  1. Why the fuck is this on a Monday? :S
  2. Very good read, good job remembering all the match incidents Tbh I'm not happy with the performance, but glad for the result. Drogba once again was shocking. He only sparked into life once we had the 2 goal lead. We had a lot to thank for re Ivanovic before today and now he's just given us more reasons. Another great performance from Ramires though, the lad is really making people eat their early season words. Cech - 6 Bosingwa - 7.5, Ivan - 8.5, JT - 8, Cole - 7 Essien - 6.5 Ramires - 8.5, Lampard - 6.5 Anelka - 6.5, Drogba - 3, Malouda - 7
  3. Love how LDN ignores two quotes in a row from me
  4. I'm convinced he said that stuff before the match (about giving chances to Josh and Studge) just to threaten Essien and Drogba about them being dropped. Didn't work with Drogba though
  5. Right because i'm only interested in proving my point I do think though that we lack creativity in set piece situations. When it's a freekick outside the box you know it's going to be Drogba looking to sidefoot it with power. When it's a corner you know it's going to be Lampard/Malouda looking for a near post flick-on.
  6. Why do the 'stop this' pleas only appear after my posts then?
  7. We've got two now to talk about The first today was entirely down to JT's flick on. Horrible initial cross from Malouda (again). We were lucky nobody tracked Terry while he peeled away for the first header. The second saw better delivery and hence Ivanovic's ability could shine. Sums up what I've been saying all along - our failings with corners have more to do with the delivery (the lack thereof) than anything else.
  8. Yet another horrible performance by Drogba. He was invisible for 80 mins and then after we got 2 all of a sudden he starts popping up here and there. Terrible 'leader'. He needs to be benched to show him his place. Too bad Carlo isn't brave enough to do it.
  9. True. But people talk as if it's entirely my fault while disregarding who initiated this thing.
  10. Who're you to call anyone 'scum' as long as all they're doing is supporting a player? You were a 'blind' Kakuta follower last year (maybe you still are). Wouldn't appreciate being called 'scum' for it, would you? You'd go and open threads about it. tx strategy : Bait someone by insulting them - wait for a response - cry foul about alleged ostracisation - open a thread about it.
  11. I never insulted you before you went around calling people scum. If you want to dish it out, be man enough to take it once it's thrown back at you. Nice attempt at playing the victim there though. Lol why should I forward those posts to you? I'm here to use the threads, not PM.
  12. Since you appear stoned, I'll tell you what you need to do. Go over to the Chelsea v Ipswich thread, look at the questions I asked you, give me a fucking answer and then come back here. You were the one who shied away from a perfectly legitimate, respectful debate last time out. Oh that's right, you had to run and get some weed.
  13. ^ WTF stop plugging your Facebook page!
  14. Ah well, another one of Spurs 15 centre midfielders then. Yep, lots of playing time there.
  15. In fairness we're all only moderate Kalou supporters, just like we're all only moderate supporters for every CFC player. We support the club, not a particular player/players. Like I've said in the past, Kalou should be moved on in the summer. But until that happens, I'm not going to take it lying down if people mock him for scoring goals or even when he's doing better than the bigger star players. Or when I'm called scum for trying to stand up for a player when in fairness he's done well in the previous matches. We really shouldn't be surprised anymore, should we? Not when it comes to Kalou atleast
  16. Carlo can stay stuff for a million different reasons lol, his words need to be taken with a pinch of salt. The club are very much interested in him judging by the newspaper reports that have been linked here. The only reason it won't go ahead is because of disagreement re personal terms. Anyway, que sera sera
  17. For some reason you're getting hyper against me - chill out. Re your 'pro', you need to realise that if Pienaar signs, he'll be a stopgap - there to fill in when Lampard is injured (which he is likely to be more often, judging by his words regarding his tendon and the constant care that it needs) or when he is rested (which will also happen more often, considering he is 34). In 2 years Josh will be ready to take over what Lampard does for the team. In the meantime, so that he is not pressurized too much, it is ideal if we have a late 20s creative, hardworking midfielder who can fill in for Lamps. For 3 mil, Pienaar fits the bill perfectly. So to sum up then - Pros 1. In the age gap the club lacks players in (20s to 30s) 2. 3 million 3. Squad player but handy replacement for Lampard in the short term 4. Hard working, links the defence and attack 5. Creative, scores goals. 6. The entire team can't be made of superstars - you need good if not remarkable players as well. Look at Citeh. Cons None - and yes I believe that, it's not meant as a windup. We could do worse than a 3 mil Pienaar.
  18. Why not? Let's list out the pros and the cons and then we'll see.
