  4. He's been more effective for us than Joe Cole has for Liverpool
  5. Sunday will be hard for Carlo, so he deserves maximum respect for coming back for it! R.I.P Mr Ancelotti
  6. Doesn't surprise me at all, physisists worked out how Robert Carlos's free kick goal was not a "fluke" but scientifically explainable
  7. I think you're wrong but everyone's entitled to their opinions
  8. Seems our security officials are in trouble about last night.. SkySports & ChelseaFC
  9. I don't think he said it was a better goal, unless that's what he meant?
  10. How could I forget about Juninho! When people name great free-kick takers, Juninho for me comes #1
  11. YouTube can make anyone look better than anyone to be fair
  12. There's a lot of negativity about this game from people, remember this is a team we beat 7-1 last season . This will be a challenging game, but we'll still win it
  13. I've never seen a ball so beautifuly hit since then..
  14. I'm quite glad we converted you!
  15. ChelseaFC Probably for this placenta treatment everyone's causing a big hype about?
  16. I think you're reading too much into last year's effects to be honest. Yes it would've been disappointing to be knocked out of a competition but the players know, in terms of importance, The Carling Cup is low priority. I'm sure most of them have put it behind them already, Anelka certainly has. And playing vs ManUtd and playing vs City is completely different. Manchester City is one of those teams that has a lot of strength and quality now and losing to them (in context) doesn't mean that much (< please don't take that out of hand..). When we play ManUtd it's ALWAYS a "Must win" however vs City it's a bit different. Me personally, I think we haven't haven't really got underway in any games we've played, but we've still come away with big wins. So it's only a matter of time
  17. Played 10 Won 6 Lost 2 Drawn 2 Those are some good odds there ;D
  18. Yeah, looks like he won't rejoin us till after the international break.
  19. If this is true, I hope the kid is right footed. Would rather have Jesus Navas though
  20. The only one who doesn't slag us off (when we don't deserve it!)
  21. We can't be expected to win every game by scoring 6 or 7 goals. It's like Souness was saying, we weren't bad against City, they were just the better side. Sometimes champions have to win ugly, it's why we're champions. You shouldn't use statistics from last season, because Carling Cup failure will not mean anything in the context of things. As for last night, we did what we had to. Marseille didn't exactly roll over in the 2nd half, they gave it a good go. We were strong enough to withstand it and at the end of the day a 2-0 win isn't bad, the corner was done very well (Andy Gray couldn't POSSIBLY know if Kakuta meant that or not) but even if Kakuta didn't mean it, it was a very good move by Terry to convert it in.
  22. This will be an easier game than City. Looking at Arsenal's defence, they're nowhere near as powerful as ManCity's was. Players like Malouda, Anelka and Drogba will easily power past them, but Arsenal players fall like dominoes and referee's are starting to cave under pressure from Wenger's stupid rants. We know Song will be playing in that defensive line so he'll give Drogba a bit of action, but the deadly duo of Cole & Malouda will rape them down the left flank, with Sagna as right back we'll be bombing down there. There's a chance Fabregas will play, but I have a feeling Wenger won't risk it, even if he does Essien and Mikel will be on him in a flash. If we close down Fabregas then the service to Arse-shaving and Chamakh will be limited. Our defence should be strong enough to withstand their attack. The key men Chelsea will need to look out for will be Nasri & Chamakh. These 2 have been on good form for Arsenal, however with our French players, we should be able to figure out how to keep them quiet. Drogba always comes to life when playing Arsenal, he's got a personal duel going on with them and there's no doubt he's looking to get some goals in this game. Almunia is having a nightmare as it is and there's still no guarantees about Fabianski's capability in goal.
  23. The small one in Men's should fit fine. Kid's large would be too tight a fit I think
  24. That's what ever Chelsea fan should always remember. Then they can think twice before even daring to insult him!
