  1. Vitesse rate him highly there. They made him captain and he featured in every game he was fit. It would be a great injustice if we didn't give him a chance here at Chelsea. After this latest loan move.
  2. Good choices. Each have contributed a lot this month & have given some good posts amongst a time where we're bound to get a few silly ones. (That's no disrespect to any other members). Kostas gets my vote for providing the articles he usually does about our financial state and back room staff changes. Like I said though, all deserve a worthy shout
  3. That's good. Shows there will be no immediate problems with a DoF as long as, however takes the job, respects Boas' position.
  4. Must've been a board signing. He came almost within the same week as Carlo did..
  5. Yeah, we should only sign when we sell, when it comes to our attacking options. The midfield should be different, there is a pressing need to buy creative, while retaining the ones we have now.. Who are defensive, but there is still a need for them.
  6. I agree again. That's why Scott Dann for less than £10million is good business for defensive cover. We do not need to spend much on players like Aguero though, I do not think there is a need for him. As you say, City do need a new striker, I'd be surprised if they picked Aguero to be that man though. I think they might try tempt Zlatan. He's more they type of player they need.
  7. I agree. I'm not saying they can't make these transfers, just showing you the article which suggested that.
  8. That's true. It all depends if those clubs are aware though. The thing with transfers like Torres is, you're guaranteed to make a hell of a lot from merchandise, advertising ect. Because he's a worldwide star in the game, no matter his form. Aguero is popular, but not as popular when it comes to things like this. Which is why City will be careful about their big money transfers now. What's certainly true is, we've been a lot careful in the last few years with transfers. Where City have gone wild, we've started to wind down (at the right time) and made careful movements in the market.. Selling/releasing & buying. United have also done likewise.
  9. Hmm.. Well Kostas has provided links about that before showing various loopholes which should see us get past these. I suggest you ask him for those.. It would be disaster for us if we didn't though.
  10. Never thought I'd hear Scholes speak well of something we've done. Loved his comments about Arsanal though
  11. Like I said. In today's market, it's quite a good deal. However he isn't worth that in reality.
  12. Hahaha thought so! Interesting quotes by Falcao though. Ball's in our court now I suppose.

  15. Oh no, we'll definitely be linked.. But the other 2, you're spot on!
  16. Canales is likely to be sold. Garay's being used as player-swap deal for Coentrao & Leon's likely to go to Valencia
  17. He'll have some heavy competition from John Flanagan when it comes to England. He certainly lives up to his hype, that the Liverpool fans have shown.. He's already in the England u19 set up
  18. £25million? A bit overpriced, but in today's market, it wouldn't be the worst deal in the world..
  19. From what he's said in that SkySports article he doesn't seem to reject the idea of joining Hamburg. It seems Arnesen's had a bigger impact on these kids than we first believed.
  20. I've read somewhere, Mancini's keeping a tight lid on transfers right now with FFP looming. Don't ask me for a source, since I'm tired and can't be asked to look right now Edit: Source
  21. If we don't get penalties against Barcelona, no-one should.
