  1. I wonder how came Drinkwater found his place and Barkley was left behind? I guess DD's salary is higher and footballing quality bit worse, than Barkley's…
  2. Don't forget that while Zouma is out, Chalobah is in, so numbers stay say and hopefully our academy grad will get some chances
  3. Brightest point is that club done much needed cleanup and it's another window when we see sensible business done, without much dreaded panic buys. Still feel some deficiency because of Kondue as it would be a step towards building solid defense in near future, when Silva is gone, but I guess our management and analitics staff know their way.
  4. I can already hear the outcry here if he won't magically rebuild his form in the airplane and hit the ground running here. The club gambled on suqad player and some people expect him to score goals and totally change our midfield; Well, isn't Atleti letting him go cause he is kind of not performing? Good business, but way too high expectations.
  5. Aren't RLC and Barkley backup plan for our midfield? They were not send on loan, even though it would be probably quite doable, when Saul comes, what's the use for them? U23?
  6. As per Arsenal announcement, WIllian's contract terminated by mutual consent and he is headed to Corinthians. Turbulent ending of interesting career
  7. Not very impressed with apparently zero incomings besides Big Rom, but keeping fingers crossed for NO last minute panic buys tomorrow, hope the club has learned something from the past.
  8. Sky commentators would love love Liverpool to win, wouldn't they?
  9. He was supposed to be there "partly due to personal reasons" as press reported
  10. In that whole saga I'm especially surprised how AC ratings has gone up, from being rumored to leave to be an essential part of squad. Zouma is electric, but is aerial beast, whereas Christensen is electric and homegrown and kinda is there, can't tell what's his biggest merit. If we were making space for new CB I'd rather expected AC to be moved, not Zouma…
  11. Just like us, we could finish anywhere between 2 and 6, it didn't matter. United at the moment are cynically managed, conflict and internal issues-ridden club with unclear ambitions and joke of a manager in form of Ole at the wheel, relying on enforcing controversial penalties that belongs to Europa League. This is different planet in terms of ambiton, sport level, mentality and reputation than Juventus. If You criticize Juve for not being good enough and unable to secure national title and CL win and at the same time move to United, you can't be serious. And as far I respect every rival I can understand us fearing City, but fearing United in present form doesn't look much like winners mentality; Personally, I'm not bothered at all by their recent transfers and considering them serious title contenders seems huge exaggeration to me; Note that every time we lost to them we pretty much lost to ourselves (like we often did in recent times), not to their immense greatness.
  12. Don't really care about about 2-6 places in PL lately, as it seems extremely even and bit random race. Juve was pushed with expectations to win everything in Italy and CL, rightly so. If PSG won't grab CL this year it will be an epic fail. Meanwhile is anyone really expecting United to win PL, beating enforced City to it? Doubt it. Does anyone expect them to win CL? Hell no. Only thing that can help them to win is lack of pressure and that's not the best news for us…
  13. I was wondering how his PR team is gonna explain move to mid-table team after two years of crying that Juve is not good enough to win trophies, but I see the "coming home" and narrative about ex-teammates "touching his heart" kicked in, lol
  14. While he is completly tactially unfit for City, he's talented diver, so United seems right choice, welcome more penalties because penalties
  15. So, Ronaldo was hungry for CL success he couldn't get with Juve, so he went to United to fight for UEFA cup qualification now? WTF?
  16. Seen this info posted yesterday 8 pm my time, than two hours later Sky Italia claimed it's done and last details are being sorted out. Chronology is confusing here, lol
  17. What actually is Ronaldo's business in joining City? He will be bashed by united fans and probably bullied physically. Plus, is it really possible for top PL teams to allow player to not participate in defense / pressing and just wait for passes up in front? If he is unhappy about loosing the key man role in Juve and having to work for the team more, he'd get the same issue in PL, but triple size.
  18. Geez. I don't understand why Nike serves us with such an uninspired stuff; Just look at Venezia – they are 99% anonymous team, that sold out their kit in 15 minutes and people who don't care about football are fighting for it, because the kit is, well, dope. Meanwhile huge club like Chels, CL winner, gets whatever Corel Draw had thrown out at the moment.
  19. Yeah, given PL is PL, just imagine how much the slightest injury of this guy would cost us, lol
  20. I wonder whether Haaland is all about money or Raiola is basically ruining his career; Opposite to likes of Messi or even Mbappe, his marketing value is not outstanding (perhaps because of BVB) so I can't see any club falling for this BS anytime soon, especially given he can pretty much flop in any serious league, who knows. Given PSG and Madrid should be more conservative next window, Barcelona is dumpster fire, Juve are not throwing money out of window I guess City is max of what he can land, but I'll laugh so hard if he ends up in Bayern or United level of club after all. Like Bailey, Sancho, or Ajax youth, you can't ride the hype forever if you aren't proven outside your farmer's league (and 16 CL matches proves nothing imo).
  21. Is it me, or since Hazard we are only selling players to the clubs way worse than us? In theory it's good, but looking at all the transfer rumors, I see zero interest in our players whatsoever, wich is quite funny for a CL winners. Always had been an interesting club.
  22. Anyone with an information on our homegrown players situation at the moment? I may be wrong, but seeing the outgoings + academy outgoings and potential incomings + previous transfers I have a feeling we are heading towards the thin ice with this.
  23. Well, it's bit like Mou's case - either he is a true gangster, madman or an idiot, you can never know.
  24. Maybe it was asked before, but how come we missed on RB duo of Konate and Upamecano, but are suddenly after Kondue, who seemed fourth wonderkid choice and ready to pay twice the price for him? Is he really better / more suitable, than those two or we just overslept the moment to get a CB?
  25. Gonna laugh so hard if Lukaku is going to demolish opponent's defences one after another now, lol
