  1. Apparently we are Adidas' biggest replica shirt sellers, ahead of Liverpool and Real Madrid. No wonder they've agreed to be tied down for 8 more years!
  2. Happy to see the re-emergence of sides like Napoli. They were bankrupt and in awful shape just about 5 years ago and it's good to see them back in the Serie A and standing up to the big boys.
  3. Ofcourse. I agree with you. All I wanted to say was that 'poor attitude' remark was a bit harsh on the other guy.
  4. Goal line technology is a must imo. It's just not fair that a goal can be chalked off only because the ref or his assistant couldn't see it. Penalties I agree should be left to the ref and his supporting officials. But I do honestly feel that technology can be used to determine offsides. Every week we see inconsistent refereeing regarding the offside rule and it just spoils the game because then even the fans become unsure of what exactly is deemed to be offside, and what is not. As BlueLion said, a referral system would be nice, especially for goals which include a debatable offside decision. Surely 2 referrals a side isn't going to interfere with the flow of the game. It's better than having goals allowed/disallowed for refereeing errors. But it's wishful thinking, as long as this guy remains where he is.
  5. The manager would have a hard time asking them to maintain their shape ...
  6. Hope we shut Big Sam up. The guy makes me nauseous everytime he picks up a mic.
  7. No need for that. It's his opinion.
  8. He's been injured unfortunately and hasn't featured as yet. Out for another month atleast. Such a shame because I was really looking forward to seeing him play alongside Vucinic.
  9. I'm happy Borriello moved to Roma, I think he's going to be immense linking up with the likes of Totti, Vucinic and Adriano. Will be interesting to see how Claudio uses him because Roma have this tendency of switching to strikerless formations.
  10. Milan's best signing has been Kevin Prince Boateng. The manager is a real idiot for not playing him every game. Their midfield has no pace or physicality at all and even then he sits this guy on the bench though he is exactly what they need. Flamini is a dud, Seedorf really shouldn't be playing anymore, his legs are gone. Gattuso huffs and puffs and gives it his all but age is catching up with him.
  11. Always liked Roma. Even more so after Claudio moved there. Follow Milan's results as well. Shame they had to go for Ibrahimovic and make themselves eminently less likable.
  12. That guy is a thug. What Houllier saw in him, I don't know. Probably the little dance around the corner flag in the France game at the 2002 WC.
  13. I opened your sig image on a different tab in both Chrome and IE 8 and the only text I can see is the 'Ashley Cole' in the bottom left corner. But I can also see that text on your sig ...
  14. Ivan was MOTM for me today. He was excellent, very composed and assured and often bailed us out when JT and Ash were caught out of position.
  15. Really sloppy performance and not at all happy with it, especially Drogba. He looked a bit too smug and over-confident out there. But hey 3 points in the bag so can't complain about the result. Need to pick up massively because Ewood Park will be tough as nails.
  16. Anelka is doing a fine job right now, him cutting inside gives room for the right back to bomb forward and put crosses in. This hasn't been exploited too much the past year because of Bosingwa's absence, but it will be now. Yes our left side is better, but then I'm happy with us playing to our strengths and let's face it, with Cole-Lampard-Malouda on that side, it is going to be the place where most of the action takes place. I think I'm happy with our right wing. We have a lot of options which can be made use of. Anelka's pace, Kalou's direct running and trickery and Sturridge cutting inside. Take your pick really.
  17. Borini's second and fifth stand out for me. Also, top class pass by Adam Philip to set up the fourth. Can you tell me more about Philip Esk?
  18. This is so unfair to the fans who've spent their lives supporting this club. Just shows you how careful one has to be while deciding the club's ownership.
  19. RIP. He would be so proud of the club and where we are today. And he'll never be forgotten because as long as CFC exists, proud Blues will be able to watch the team play from the Matthew Harding Stand ...
