I thought that was fairly obvious? Just as our approach to Cahill/Dann is (if indeed true). I'm not saying Terry's finished or will be finished by the end of the season. However there's nothing wrong in making signings that will eventually come to replace him. Cahill's young enough to be that replacement, that make the cameo appearance when there's no immediate danger in the game, as Smalling did regularly for United this, last, season.

What, how? Terry is 30.. 31 in December. He's entering the twilight of his career so we should be looking for a long term replacement about now. It doesn't mean he'll "destroy" Terry, it means he's giving Terry some competition. Keep him on form. Just like he will with Lampard. Luiz and Alex will battle along side Terry and who ever comes in. So it will keep them both on form. There's nothing wrong with this plan, it doesn't mean the end of this player or that player. It means we keep the squad fresh for the 9months of football they'll play

I read when Mancini called him, Sanchéz was open to the idea of moving here. They only pulled out because of the fee. So the whole "Sanchéz wants to move to Barcelona only" thing is crock.

If we wanted to, I have no doubts we could land Aguero. He knows we've been tracking him for a few years & he'd be more than open to joining us now considering only Juventus are interested right now. We're in a better position than them currently, in the Champions League mainly. If we did land Aguero over Neymar I wouldn't complain, if the opposite occurred, I wouldn't complain either. Out of potential strikers available who are young, proven and affordable, Aguero tops the list. However maybe with the amount of strikers we have, maybe a central player like Aguero isn't what we need. Hence the approach for Neymar who can be a wide player.

It's far too early to promote Chalobah. I'm a huge fan of him. I think he has the making to be even better than Phil Jones will be, however we must be patient. He's still 16 and we have time to properly bring him up as we're doing with McEachran.
