  1. Also, it's now 16 in 22 for Falcao after he scored today.
  2. He was injured, I think he's coming back from that now. But yeah Mourinho doesn't really want to play him, he was sort of imposed on him by Peréz looking to sign anyone/everyone. Madrid really didn't need Sahin and Sahin chose to move too early. The Turkey coach said he'll continue to play him even if he's not getting a eye in the Real first squad, which is good for his confidence, but Sahin must be kick himself really. He should move.
  3. That's true. But gambles can reap great rewards. Of course this club would be the worst step up for Moyes and I think he'll go to Tottenham when/if Harry goes for the England job.
  4. That's not what I mean. I'm still sickened by his actions, and he's definitely not up on the pedestal I once placed him on. That being said, I'd rather he did start playing properly now than continue his horrible crap of 2 weeks ago. At a time, where I strongly fear, Mata could burn out, Lampard has to step up his game like he's never had to. I certainly won't be bowing to his feet though, what he's done is highly disrespectful to André, the club & the fans. I know it does, and don't get me wrong it makes me furious. But we need him to step up.
  5. All managers have to start somewhere. Those 2 are not a representation of how the trend would go if we gambled on Moyes.
  6. Van Persie's a better finisher, imo.
  7. Yeah, need to see how he does in 'bad moments' and all that. He's got a bright future in this management game though, his rise to the top has to be gradual.
  8. Perhaps, but it is time to move on. Like we said club above the man, whatever we feel about André it's all said and done now. If Lampard's finally playing for the club, we have to move on from his past behaviour and hope it continues.
  9. Not yet. I'd like to see him stay at Swansea for 2 more seasons tops.
  10. I keep reading a lot of Tottenham rumours for this guy.
  11. I think Falcao would want to come, even if André's moved on.
  12. To be honest, I'm slightly glad he's actually working hard now. Of course I'm annoyed because it proves the talk about him & André, but the fact is we must put that aside because he's now doing what we're expecting of a Chelsea FC player. Only this way, with continuous performances and efforts will he earn back our trust.
  13. The Drogba and Terry comments, I can bet, were a direct questions about the Mourinho speculation. They said a line about he's a good manager, and that's it, now Sky & ESPN are making a massive deal about it.
  14. AHAHA FUCK OFF QPR. I love how they were so arrogant after their spending spree and they still haven't won a game in 16. Taiwo must be thinking 'the fuck did I leave Milan for?!'. Feel sorry for Hughes, that's about it.
  15. Wow, he's been around forever as well
  16. Yep, makes it so easy to go through proper match analysis' without having to go through the numerous pages of live-game talk. Brilliant idea to whoever suggested it.
  17. Nice analysis, good balance of positive and less positive.
  18. Drogba did have a good overall game, but didn't do the job in attack though. I did like seeing him defend when we were 1-0 up, late in the second half. I wouldn't say MOTM because Cahill but in a great shift with Ivanovic. Lampard was good too.
  19. What BL said basically. The team on paper was still stronger than Stoke, even when the latter had 11-men. The need to throw on Mata demonstrates Lampard's noticeable decline because in past season we could rely on him for the clean, crisp, defence splitting pass to Drogba. Even disregarding Napoli, Mata deserved the rest. It's something André did well when he used to take Mata off early in 2nd halves (and we'd all subsequently complain)
  20. He's impressed me. Wasn't jubilant when we did sign him, did have a feeling of 'big fish, small sea', but he's adapted very well. Hope we continues.
  21. We should bloody well not. Europe, America, in fact almost everyone believes they have some divine right to interfere in African affairs. Please. We don't care about democracy there, we care for their natural resources, we care for their oil, we care for their conflict diamonds. AFRICOM is prime example of the rest of the world believing they're in charge of Africa, how dare we put a military presence there. A presence that's been rebuffed by almost all the African government, it should be noted. While there should perhaps be some protocol to keep an eye that the elections are fair, we shouldn't manipulate them at all.
  22. Muniain? I thought he came from their academy?
  23. So this isn't just related to sports/Chelsea. I'd just like to know which newspapers or media outlets the members here read/trust. For example, I'll often check The Guardian, The Economist & BBC News when I wake up. Sometimes I'll browse through the Telegraph & Independent. I don't really like The Metro & Evening Standard much. To our international members too, what do you guys read and trust as credible sources? And why?
  24. Yup, don't make me give ya' a ticket :toke:
