  1. Hello there Marseille! It's always nice to see other fans on this forum, helps us grow and interact with other fans a lot! The return match will much anticipated because I'm sure Didier Drogba is aching to return to the Velodrome
  2. There is only one Ronaldo... The rest are Cristiano's.
  3. A win's a win. Now that's out the way, bring on the Goons!
  4. bit of a boring half really. We're losing a bit of the 'flair' we have usually..
  5. I really really hope Zhirkov isn't told to play in central midfield
  6. Guys don't get me wrong. I like Sturridge as much as the next Chelsea fan, but the fact is sometimes we get class players who we think will be a future starter and they often end up being sold. Take example Carlton Cole, I hope i'm 100% wrong, but we know how managers do get impatient with players. There's no doubt though, he does need to start making more of his chances.
  7. Once Lampard or Benayoun is back we'll see Essien stop trying to do the long shots. He did it against City because he realised that's the only way we could have a shot, the City defence was too strong for us to try and play our way into a goal, so like BL said he shouldn't be judged on that.
  8. The media will always say otherwise. Because Johnson is English, even if Kakuta went on to win Young Player of the Year, no-one would acknowledge him. In fact they'd say "Johnson deserved it more". As long as us Chelsea fans recognise his talent and potential it doesn't matter
  9. Happy Birthday Mate!! Thank you for founding such a brilliant forum, we don't give you enough praise sometimes! Hope you have a great day & I hope Chelsea win to make it an even better day!
  10. I didn't want to say that but I share the same view if I'm honest. I think Carlo's going to run out of patience soon.
  11. +1 million. Couldn't agree with that sentence any more.
  12. This is one of the reasons why I'll never boo Wayne Bridge.
  13. He knows he has competition from McEachran now, so hopefully he will
  14. Okay, I'm a bit late to the party, just joined it under my old user rstar500
  15. Is it just centre backs? If you're including full backs then Taiwo of Marseille & Roberto Carlos once upon a time Some told me Agger can strike a ball well so you might want to check out his free kick ability.
  16. +1! He's a winger. Leave him on the damn wing if we're gonna play him..
  17. The reserves are not as near competitive as the Championship or perhaps League 1. If there's a chance for him to play in the Championship then he should go out there impress them and come back ready to break through. But like you said he's still young so we shouldn't rush him
  18. So my eyes wide open 'cos a dream is kin to your last breath..
  19. And where will we find a keeper like that? No experienced keeper with quality will accept he's a bench warmer & thus won't sign
  20. Chelsea's rising star Josh McEachran is trying to base his game on team-mate Frank Lampard. The 17-year-old has made a remarkable progression through the Blues ranks and has already featured in Carlo Ancelotti's side this season. The left-sided midfielder came on in Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Manchester City to get his first taste of Premier League action and has also featured in the Champions League and the Carling Cup this term. After catching Ancelotti's eye in the midweek cup exit to Newcastle, McEachran is poised to be used when Marseille come to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday. With Lampard still out recovering from a hernia problem, the England international's understudy is desperate to emulate his more experienced colleague. McEachran told The Sunday Mirror: "Chelsea say to me, 'Look at Frank Lampard'. I need to get in the box more and score more and that will help me as a player, so I will try that more this season "Being with the first team every day now, I feel more part of the group. "John Terry always speaks to me and says, 'Keep going, you are doing really well'." Ancelotti added: "He can play in the first team right now, without problem. "Josh is very young but he showed fantastic ability." || SkySports ||
  21. No way!! Malouda's been on immense form playing on that left wing, the partnership him and Ashley Cole have means our left flank is probably the best in the Premier League! Until Lampard on Benayoun's fit we'll have to rely on either Ramires, Zhirkov or McEachran occupying that Lampard role.
