  1. United fans going on about how Luiz and Smallings' challenges were similar yet only they got penalized!
  2. Appropriate substitutions were finally made. Zhirkov for Malouda was one that logic was crying out for. Malouda'd been wasteful and Zhirkov came on, did his job helping control Nani with Ashley Cole at left back. Then he won us that penalty Drogba for Anelka worked well because Drogba was very very wise. The way he saw out our victory with Ramires was beautiful and made me laugh! Bosingwa for Luiz gave Luiz great confidence with the round of applause & also saved him being sent off
  3. That second half is probably the best half of football we've played this entire season. The determination, the heart, the commitment. Even Drogba did a fantastic job! Hopefully we carry this momentum on to Blackpool.
  4. Drogba warming up. Coming on for Anelka or Malouda perhaps. Hope not for Torres!
  5. I do hate how Rooney stole Gudjohnsen's celebration
  6. Just put my Chelsea shirt on, slapping the badge, riling myself up!! Hope the players did the same! COME ON CHELSEA!!
  7. The 2nd league is very close. 1st till 4th are all in contention for promotion. Will be a tight end to the season!
  8. Jesus, Ivanovic is 2 away from another ban! Good job we've got decent cover this time
  9. And if your radio doesn't work, phone Alex and get him to put his phone right next to the tele
  10. I'd imagine it'll be back for the first half of next season too.
  11. Pfft, you've made me relive the time I had an 8hour stop-over in Philadelphia once on my way back from Florida. That defined killer :| Should give you a heads up though, we've got some shit weather right now!
  12. Haha basically, from now till 2nd April, if player get 10yellow cards, then they face a 2match ban. 5 yellow cards simply comes with a waning. Case & points, Charlie Adams received his 10th yellow card this weekend so he misses our game. From 2nd April, players will need 15yellows to face a ban, which will be increased to 3 matches. Hope that clears it up?
  13. Today marks the 5-year anniversary of the best player to ever put on the Chelsea shirt. Peter Osgood 1947-2006 http://www.whoateallthepies.tv/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/PA-9571549.jpghttp://v4admin.sportnetwork.net/upload/379/EMP-2894434.jpg King of Stamford Bridge
  14. Well done for getting the camera man in the b/g out the way. Concept simple, yet effective. Nice job!
  15. The finish on his goal, one word: Amazing.
  16. Reliable source I guess. Very disappointed, but not surprised.
  17. chelseayouth Chelsea Youth Jack Cork reveals that Chelsea have informed him he can leave the club. Hugely disappointing.

  19. Ah fair enough, I agree with that then.
  20. Apparently we'd tried for Tiote in January
  21. Kinda disagree with you there Drew. I'd agree if you meant stuff like affairs and personal relationships should not be made public by the media, because they're internal, personal issues which people should have a right to have privacy over. However a player, taking an air rifle to a football training ground, to then wave it around not knowing whether it's loaded or not, then proceed to shooting someone, is something that perhaps people should have the right to know about. Technically it's a crime. Chelsea said they're taking action, if it means Cole is suspended or his pay is docked for a while it's alright. People should still have a right to know about these things though, just so we can show people that footballers, who are seen as role models, are not perfect. They, like anyone else, are accountable for their mistakes. That's the message that should be sent out. Not protecting the image of these role models, but to show that they learn from their mistakes.
  22. ''I doubt very much that Didier Drogba wants to leave Chelsea; he is being rested rather than dropped at the moment,'' a source close to the club told ESPNsoccernet on Sunday. "Chelsea need Didier Drogba back to his best for their run in the Champions League, but he also needs careful handling. Clearly Chelsea need to finish in the top four of the Premier League, so they have to rotate their strikers to keep them fresh. "Drogba has had malaria, he has had a sore knee and a couple of weeks of rest, easing himself back, makes sense. However, it is true that he won't like being on the bench, even if it might be for his own good.'' Chelsea have three strikers competing to fit into coach Carlo Ancelotti's lineup, but the source added that of the three strikers - Torres, Drogba, and Nicolas Anelka - the player most likely to be sacrificed in the summer is Anelka. "Ask any Chelsea fan who is the best striker at the club and they will tell you Didier,'' he said. ''Anelka has talent to burn, but the worry is how often he is willing to burn it!" ESPN
