I just don't enjoy knockout Champions League nights anymore. We play awful at both ends of the pitch, rely almost entirely on lucky breaks/set pieces as soon as we come up against anyone half decent and go out anyway.

Here's a pop quiz for you - select the most awful aspect of that game - Costa's hold up play, the ref's performance or our set pieces. Repeat performance like that at the Bridge and we go out.

To be fair, he was really profligate against Sporting away and should have bagged a hatful.

So like Bir CFC said above, if performances are what he's talking about, would he be kind and honest enough to return his winner's medal from last year considering that they were comfortably out-performed by us twice in a season they won the league? Bottom line is he's talking shit and there's no rationale for it ... I would've hoped everyone here atleast can see through that.

Chelsea has 18 points from those; scored 20 conceded 12. Special enough.
