  1. Rudiger is a hero. What fans did to him months ago was unfair, but silenced his critics on the pitch. He is UCL winner wearing the blue kit.
  2. He didnt get a new hair cut, but he already looks like a little magician. Tuchel really gave life to Mount, he now looks like a proper player. One of my favorite of the current team, and he is a hard working dude who was playing in championship 2 years ago, he is not a despicable person like Neymar and guys like that who are more concerned in being instagram superstars and in individual prizes than playing football for the club.
  3. Marina is a legend. What she did in past years is 100% out of this world. Its laughable that once in a while some fools make some edgy negative statements about her.
  4. Thats why its important to take a break from some social media once in a while. I'm still enjoying the fina, and still trying to understand what just happened, then I what I find here is people discussing if we closed the gap to Liverpool. LOL Anyway, I'm glad we have a guy like Tuchel as the manager. He accepted the challenge, never complained about lack of quality and instead of trying to prove a point and develop players, he used the best players available. This guy is a hero, and unlike Di Matteo, he knows exactly what is doing. If we had players who could score more often this team would be unbeatable.
  5. Its just an article wrote by salty Lampard's stan. He is angry because Reece is not playing every game, Odoi is always sitting on the bench, and Abraham and Gilmour are not even on the bench. It seems some folks didn't realize yet that we are not here do develop british players. Yeah, I used to believe Mount wasnt even a PL quality player, but I was wrong, he is really good and the only player from "Lampard project" that deserves to start every game. Reece is also another one that has a great future here, and is already starting some really crucial games. Odoi and Abraham are not good enough, and the same can be said about Gilmour, despite the usual overhype he generated months ago. This team is good enough to win things now and right now there no better coach for us than Tuchel, with or without UCL football next season.
  6. Rudiger is a warrior and a winner. He has everything it takes to become a club legend.
  7. I'm starting to like this dude. He's been quite decent lately.
  8. YES! This team deserve UCL football.
  9. Mount is becoming a real player under Tuchel.
  10. Definitely a huge improvement over Lampard. The team now has a clear direction and play with passion and purpose. Even Tuchel body language is different. To other side I can't say I'm a big of this new style. Tuchel is looking more and more Mourinho minus the ego, but right now this team needs results more than anything.
  11. What do you guys think about CHO getting sub after only 30 minutes of football? I never like when a coach subs a player who didn't start the game.
  12. Now we do have a proper coach. 3 months is enough to see the coach's job is going anywhere, and it was clear not the case with the previous job, when the team was playing worse and worse and the season progressed.
  13. Guys, Lampard wont be sacked. Lampard was hired as part of Roman's strategy to look more "british friendly" after his UK vista woes. Its not a coincidence that out of nowhere we started throwing young english players into the first team, even before the transfer ban. Just take a look at how press is covering Chelsea. Since Lampard was hired the press is full of positive bias towards Chelsea, completely opposite from what we were used since Roman bough the club 17 years ago. Nobody is talking about crisis, or Lampard being under pressure. Lampard job is as safe as safe can be.
  14. I was thinking about getting FIFA 21 until there isnt a proper next gen version for PES, but I gave up when I realized James looks terrible on FIFA, and they didn't fix his face in the next gen version. FIFA is a joke, they probably scanned the entire Liverpool squad to release promotional videos for the next gen version, while 90% of the game still has the same terrible faces from previous versions.
  15. Saved by VAR. That penalty would be a crime.
  16. I have to admit that I missed him when Havertz was playing on the midfield. Not only Mount is 100% useless on the wings, but right now he is playing better than Havertz. I'm not saying he is a better footballer than Havertz, but right now he is definitely a better fit for the team than Havertz, if we have to choose between the two, and I think this is the case right now, considering the quality we have elsewhere.
  17. After that horror show against a mediocre United I'm surprised about the teams performance and results in last games. Most important than that: Lampard finally found the ideal defense. No more Kepa shitshow, and the constant changing in the back 4 line.
  18. Hazard being a Real Madrid flop is perfect example why people are wrong when they say Conte was right when the dismissed Diego Costa. When a player lost his form after he leaves a team, moving for another team is usually the main reason why a player lost his previous form. There are many examples around, like Kaka moving to Real Madrid. I'm convinced Hazard still would be the best player in PL if he was still playing for us, the same way I'm convinced our 17/18 season would be much better if Costa was still playing for us that season. Hazard is not Real Madrid kind of player. Their squad is stellar, he is just another guy playing for them. My man is on the verge of becoming the greatest Real Madrid flop ever. I hope in future players learn a lesson, before thinking about living us to Real Madrid.
  19. I'm convinced he will keep his job no matter what happens this season. The days of firing managers after a bad run are dead in the water. Conte was fired because he thought he could enter in a fight with Marina, and that was a losing battle, but he survived during the worst period of 17/18 season. Sarri also had some results that would be enough to fire a manager in the past. Lampard's job is safe, specially because he understand the club's internal politics, he knows he is only the coach and he is not the one making the decisions, and it comes to your second sentence: Lampard didn't bring any new player to the club, he is not the one getting new players. Since ages we know the club gets the players despite what the manager is thinking and they have to work with the squad at his disposal. Lampard himself made it clear more than one time in interviews and press conferences: he is not the one making the decisions, "its up to the club". Thats what makes me concerned: he will keep his job no matter what. At first sight it might be an indication of a club that is thinking about a long term project and is convinced the manager will bring the results at some point in the future, but I'm not convinced the club hired Lampard because they believe he can become a great coach, it seems they were thinking in something else: a living legend like Lampard as the manager makes the fans more patience and less demanding; another thing is, as you said, Lampard is a "rookie", so he knows his place inside the club, he knows Marina is the big boss, he is not in a position to make big demands and enter in a power struggle with Marina. Actually I'm sure Lampard is Marina's biggest fan, because she hired him when he was just a Championship coach with just okay results, she backed him during difficult times and bought the players he said he needed. I'm afraid we might be entering in a Arsenal/Wenger or New York Knicks kind of situation: results don't matter that much, as long as the financial results are looking good.
  20. I see, after reading the other posts you are just here finding excuses to justify "STF" decisions, to the point you have to say Zyech is getting plenty of opportunities, when in reality he is getting 10 or 15 minutes per game.
  21. What's your definition of "plenty of opportunity"?
  22. If you forget the names, there is not a huge difference between this United team and West Brom or "Soton".
