MikeDance reacted to Special Juan in Chelsea 1-3 Brighton
Discipline record is pathetic...I switched the game on just after we went down to ten, and it was all Brighton, and then turned to my son and said 'it's game over'
Weak mentality and a team full of fucking big babies

Another coach may not panic every time we get a red card and take off all the attacking options.
First at United, taking off two attacking players in the first 20 minutes. Then against Brighton throwing on Gusto, Lavia, Josh.
You don't beat a team like Brighton by throwing on "defensive" players and trying to soak up pressure.

True the stupid board said they stand behind Sanchez, I can’t understand why they don’t hire a decent goalkeeper and send him to their main club. They don’t care about Chelsea.

players play for wages not for trophies.
once they stop with these moronic mistakes every game, then i will maybe feel bad for them.

Boards don't take responsibility for what they do they take a knife to the man who is in charge but fail to remember they never backed him correctly
Marseca is useless, but the board are fucking worse

MikeDance reacted to Mário César in Chelsea 1-3 Brighton
I read a text by Vince quoting Matt Law, and it said that the board preferred not to fight for the title yet, but to first try to build a group of players to compete in the medium- to long-term.
But is everyone crazy? How long are we going to listen to this excuse? Chelsea finished 3rd under Tuchel. So, we have a 12th-place finish, a 6th-place finish, a 4th-place finish, and we'll most likely miss the top four this season.
The players won't want to wait that long. This is just pulling the wool over the fans' eyes.
I'm sick of this.

Because they decided they not to invest in defense, but spend again on attackers.
What's the point when we need it to fix defense first?
It's their fault that two games in a role defense let us down. They need to take responsability for that.

If we bought this cunt he wouldn't score another goal in his life
Honestly I couldn't care less anymore with this lot, they are absolute shite
Mid table players, mid table board and mid table mind set......fuck off

Just want to bring some perspective to yesterday's goings on....We knew the window was short and what annoyed me the most was the fact the deals/players we were going for were not 70/80M players, they were players who both wanted to come here, had relatively low values based on the current market and we still couldn't get it done. Right, so I hear the window opens Monday again..so does that mean our targets are going to go from Gittens and Maignan to Donnuruma and Williams? Not a fucking chance, we went low for players and will remain at that price level and that player level, the pattern over the last two seasons tell you all you need to know.
I'm hearing and reading I maybe unrealistic....nah I have been around Chelsea since the mid 80's, seen the bad times, seen the better times, seen the incredible times and seen the decline again, but what was the most stand out thing about all the times I have supported and followed the club is we always, always had a smattering of young but with experience wrapped around it, whether it be the mid 80's or 2025 you need this, and this is what this board are not getting. An arm round a shoulder is as key as a bit of flair skill, a low moment was where players were judged, where leaders and figure heads came in..years ago it was Bumpstead, Speedie, the baton was then passed to the Zola's and Poyet's, then we had the Terry's and Carvalho's, Coles and Lampards, these were your leaders and the ones that took things on the chin and galvanized the group.
What we are seeing now is Tosin and Bettinelli's (gone) spoken about being the leaders and the characters in the changing room...nah fucking nah, we have a captain that is injured all the time, a dud keeper, mis mash centre backs, wingers that don't work anywhere near as hard as they should and meant to be flair players but offer fuck all and still years on pining for a striker we still have not got. Drogba passed the baton but it was dropped a million times between Torres, Morata, Higuain.. picked up by Giroud, dropped again between Lukaku and so on and so on without any order, Drogba and Hasslebaink with a smattering of Gudjohnsen to add flair.....
The point Im trying to make is sign experience, do not cut corners, do not discard experience and this club deserves to have these calibre of signings which is why I am not having these owners and SD's one bit, they have no clue what they are doing and the direction is non existent. What we seen and witnessed yesterday was shambolic, whether it be only for a few days until the window opens again, this was about, and lets solely focus on the keeper for one second, an experienced and very good shot stopper for a car boot price, someone the manager wanted, forget the briefs, he wanted him because he plays well with his feet and we went in for him with a reason, we failed, we failed the manager because the club is obsessed with penny pinching, yet the graphs and data tell you we are way above the PSR curve, with ease.
The direction is rotten, the outlook is rotten, the club has lost it's way, I love Chelsea always will but the faith is slowly draining from me because the people in charge are a disgrace.
Seen the good seen the bad, this is really bad, but always Chels

City have had the exact sort of surgically precise week we were sold on us having leading into the CWC. They had clearly identified all their targets some time ago and went out and got each one of them with little to no drama or drawn out sagas. Cherki, Reijnders, Ait Nori in the span of 1 week. Following them doing similar in January.
Now their new team gets to gel and train together all summer and can hit the ground knowing exactly what Pep wants from them once the PL starts. Meanwhile, our club is penny pinching and gaslighting the fanbase.

Liverpool and ManCity have spent over 500 millions on new players and we don't even want to spend 20 million on a world-class goalkeeper.
WTF is this?

He had a few good games towards the end of the season. Are we just going to casually forget he had the most unforced errors in the league… wasn’t it something in the region of 14!!! Are we going to casually forget his constant flapping at corners when trying to claim the ball, his ridiculous decision making with the ball at his feet, his weird sprints out of the box to be caught in no mans land???
He was Brightons 3rd choice GK before we got him for a reason.
Petrovic improved massively at Strasbourg and yea, it could have been a one off season but I’m far more prepared to give him a go than watch that absolute fraud of a GK Sanchez get another season in a Chelsea shirt.

probably the worst, most dishonest clickbait in my 7 plus years here on TC:
Alex Oakhill deserves a bovver boot to the jacobs
https://www.footballinsider247.com/reece-james-bids-emotional-farewell-after-confirmed-Chelsea-exit/
snip
and again:
but here, FAR down, way deep into the article, is the catch:
On Tuesday, James was forced to bid farewell to one of his closest friends at Chelsea, after it was confirmed that Marcus Bettinelli has joined Manchester City.
Taking to Instagram, the defender paid tribute to his friend, posting a photo of the pair together with the caption: “Thank you for all the memories big bro!
“Through every setback, every injury, you were always there to lift me up when I felt like I had nothing left.
“You’ve been more than a teammate, you’ve been a brother from the day you arrived.
“It’s tough to see you go, but I’m forever grateful for everything you’ve done for me and my career.”
fucking cunts 🤬

Not sure I can take another season of Sanchez in goal
Everytime he passes the ball out from the back I get that feeling you feel when you hear the dentist’s drill start up! 😱

What I mean is the manager wants them so you’d think the club would push a bit beyond what they initially intended to to reward Maresca for achieving his goals this last season. If he wanted Maignan and the only intended to go to £12.5m, would it have really been a big deal to go to £20m?
It just seems like insane logic having seen what they’ve spent on complete rando’s for years now. For literal kids aged 17 or 18 they’re willing to pay whatever is necessary even if that’s £40m+ yet for one the premier keepers who is also a leader in the squad which we badly need, we blow up the deal that would’ve been cheaper than what we paid for Sanchez.

because they are SHIT
no way to spin it otherwise
ALL (except perhaps Penders) are marginal at best
adjusted for inflation (counting Kepa)
we have spent 252m euros on keepers counting Kepa onward
and have fuckall to show for it (other than 1 year wonder Mendy)

City got Cherki for £35m 😂
That club knows how to do business.
Why are we soo inept?
When will this nightmare end.
