Oh my god. Are we seriously calling fans 'plastic' because Lampard's disrespected the management this season?
Call a dog a dog. Lampard is a legend prior to this season, but the fact is, he's acted like a c'nt. To deny so, is putting the man above the club. I respect Lampard, I won't forget the great years he's given us.. But he absolutely deserves to be slated this season.
We're not 'plastic', we're 'realistic'.

Closed doors? It was happening out in the open, Frank made sure of that after the game against wolves and with his "not ideal" comments. It does not take two to figure out that he stopped working for the manager long before he got sacked.

RVP is Arsenal's top scorer. He is also their best player.
Lampard is our (joint) top scorer. He has been one of our most inconsistent, and at times worst players this season.
Scoring goals is only half of what it takes to be a great midfielder. You need to be a commanding presence, and Lampard is no longer that. Ergo he is no longer a great midfielder, merely a good one, and an ageing one at that.

If Torres goes the rest of the season without scoring a goal I think he should voluntarily terminate his contract. He's gone 1298 mins on the pitch without a goal, in fact he has watched players like Ramires, Sturridge and Mata create and finish their own chances time and time again. I can already see that Mata has given up on him, when Mata first arrived he was trying to put everything on a plate for Torres but now he's just took a leaf from Sturridge's book and he's bypassing Torres.

Indeed. Imo, Frank committed 'professional suicide' when he decided to throw a strop when Andrรฉ dropped him. Correct me if I'm wrong, but last season a majority of people here said the next manager should have the balls to drop the likes of Lampard & co. Now it's happened most of the same people are backtracking on their words.
The fact is, even when Lampard does come on he's a liability. When he came on in Naples he almost cost us a 4th goal. His first touch is catastrophic, his instincts are shot, and while he'll always remain a threat for those last minute goals, some are often blinded by that and claim he deserves to start because of those. He's not as sharp as he used to be and his unwillingness not to accept that is become detrimental to the squad.
It's a shame, Frank's the last person I'd expect to be causing commotion.
