I will wait the next 7 games before reading this kind of article. In football you can go from hero to zero really quickly.
-
This game is a 0-0 one. I would take that result. I dont care about the gap. If we are still on top of the table after Everton game, I don't see us losing the trophy, even if Spurs win all of their remaining games: something that won't happen.

Its a joke that Ibrahimovic is even on the list. 100% joke.
-
I have to admit I missed him when he was out, but I still believe he is a ultra limited player. Yes, in the current state of things with Azpi playing as a CB, Moses is the best man for that position, but as @OhForAGreavsie said in another topic, sometimes its not the player that is crucial. but his role. 3-6-1 system relies heavily on the quality of your wing backs. Moses is actually by a country mile the most limited player of the starting XI. He is not Champions League material.

Terrible game from Alonso, and Conte is really doing some bad decisions in recent games. First was Pedro replacing Moses (when Willian is way more suited to that role), now back to Matic and Kante in a game where the team is set to stay with the ball for most part of the game.
-
Massive result, specially after Spurs managed to to score 3 in 5 final minutes.
-
In my books a terrible move. Okay, Matic is there to make our mid stronger, but Pedro is just TERRIBLE as a wingback. Matic replacing Pedro was the right call.

By this logic you could said one day ago that Crystal palace was a massive game, because "if we lost to Palace, and will face City with 'only' 7 points, then City might beat us, then the gap will be 4 points, then if x happen, and y happen....". Game against City is not more massive than other games. Gap is 7 points, if City win, gap will be 4 points, still a HUGE gap in such competitive run. We are not talking about a game where if City win, City will be one the top of the lague. The goal is not to maintain a 10 point gap, but to be at the top of the table at the end of the league. A 10 point gap means you can get bad results like this one against Palace AND lost to a difficult opponent like City, and still keep a more or less confortable lead.
-
I think he will leave if he screws a 10 point lead.
-
Easily worst performance from Kante this season. Worst player on the pitch.
-
Shocking game from Kante.

Indeed. That design reminds me of this one. Probably my favorite away/3rd kit from Adidas:

Some people say Conte just erased Mourinho's shadow, but every time I read a post like this I get the opposite feeling. At this point I think we know Conte and Mourinho are two different animals. Mourinho is an ultra defensive manager, he likes mind games, he likes to create some strong headlines to newspapers, he has a huge ego. Last game with Mourinho as the manager was back in 2015 (!!!), its not like he was sacked months ago, and its not like Conte just arrived weeks ago.
-
Football is just crazy. Conte is doing so great right now, but in modern football it seems inevitable that one day he will get axed (might be even next season, who kwows? Last two managers to win the PL got axed right in the next season after the trophy). Then, most fans will get angry at the board, probably blame the player for the bad results...untill the next manager with good results arrive, then Conte won't be missed and might even get taunted when he returns to SB as a rival manager.
-
Im glad he scored the winner. That penalty was one of most stupid ones I've ever seen. Have to admit started to like him more after that celebration.
-
I missed that. Priceless.
-
Just to remember that years ago people were worried that English clubs would turn UCL into a rich man's FA Cup. Just embarrassing. Another season, and another mediocre UCL season for PL teams.
-
That camouflage thing is just just terrible, and that kit reminds me of these ones: I was expecting something bold from Nike in the 3rd kit, something like Barcelona or City 3rd kit, but this is just the same old Adidas boring black kit we got in the past 10 years.
-
Top clubs like United and PSG...what do you mean? So, if United and PSG want Player X, so we should also want Player X, even if United is a Europa League side, and PSG is embarrassing at top level? Its also very easy to understand why I said your starting XI is not any better than the current one: all the players you mentioned are U23 players, and this is NOT what this squad needs at moment, introducing FOUR U23 players into the starting team, and we are actually talking about a team that produced 4 mediocre UCL performances in past 4 seasons and was eliminated twice in a row by a not so special PSG team. The team you just posted is more likely to emulate the UCL record of the past seasons than "grow into a true European elite for the next 5 years". Just take a look at the biggest european clubs of past 5 years: Bayern, Barcelona and Real. They all have one thing in common: they went after (or kind of) estabilished stars in top european leagues (Bale, Modric, Suarez, Robben, Lewan, Vidal), in top NT sides (Neymar), or players who had a great performance in a top tournament (James Rodriguez). To other side, all the players you pointed are young players from mid tier european leagues. Perhaps they will be great additions, but definetely not the kind of players you want if you are thinking about getting into a UCL elite. We need more Diego Costas and less Batshuayis.

I'm glad you are not the one behind transfer market, because the team you created isn't any better than the current starting XI. lol In my books Azpi should not be playing as a CB next season. He is doing great this season, but he is not a CB. Alonso is miles better than Moses, and I can see he becoming a better player in the future, while game after game I get more convinced that Moses is ultra limited. I do agree we need someone else in attack and in the mid, but for CL football we should be looking more to an Arturo Vidal or Xabi Alonso kind of signing than getting a bunch of u23 from League 1. The current squad lacks European experience and is more likely to produce a PSG horror show than emulate the heroics of 11/12 season. The core of this squad were part of the past 4 mediocre UCL seasons, and even Hazard is yet to produce a great performance in a big game in Europe, and the reason for that, imo, is the transfer policy after 2012, when it seems the club is only interest in getting u23 players.

To be honest Wenger staying will be beyond pathetic, and will kill Arsenal fans any hope to win something big in next years, since the owners will be sending a big fat message: we don't care about results.
-
I don't think that will be a mistake, actually that will the right thing to do.
-
Ridiculous. That second penalty was pretty pathetic.
-
Arsenal is so embarrassing. Its not even funny anymore. I'm sure if Wenger get axed tomorrow, some stupid pundits will talk bullshit about how modern football is so unfair.
-
3rd kit looks awful.
