So because of those two moments, JT is a bad person? Lol.

How many games would those four (bar Meireles and maybe Essien perhaps) even play? Benayoun isn't even replaceable. We never used him. Essien, Meireles and Malouda... I'm pretty sure everyone wanted them out of the club anyway. 2 years ago we let a lot of key players leave without signing true talent. The four mentioned above aren't key players, and we've signed 5 good players this summer. The squad is shaping up well IMO, we've got/getting rid of a lot of dead wood who we can then replace in January/Summer 2013 with quality players who can then impact and improve the squad instead of just providing squad depth.

Hulk moved because Porto needed the money, not because he truly wanted to. It's obvious by his quotes.

Regarding Malouda, we probably didn't have space for an extra foreign player in the squad, so he got omitted. -

Because of HG status. -
Hugo Lloris already unhappy with André Villas-Boas – Didier Deschamps • Goalkeeper 'did not appreciate' Tottenham manager's remarks • Villas-Boas told £12m signing he is not guaranteed No1 spot

Champion's League squad. -
Yeah, that is if you believe all the media bullshit. Do you personally know JT?
-
God, people acting like Zenit are some sort of League 2 side. Ignorance.
-
And Ronaldo isn't? Neymar has waaaaaaaaaaaaay more talent than Adu. The fact that he's the star of the Brazilian team already should tell you he's a big talent. Robinho was nowhere as near hyped up the way Neymar was, but he was still highly rated. Robinho is still a good player. Neymar however is a seriously great talent who has everything to make it at the top. When he moves to Europe we'll all see on a more regular basis.

What I remember Ballack for was his performance against United. Pure class.
-
Not like he chose. None of the English, Spanish or German clubs actually came for him. It was a good offer and it looks like Zenit are building a decent team, so why not?
-
Thinking about it, since we've let Essien and Meireles go we've got 2 more spaces regarding CM. Ballack now and then maybe a CM who will actually improve the first XI and is able to effect the double pivot(if available) in January. Doesn't sound too bad.
-
Hmm. Ballack till the end of the season? I don't know. Someone might just be available in January, the club might be looking at that instead of someone like Ballack. Saying that I wouldn't mind him here at all.
-
Very valid point, but like I said, we can manage without him for a couple of months. If he really doesn't want to stay for at least 4 months then I say let him go.
-
Suddenly, Raul is everyone's love child. If he wants to go now, we'll let him go. It creates space for us to get a more important player in later on. We can manage without him.
-
So you'd rather have Lescott, Toure, Richards, Smalling, Jones, Evans or Rio in your team than JT? Lol. We'll just leave it there.
-
So, Terry wouldn't get into the United CB pairing over Rio, Evans, Smalling or Jones? City's pairing of Lescott, Toure, Richards or whoever? Arsrnal's pairing? Tottenham's pairing? Liverpool? Say something. There's no delusion in that what so ever.

I'd go with something like Kojo's team (apart from Romeu instead of Mikel but we all know Kojo hates Mikel). We need to penetrate QPR, get at them straight from the get go. A front 4/5 of: Torres Hazard Sturridge Moses Ramires - Mikel Cole Terry Luiz/Cahill Ivanovic Cech Should achieve that. I like the dynamism and pace in that team. If we're struggling to keep possession or lack that playmaking perhaps throw Oscar on instead of Rambo.
-
But what about when a player constantly makes daft decisions? Why is it different for certain players and a manager?
-
Just give Ivanovic time guys, he'll be back.
-
I'm kind of glad the majority think Piazon is overrated and that he isn't rated that highly, no ones really expecting big things from him. Keeps the pressure off the kid, allows him to build upon the decent talent he has already.
-
And still the importance of our captain to the defence is continually under appreciated. JT is still our best central defender. We look twice better at the back when he's playing. JT would get into every PL starting line up, without a doubt.
-
Yup, he could really use the next two weeks to rest up. Hope he doesn't have to report to training either.
-
Still have the slightest bit of faith in Kakuta. I think he's good enough to be a squad player at least here, just needs to put his ability together with the right mental attitude. Wish him luck at Vitesse.
