  1. Shouldn't there be someone between Silva and Sterling? Like, uhm, midfield?
  2. We've become predictable with our play - every time we do something unconventional, we are danger. Aaand I feel Kepa's turn between posts is coming.
  3. Damn you lied to me. Ran home due to kickoff counter and turns out, it's hour early.
  4. C'mon guys, Fofana is a gamble. I'd rather have him stuck for a week with medical, than see the club buy a 1/5 of player he was before injury for 75 mil. Just think of Umtiti career.
  5. I cannot decide, if I'd rather prefer to have an interim striker who theoretically can find the net or see Boehly being petty and dragging Barca's hope of registering someone from their bulk-buy bunch and pull out last day of the window to make this farce facade fall.
  6. Agent Willian to Fulham, as per Romano
  7. I feel like it's being said pretty much every window since 2-3 years in our case 😶 *Enters Lakkaka*
  8. Who they've sold us for 40? I bet some teams love doing business with Chelsea. Anyway, Ajax only needs so much strength - their league is too small for them and Europe is too big. They need players to flip for profit and Ziyech is mostly spent in this matter, given he had lost over half of market value since he was sold.
  9. Weird business. Really we couldn't manage to sell him? Not a bad player for lower-tier teams after all.
  10. I wonder what those ridiculous pricetags do in heads of young players, who are not quite yet finished top product, to put it lightly. I hope we won't see another Morata-esque mental breakdowns…
  11. Before we'll get too amused with this draw, a friendly remainder of what we all know of: We will struggle. We will struggle like f**
  12. Sometimes I feel like world's economy turned to monopoly money when I wasn't looking. 100 million was an uncrossable line a while ago, now players who I need to google are worth 80+ and I'm having a hard time believing that the matchday income and TV rights are balancing it, when most of people's buying power only goes down.
  13. I think getting KK and Sterling AND rid of deadwood and flops is a good enough window already, not getting some random Kondue Gordon whoever we are linked with folks 80 mil Euro / head would make it even better. We somehow managed with transfer ban under Lampard and we somehow managed with hacked together team under Sarri, I don't think we desperately need to replace entire squad with similar-level players, just different, for a sake of it or otherwise we'll finish mid-table. If no real improvement is available, just move on. Actually I feel like a moment when major shiny overhauling started, we also started a roll into mediocrity…
  14. Funny how the tables turn here, from wishes to secure Tuchel for next decade to wanting to sack him after sloppy stint, that surely has more causes than TT himself and reminds nothing of situations when he was sacked from PSG and Dortmund. This is not FIFA and huge club doesn't actually rebuild, replace entire squad and do a 180 flip in philiosophy and business operations in a day, by decision of a single person. Easy to speak after time, but on a sidenote, I guess if Marina fired up her computer and only followed a general sentiment in this thread when hiring any personnel, we would probably be around bottom of National League, bankrupted seven times by now. I know most football fans has a short fuse, but damn, some folks should take a deeper breath sometimes <;
  15. I guess scouts look more into the height of jump, than height itself; Sure, defenders should be big, but stand up straight, bam, +5 cm. Scoliosis? Out of luck, -5. Hard to eyeball from the photo, different postures, different perspective etc.
  16. Fernandes shows how laughable and pathetic case he is once again; Somehow no free pens for United this time, so he goes into literal childish meltdown. This kind of shit should be wiped fron PL, but well, FA is FA.
  17. https://www.footmercato.net/a2735869914480804686-logc-nice-tente-le-coup-nicolas-pepe Pepe is looking for a way out of Arsenal, potentially to Nice. I remember how half of this board was desperately wanting him here and other half was worried he will absolutely smash us with Gunners. Incredible, I feel like literally all of the hot wonderkids of last 2-3 years had failed in Prem miserably.
  18. I'd rather be concerned about people getting hyped up because of our another supposed, humiliating "pursuit" of a player, who clearly doesn't want to come here or just doesn't give a shit at best, just like Raphinia situation.
  19. Watching this league for years I still can't believe this two are still officiating highest level games, when clearly biased and making bad decisions against us EVERY SINGLE GAME. It's something more than just being bad ref, as perhaps most in PL is. And still no one will say a word because FA will be very unhappy about calling things what they really are.
  20. Brainfart, mixed Twitter with reality 😅
  21. Yeah, I know, it's my city and I even got their supporter's card I needed to get into the game, lol What I meant is this league's technique level is straight horrifying, so calling someone "championship level" is rather compliment, but "polish league level" not so much 😆Anyway, this league is riddled with huge administrative problems, like bad academies, buying random Balkan/Slovak players and selling anyone with bit of skill immediately for any profit just to get by and so on. Yeah, Ondrej Duda made it into Arsenal nope, Norwich, but I guess this kind of success is extremely hard to replicate and I doub't Boehly is into taking another Zappacostian level of gamble…
  22. First one is fair, second one is rather insulting, yet nothing better than some "out of context Ekstraklasa" when in need of good laugh. Anyway, I feel like we somehow became replacement for United BS linking with anyone alive for clickbait. "Chelsea is considering" seems to pretty much translate to some random Twitter bloke considering his life choices during morning sitting on toilet
  23. I'd get all excited if we were linked with players who can pull off this kind of stuff with actual PL opponents, not with PUMAS, with all due respect. It's the everlasting problem with links other, than CL-proven players: they are magicans in their leagues, but in PL suddenly stuff is 10x faster and more physical and they are crashing the wall hard. Besides this, De Jong and his agency are apparently playing a hardball in terms of cash and another huge, hit or miss contract is not something we need, as previous 5 times we did were rather failure. He may be good, but the move is a delicate matter I guess.
  24. Why on earth would they publicly state in with THIS level of detail? Are they trying to laugh off their own, since two weeks, player? This club is bigger circus than it seemed after emoji-bombing Lewandowski
