I'm really impressed with Conte. In the first games he looked really poor, specially with his late game subs. Some people here were talking nonsense about the squad being incredibly bad and even saying Conte wasnt doing good because he did not get he not so world class players like Koulibaly and Naingolan. While I agree those are good players, they lack of them were not the reason why the teams wasnt performing well. Conte was reluctant to use his favorite 3-6-1 formation, and he decided to give it a try after the humiliation defeat against Arsenal. Even after the first good results I wasnt sure about his qualities, since it seemed he was only using the "formation that won the last game". He was playing the same starting XI over and over, but in recent games I realized he is even better than the first good results with this formation were suggesting. Against City he realized he needed to change thing really quickly, so he dropped Pedro for Willian. That was a game changer move. The team went to win that game, 3-1, with Willian scoring the 2-1. Against Sunderland we had no Hazard. Then instead of just replacing him with Willian, he also moved Fabregas into the starting line up replacing Matic. Without Hazard we lose a lot of creativity and attacking power, so bringing Fabregas would help to fix that hole, while Willian is better than Hazard in helping the defensive system, so Matic's absence would not have a great impact in the teams defensive duties. The team went to win that game with Fabregas goal after a Willian assist. Against Palace, Pedro who was a regular starting player for most part of the season was not even used, instead Fabregas was introduced replacing Willian in the 2nd half, because Conte realized that game was asking for more presence in the midfield, something Fabregas would offer more than Pedro. What about the last game? Everybody were just expecting Batixuai to replace Costa, instead he went with Pedro, who scored 2 of our 3 goals. Still 20 games on the cards, but at this point Conte is looking a hell of a manager.

It pisses me off how the press is biased towards United. I remember in 13/14 when they were really awful under Moyes. At some point in early January, United went 8 points behind the leaders, and Mail was giving us headlines like: "United is only 8 points behind the leaders, what they must do to win the title". ONLY 8 points!! Now United won 4 games in a row and they are even asking Mourinho about the gap between them and top of the league. Thats ridiculous. United is now in 6th position, 4 points outside the top 4 (actually 5 points, since they have a poor GD record). Its just outrageous people even talk about United chasing the leaders at this point, when their main concern is avoid the humiliation of staying out of the top 4 after spending such kind of money on transfers and after getting a manager that has been treated like a God in England.

Pocchetino is putting Conte in his pocket. Spurs is suffocating our defense with high pressure, while when they have the ball we keep giving them space to exchange passes and try long shoots.

Terrible 1st half. Team is lacking intensity.

Moses almost scored. People will talk about that when someone point he stay the whole game in the confort zone (stucked in same are of the pitch) and point the team over reliance on the left side of the attack.

Hazard is in the best form of his career. He is clearly happier than in Mourinho days.

I think Conte is just not a big fan, and according to this forum he is right, since Moses must be the best player of this season so far.

Costa was dead on the pitch and Hazard continued to play, that was embarrassing.
