Absolutely don't expect him to, basically I'd way more prefer function over form, for now we desperately need points, style will come
-
So this is the famous "positive football" some people wanted? A lot of fuss and poor-man's tiki-taka with zero end effect?
-
We don't look bad (or RB does), but need to conclude it with goal or they'll come to bite us very soon
-
Pehaps it was asked before, but what is up with the match countdown? I've been fooled by it before, shame on me, it eg. now it says "kickoff 8pm UK time", wich is true, but the timer counts to 8pm my timezone, that is hour too early. Don't know if it's linked to server time, browser time or whatever, but certainly it shouldn't be.

Sometimes I think some opinions here won't cease to amaze me. Yeah, let's keep heaps of deadwood, but loosing Kante is exactly what we need now, especially in typical Chelsea configuration - let him go on a free and than sign some mediocre TC-board-FM-find replacement from banana league for a 200 mil, not sooner than year later, who will never be able to step up to this level, so buy another one next window, rinse and repeat. We missed on reasonable DM talents, our very own are no way near this level. Kante is one of last senior players who has got charisma and some brain actually, so it would be wise to keep him for 2 more years - his wages are peanuts, compared to some idiotic moves by the board and still is one of a few our players, who can turn games around. The real question is are Kante's injuries are effect of age, or rather it started when club started to seriously mismanage physical preparation and he was run down to the ground playing everything everywhere and never really recovered from it.

How's that a move away from anything we've seen so far? Sacking manager after 1.5 years and marketing spiel about building for long-term from now on is literally third time it happens in last 6 years. Only difference Potter looks like smallest name of recent ones and I wonder what will happen in transfer window, since in recent one a lot of people blamed boards failure on Tuchel having "no pull as a manager". Plus, Boehly's BS just contradicts itself - hiring like of Potter is supposed to build grassroots club's identity from ground up, but Tuchel was sacked for not applauding owner's "ambition" in a form of trying to hire CR7?
-
Fans are divided on this, okay, but if reports that they planned TT gone for a while, then it's a 100% dick move on players; They waited for a window to close to not let anyone in favour of Tuchel out and lured incoming players with vision of playing under the manager that is gone the next day? Some of our starlets are surely happy, but this kind of shithousery may not go down too well with the ones who notice broader context and only make the tensions worse after all. I'm becoming super suspicious of this ownership and not buying a single word of the "new long-time vision" bs.
-
They already aren't picking up, so what's a difference, lol
-
Well, let's be aware, that historically, since +\- Vialli, so modern football of sorts, our managers win rate was 55%, give or take 5%, with TT having one of the highest ratios. We can't sack a manager and replace half of the squad every time we start loosing, for god's sake. Especially when it's burdened with same problem as players - no clearly better replacement available, more of same stuff, but different and more expensive.

He said, a few times, he got offer from us and it's cool, but he prefers Barca. So he basically told us to suck it and we should respect it, instead of making further offers, that leak to media every day - club should either publicly deny wanting to buy him or just make sure stuff is quiet, instead of being played by Barca and his agent.
-
True, but club really failed at media comms during the window. We shouldn't publicly make desperate clowns of ourselves, with ridiculous pursuit of freaking LEEDS Raphinia who doesn't want to come here. Serious clubs don't allow this kind of stuff.
-
Moretto reporting they were supposed to have major disagreement over transfers, with Tuchel not wanting CR7 and Kondue. So, in a clash of some one who knows football with someone who doesn't quite yet, apparently TT saved few hundreds milion to guy who sacked him.
-
Poch is just as toothless as the team is, so surely he would fit. Now I'm reading Potter would mean another record fee, for a manager this time. We are becoming as pathetic as PSG, only difference is they actually bought themselves some wins, we are only buying ourselves embarassment.
-
Actually, looking at number of cards Tuchel got this season, he could be the last one to care. Nah, fuck this, disgrace from the Club and I could only hope savior Boehly won't turn out new Glazers. And people thinking we will "build on Potter from now on", or whoever - don't be naive. We were supposed to build rock-solid future on Lampard, keep Tuchel for decade and so on. Laughable circus.
-
Players don't want to come here due to constant rotations and we are working hard for no manager to be willing to come here until desperate. Potter not Potter, gone before 2024.
-
We are headless chicken of a club, I'm sick of this way of management, don't care if a new temporary manager does good for another 9-15 months, we are never getting anywhere this way. Unless there was a major conflict between Tuchel and Board, as it was with him with previous clubs, I'm just pissed off.
-
I'm afraid with Conte, Sarri and Lampard it was strong personalities turning against the manager. Now we have no leader and no character to support the manager. I didn't quite rate Rudiger way of being, but I feel he was last one of this sort, now we are just lukewarm corporation, thus no signs of interest of winning for the team.
-
I know we are rather about ruthless criticism than praise here, but never thought I will live to the day when I see Koulibaly being Chelsea player, bashed for being shitty defender, lol
-
Nah, I'm joking obviously, but I feel loss of Rudiger (and maybe Zouma) hurts as more in terms of dressing room character, not pure skill. Apparently footballers are more sustainable to this kind of language, than Tuchel trying philosophical Mourinho on them
-
We should hijack Diego Costa, at lest for him to join our coaching squad. Talk is good, but this knobhead invading training ground in paintball-guns equipped golfcart it would surely do better in terms of spirits correction. Never thought I'd say it, but we really lack some explosive personality.
-
Same talk with Sarri and same talk with Lampard; Those players are not (mostly) children, it's not like they play Tuchel FC, so what's the point of mentality they show on the pitch right now? They should be acceptably good with any manager and even without one.
-
You guys forget Chelsea is not Real and can't just grab anyone they fancy; "Targets" and who we got, given circumstances are two different things and it's not quite Tuchel's fault. We got pretty much best players we could (who wanted to come here).
-
I know what kind of opinions can be usually red here, but I'm afraid the first thing we need to do regarding Tuchel is to stop sacking managers every 1,5-3 seasons. This is the root cause of most of our problems, as the club ends up spinning into same place anyway and we cannot forever rely on freshness effect for 8 months and then downward slop next 8 and then new manager and another random players incoming, who don't fit any previous buys. Artreta did worse and now they finally passed it and look decent. And about Rudi - I'm surprised people are saying we didn't replace him. Well, KK is not replacement, it's a step up. In theory. Too bad theory don't really manifest itself in reality at the moment.

You can't be serious mate

Zyiech is Vitesse material in recent times, too bad we didn't manage to ship him out
