  1. If his wages are around the ~65k p/w mark, we won't suffer any extra FFP hit over Schurrle's current £7.9m (assuming it is Schurrle who's leaving). Going by our excellent financial track record with recent squad role signings though, I'd wager he'll make much below that.
  2. Eh I don't know, he's actually anticipating the shot to be on his right and is going down that way before readjusting himself brilliantly and flinging the boot out. Besides, it's not as central as you think although the height is simpler to deal with.
  3. You'd think if there was any truth to this, there'd be a better source than some 'journalist' dude with 1100 followers reporting it.
  4. Costa or no Costa, who wants to bet he'll get no more than 10 minutes off the bench, if that?
  5. Yer something along those lines ... I remember reading all this around the time we got Costa
  6. Is 'activating' the release clause the same as paying the clause amount or does it further attract additional taxes on top? I know that paying the release clause for someone registered in Spain will also obligate you to an additional 40% tax ... what's the case in Italy?
  7. Nice, one more for Paddy B to knock out.
  8. I have two. Moreno : http://gfycat.com/EllipticalCreamyElk Coutinho : http://gfycat.com/ImpeccableApprehensiveJumpingbean He had absolutely no right to save the one from Coutinho.
  9. He's such an enigma with his passing - sometimes he consistently fails to make the most routine ones and on other occasions he can lay on absolute peaches, like the one with the outside of his right foot perfectly weighted into the path of Hazard sometime in the 2nd half.
  10. No way he sits out City because the game's in 3 days. Assuming he even gets the decision, we'll appeal and that'll free him up for Sunday.
  11. How will he cost us the title? There'd be no title race to speak of without his goals. 17 - let that number sink in for a minute; it's not even Feb yet! Well on the way to 25 league goals I predicted at the start of the season.
  12. Enjoy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvDHc3UE5MM&feature=youtu.be
  13. What a disgusting man. Horrible. Vile. I love him.
  14. Ref bottled one stonewall penalty (and a borderline one) in addition to what should've been two definite sendings off (Lucas and Henderson), but let's make this all about Costa, shall we? I LOVEEEED the skinhead cunt Skrtel prancing about all game like he's some hard motherfucker and then dozing off to leave everyone onside on the one occasion he had to actually defend. Oh, and scouse tears? MOAR!
  15. There's probably going to be some silly stuff written around these parts and I'm better off not reading it. Time to crack open a couple of beers and then hit the sack. See you lot on Tuesday!
  16. What a bizarre fucking post ... and I've been seeing them ever since it became 2-2. Curiously this line of thinking wasn't being articulated in the first half when as per the Liquidator's eyewitness account from the ground Zouma was exceptional and Christensen solid. Nevertheless, because I respect you too much as a poster and as a friend, you'll only need to look at the City game to know what youth can do ... Patrick Bamford 1 goal, 1 assist.
  17. lol City fans chanting "Champions of England, we know what we are" ... get your own fucking chants and your own fucking legends.
  18. A rolling stone gathers no moss.
  19. But I thought Van Gaal was a genius and the inventor of modern football as we know it?
  20. Excellent solution for all concerned. For him it was imperative to move because it's clear that the manager simply doesn't trust or rate him for whatever reason. We get to find a space for Cuadrado who presumably is seen as someone that will actually threaten for a starting berth. Tidy business financially as well - no wages for the rest of the season, a loan fee and another £11m in the summer - we're actually going to make a profit on the guy. The benefits of buying low and buying young. Good luck to him; I hope he has a fruitful time in Rome.

  22. Congratulations and go well, mate.
