournament, and reports emerged from France that Hazard was once again considering a move to Stamford Bridge. On 28 May 2012 Hazard announced on Twitter that he would be signing for the "Champions League winner". Joining for a reported fee of £32 million, the signing was confirmed by Chelsea on 4 June after the Belgian completed his medical. Upon signing Hazard stated "It's a dream come true for me. I can't wait to get started and for the season to start so I can meet my new team-mates, the supporters and all the people who are involved. I want to play as many games as possible, score as many goals as possible and win a place in the hearts of the supporters." He commented that his decision to move to Stamford Bridge was due to a variety of factors, including the opportunity to live in London, to be part of a young, emerging Chelsea side, and to play for a club which continued to win silverware after years of success: "Ultimately, for a player it's all about winning things; I want to win as many trophies as possible, which is another reason why I came here as Chelsea have been winning things for a long time now, and I hope to win many more during my time here." Hazard also revealed that former Chelsea player Joe Cole a team-mate at Lille had recommended a move to Chelsea: "I spoke to Joe Cole and what he said above all was that Chelsea was the right club for me. As somebody who loves the club himself, he said he could really see me in the shirt, so when I see him next I'll tell him he was right." Click here to view the record
  15. Gutted for Gary. Martin Kelly called up. This squad really is becoming desperation stuff.
  16. The press conference would more than likely be during the tour of the US. Thats the way we've done it for the last few years. But yes, as always, Chelsea TV will have the first interview with him. The last time I remember us having an immediate press conference to unveil a transfer was the double signing of Veron and Joe Cole.
  17. Like I say, you don't need to believe me. He could be wrong. He never has been before, though.
  18. I'm still being told it'll be a few days. Why? I dont know. Alot of these journos have said other days the past week too and been wrong. Dont start getting excited about them.
  19. Common sense. We don't even have a manager at the moment, the chance of a press conference is zero.
  20. Really tempted to lock this badboy until theres some actual news on the topic.
