What if Carlo says all the right things to instill hunger and desire and the players just turn a deaf ear to it. You have to realise that the players can be at fault to when it comes too self motivation and all that. Does Drogba, Lampard, Terry, Cech really need Carlo to tell them "Hey guys important game, must win. So run around and look arsed about it all"? But yeah, blaming one guy is easier than blaming 11.
