  1. Chances of this happening during the match then : :lolwave:
  2. Stalk Nicola, she'll lead you to all the players, even those from Liverpool - she loves them!
  3. Breaking news says Franco Baresi is being sought after for next season....
  4. I know...weren't there violent clashes between united and chelsea supporters somewhere in Africa after the CL final? Few people got killed. This is madness ... football isn't worth something to die over.
  5. What is the fascination with magnetic pink on football shirts? Everton away last year, Copenhagen away this year, Bordeaux third next year... they're horrible!
  6. I wouldn't hesitate to play Josh behind the strikers once he fills out a bit. At this moment he's not physically capable of facing the harsh challenges he'd face in that position.
  7. Where's Torres? And if there's one thing we should've learnt from watching Studge at Bolton, it's that he's a striker, not a winger.
  8. Martin Lipton is a class A wanker. He is one of the most anti-Chelsea hacks you're likely to come across and makes the Mirror the bog roll that it is. I'm surprised we gave the twat the honour of appearing on Chelsea TV.
  9. Stop this Mourinho thing. He won't leave Madrid till he wins everything there is to win with them. And snap out of the past ffs. Mourinho is history. We are like those broken lovers who can;t accept the fact that the other person has moved on. Disgraceful.
  10. UFFP aren't a great concern in respect of transfer prices themselves, as player costs are amortized over the player's contract length. What it does affect though is the wage packets, not more than 70% of our revenue should be exceeded by player wages and currently I think we are in the mid 80s range (before Luiz and Torres). So I expect a couple of big earners like Drogba and Anelka to leave while bringing in young rising stars who might command a relatively high transfer fee but will be easy on the part that pinches- wages.
  11. My my ... the single most perfect player out there to solve our wing and creativity problems. Sounds too good to be true.
  12. Exactly. It's time to bury the past. We're sounding like Liverpool ffs.
  13. ^ That says it all. I follow Dortmund and this guy is fucking mint. I'd take him in a heartbeat, even more so at that price. Please let this be true!
  14. Nobody. I have no interest in this dodgy league till next year, when the mighty Blues gear up for one more shot at it.
  15. C'mon do you really think Roman would allow such open negative press for his buddy Grant? The man got appointed due to his connections with Roman, and his basic job was to be the board's eyes and ears in the dressing room. It's the biggest reason Mourinho walked. Sporting director roles are nothing but trouble, no manager can work securely without constantly looking over his shoulder if there's one of them at the club.
  16. We've been over all that though haven't we mate ... time and time again. I feel like everyone is going around in circles saying the same stuff we've been saying most of the season. IMO all the things that have gone wrong can be attributed to a multitude of factors and to lay the blame squarely upon Carlo, like some have, is doing him great injustice. I'd give him one last season to right the wrongs i.e. stop being a yes-man, break up player power, get his own staff (playing and non-playing) in. We need big changes for sure but getting rid of him this early isn't good.
  17. Absolutely, but just pointing out how he did manipulate the referees to his advantage.
  18. Grant knows absolute sweet fuck all about football. He could hardly believe his luck when Mourinho's team took him to within an inch of being a Champions League winning manager. IMO we shouldn't even have a Sporting Director role. Those important sounding posts are nothing but a means to undermine the manager, eg. Grant-Mourinho. Give the manager full authority without any interferences and then we can properly judge his performance.
  19. The refereeing swayed in united's favour the moment the gum chewing scot started his 'we don't get decisions at the bridge' bollocks before the first leg. Blatant penalty on ramires and red card for evra ignored, dickarito diving for the freekick that ultimately led to their first goal last night, ramires sent off without even touching nani ... hate to say it, but the drunk scot is a master media manipulator.
  20. You answered it yourself. Because they're movies.
