Giroud is one of the best signings of past years. He had zero hype. He was cheap. Yet he was key in Europa League trophy last season, and he was key in saving our season. Team looked set to finish 6th pra 7th with no proper CF. Now the team will pretty much finish inside top 4 and is in FA Cup Final. He played a big part in both achievements.

I hate when Lampard keeps making same mistakes. Reintroducing James into the first team is a mistake. He is no better than Azpi, and a Azpi is not a better left back than Alonso.

Not sure what you mean, those kits are much lighter than City's kit, and you went for cherrypicking. There are other pictures when the kits look basically white.

Short is not white, is the same color as the shirt. It "looks" white because its a real picture, while the shirt is a 3d rendering. Here is a real pic. Much more light than the rendering. Some people won't even notice its not white. I have to admit I always thought the 05/06 away kit was white, I only discovered its a light blue until days ago, after I saw picture of Lampard during a rainy match. Water make cloths look darker. Its much lighter than City's kit.

I must be crazy, because I loved the new home kit, and I loved the funky 3 logo. Its waaaaay better than the hideous Yokohama logo.

I'm still a big fan of my man Abraham. Not sure what happened to his game. First half of the season the dude was on fire. He looked set to become a huge CF. Well, I think we just gave him a free pass because he was scoring goals. He always had problems in his game. For example, Drogba never was prolific goalscorer, but when he wasn't scoring he was always helping the team. Same thing can be said about Giroud (I'm comparing Drogba and Giroud). Abraham is pretty much useless when he doesn't score. Lampard made the right call when he reintroduced Giroud into the first team.

Luiz was by far our best CB. It speaks loud about our lack of quality at the defense.

Did people watch the game? The focus is on the defensive tactics, but today's result is on individual errors. 1-0 and seconds before the end of first half Rudiger concedes a fucking corner in a very clumsy way. 1x1. Rudiger and Christensen acted both as clown on West Ham second and third goals.

Since the old days when we had Terry, Carvalho, Alex and Ivanovic at their peak, our defense has been full of mediocre players. In 2015 and 2017 the team had strong defensive systems, but the players were mediocre. All of them. Luiz, Cahill, Azpilicueta, Alonso and aging Terry. Just look at the quality of defenders we got in recent years: Alonso, Rudiger, Palmieri, Zapacosta and Rudiger. We aint going nowhere.
