  1. 3. What would exactly constitute a negative contribution?4. Some sort of points system e.g. passing in the final third contributes to the higher end whilst losing it there is less punishable than losing it in a dangerous zone yanks off a greater number of points?
  2. I like this... Something like NBA's PER formula. Very interesting concept. If we could somehow divide the type of players (e.g. having a slightly different formula for defenders, midfielders and forwards) that could be interesting. Would be a very, very complex formula though.
  3. Also heard it's real good. Might pick it up in a while.
  4. Just finished The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and I really like the series so far. If ASOIAF is even better than this (I've actually managed to steer away from the TV series) then I'm really looking forward to it after I finish the current trilogy.
  5. How can he argue with you when you say each and everyone of his arguments are invalid?
  6. I don't know, but the point is nor do you, so you can't really go around claiming that Rooney won't drop his wages and in fact is more likely to increase his wages when no one knows.
  7. Fits what we need - would be our number 2 HG goalkeeper, definitely better than Turnbull... Not worth £10m though.
  8. Brilliant loan, should slot in and hopefully replace Navas? Good luck Marko.
  9. Cahill probably but I actually think JT is still the better defender, he just didn't have a good season. I think JT will be more than useful if he stays fit under JM.
  10. He isn't. He just plays in a system that allows the whole team to defend well thus reducing the exposure their CBs have. That wasn't the case for us last season.
  11. Just have a feeling Italy will win it tbh. They're like that.
  12. Is he starting XI player though? Ask yourself that.
  13. So it isn't that much of a travesty. They need to come back earlier because their competitive season starts earlier. They also have a German super cup game they need to prepare for.
  14. Not necessarily. A talented youth player might leave because they aren't good enough yet to break through to the first team which may hinder their progress. They might still have aspirations to play for Chelsea in the future, and a buy back clause allows that.
  15. The thing with Mikel is that we made him our most defensive player in the midfield. That wouldn't be the case with Oscar. In the pivot he'd be the more offensive player.
  16. Lucky . Just wait for the return match...
  17. Well, according to PSV themselves there is a buy back clause. http://www.psv.nl/Nieuws/Nieuwspagina/PSV-heeft-akkoord-over-Bruma-en-Jozefzoon.htm
  18. Good luck Jeff. Deal comes with a buy back clause so if he does develop nicely we can buy him back at a decent price.
  19. Luiz rarely under performed with us last season, and you can't say that it's the norm for Luiz to perform badly when he was our best defender plenty of times last season. You shouldn't let one bad performance for Brazil (even though he had a great performance just the game before) cloud your judgement like that. "If Luiz carries on" - if he does carry on his form for us last season he'll consolidate himself as one of the best defenders in the world (which he already is in my opinion).
  20. Perfect signing for them. Really needed a good striker and Bony fits the bill.
  21. Lol. Luiz has one bad game at the Confed Cup, completely ignoring that he had a great game just the game before, and we suddenly definitely need a new defender.
  22. I wouldn't be surprised if he went to Real tbh... Ancelotti likes his B2B midfielders.
