Only because he slated them in his autobiography. That's the only reason they boo/hate him. Torres has done nothing to warrant such hatred. He has not bashed the fans, he hasn't dissed the club, he has kissed our badge or anything. He's kept his head low and got on with his job. Despicable.

To be honest, I hold reservations about my "worst" list. Our own history has taught us to be better than that and allow some players time. Balotelli will come good for City. Though, since his signing he's failed to show it. I still remember that game vs Everton where he basically sulked for the whole game till he was finally taken off as a sub. Then there's the infamous red card in their Europa League match which cost them that game (to an extent). Off-field troubles have not helped either, like bust ups at the training ground and reported problems with Mancini. It's only based on his attitude, that I've put him there to be honest. But he's only 20. Plenty of time to change that..

And if Guardiola fails to lift any trophies in his first season.. What then? Will Roman be patient and allow long-term stability?

I still don't understand signing him if I'm honest. Yes he's a good technical player but I don't see his role in the squad. The midfield trio of Mikel, Ramires & Lampard is adequate enough without adding a 30-year old who can do the basics right. If we were looking to sign a "fill in the gap" player, we should've kept Michael Ballack.

Yeah, I mean I only say I'd start Anelka because I wasn't happy with Kalou today at all. I thought he was the weak link today, losing possession and not being decisive enough on the ball. This season has been quite generous to him though, he's having a good chance to display some areas where he's improved. He put in a good shift on Wednesday, today he wasn't great, but he has showed he's not as bad as I once perceived. For the Tottenham game I don't mind who starts out of them. But I do hope, Carlo doesn't get distracted by the gloss of a Torres goal.. Because it's still not enough to warrant a change in a, temporary, winning formula.

Nah not Torres, Malouda - Drogba - Anelka Thing is, Anelka knows how to hold the ball and control it properly. It's true he slows down an attack but when you're defending like a 1-0 lead (as we were), he's someone you want in the squad to just keep possession and maybe if the chance opens up to go for goal. Today when he came on he nearly scored one (the Torres pass) and assisted one for sure (again, Torres). I see why he's frustrating, but I think he's a better option than Kalou.
