  1. Wolves are hoping to sign Mancienne on a permanent deal now, but the ball is in Chelsea's court. After selling Stoch last month, could they sell Mancienne too? http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_6232457,00.html
  2. I wouldn't worry too much. He turned 31 in March, so he'll only be 33 by the time we release him. The Drog turned 32 in March but we all have faith in his ability in the future.
  3. The infamous Caught Offside are reporting Ancelotti making a £22million move for Uruguayan hero Luiz Suréz. This story comes after he struck 2 goals in the knock out game vs South Korea which led to them winning the match, thus progressing to the Quarter finals. It's no wonder this story came out, Suaréz has become an instant hero, which means the rumour mill will be going crazy. Anyway, check the story out here.
  4. The most obvious point would be, Silva hasn't done anything yet.
  5. Jesus, what happened with the title? LOL But glad for Ballack, back at his old club to finish off.. Good luck to him
  6. SkySports should report it though, so I'll wait for them or BBC. 2 most reliable websites in the world (wide web )
  7. Not seeing it anywhere else, will wait for Chelsea to make it official.
  8. I think the Arsenal fans still call him Le Sulk! LOL
  9. Great news! Nico has worked hard this season, been a great asset when Drogba wasn't on form or just when we needed someone with a clear mind to come on. I don't believe this will put Aguero off at all, he will see it as a challenge not a turn off.
  10. I think if Silva would sign for us, it would definitely tempt Aguero towards the Bridge. It often takes 1 signing to start a wave of others, currently we're selling (or releasing) to balance the books. Once the buying starts I think we'll bag Aguero.
  11. I wouldn't worry, the Athletico Madrid GM has always been saying his players are staying. He's just speculating.
  12. Dare I say, we may actually sign this player? His agent says Read here
  13. I'm not surprised at all that they are under-performing. It's usually a given that when you're great at club level, you're not that good for country. Drogba, Messi, Ronaldo and Rooney all prove this theory. Not to undermine them and say they're crap internationally, but let's just say the Drogba at Chelsea is very different to the Drogba at the Ivory Coast.
  14. After this campaign I doubt he'll come to Chelsea, let's hope Roman proves me wrong though
  15. Vincent Enyeama, the Nigerian goalkeeper really impressed me this year, it's a shame Nigeria did not progress any further Mesut Özil has also impressed everyone quite frankly. No doubt that his value has shot up now and it maybe unlikely he'll be staying at Bremen next year. I do wish he'd stop the diving though, he does it at least once a game. One man I expected to shine and is doing so is, David Villa. The newly signed Barcelona striker has continued to look sharp for Spain following on from his form in Euro2008. From the Ivory Coast, the 23 year-old Gervinho has impressed, he has the pace and dribbling ability we once saw in one Ronaldinho and he's defiantly one to look out for. And finally, from the Brazil camp, Elano looks to be finding some very good form. I'll never understand why Manchester City sold such a great player, but there we go. A great all round technical midfielder, makes good runs and has a good finishing boot on him.
  16. Thank you to whoever gave me that vote, much appreciated Congratulations to all the winners!
  17. The Daily Mail are saying Chelsea may beat Manchester City to the Spaniard's signature, at the cost of £29million & £160,00 a week. His agent, reportedly, says:
  18. TribalFootball reporting today that Chelsea are trying to lure Marco Borriello, of AC Milan, to the Bridge. Carlo has a history with working with him, from his AC Milan days of course. Personally I hope this doesn't happen, he's a good player, but not Chelsea material. I'd rather have Pato anyday.
  19. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ouBpYJFWBmQ Looks like a good player, not needed tbh, we have a good stock of defenders, Terry, Alex, Carvalho (though, who knows for how long), Ivanovic, Bruma ect
  20. Agreed. But we don't actually know if that's the real reason remember. It could be the whole "bench thing" he realises he nearly missed out on England once, doesn't want to risk it again? Going to Manchester United wouldn't help him there, but who cares now
  21. I'll be honest, I watched him play this season for Valencia, he's not worth £25 million. But because of Valencia's financial troubles I doubt they'd let him go for anything less. I'd rather have Mata, but if Silva's telling us to come get him.. why not
  22. The Daily Mail confirms this, as he will be offered £160,00 a week. We were never going to pay him that.
