  1. Loads of good players going for decent prices, if I was a club like Liverpool I'd be looking to bring in the likes of Sneijder or KPB, especially at the prices they're being quoted at.
  2. No, ESPN has him as 32 official games started (GS) + 5 substitute appearances. Again for the last time, I'm not saying we should sign him, he doesn't suit our squad. All I'm doing is arguing about how I rate him as a player.
  3. According to ESPN, he's started 25 in the league, 6 in the CL, and 1 in the Italian Cup which bring it up to 32 even, which definitely makes him a first team player at Milan. And it's been explained by some on here why he hasn't performed this season, he wasn't being played correctly.
  4. I agree that he lacks the vision to play as a traditional number 10 but he's still got great technique in his shots, first touch and is a decent dribbler. If anything, I'd say his best performances have come when he's played behind Ibra practically as a second striker but he can play elsewhere because of his versatility. I'm not saying he's the perfect player, he has his deficiencies but he's nowhere near as average as you're making him out to be.
  5. Well I completely disagree, especially regarding his shooting. And that isn't true either, he's played in a lot of positions this season. I think he's clocked around 40 appearances at least, starting majority, so I wouldn't say he doesn't often make the Milan starting XI. Each to their own though! Just reiterate ans clarify again, I think he's a cracking player on his day and he's actually one of my favourite players to watch in the Serie A but that doesn't mean I'm advocating we should get him. I'm just voicing my opinion on those saying he doesn't offer much technically or that all he's good at is basically running! He doesn't fit our squad make up.
  6. If you read my previous posts I actually explain there's no need for him in our squad. I'm just arguing against people saying he's just an average player or poor technically. He's not a traditional number 10, certainly wasn't when Zlatan and Robinho were there... He was more of a trequartista there. My point is - you can't just offer stamina or pace if you play in that role. You need to have good technical ability.
  7. I know you don't judge players off YouTube videos but please, you can't tell me that an average player who offers only "stamina and pace" can score goals like these? He's got awesome technique.
  8. Why the hell are people comparing KPB to Ake? What am I missing here? It's like comparing Romeu to Mata. Ridiculous.
  9. I'm laughing at how people think he offers nothing but stamina and pace... He was a beast as a number 10 when he had Ibra and Robinho with him. You don't play number 10 if all you offer is "stamina" and "pace".
  10. KPB is technically weak? I mean he hasn't had the best of seasons last year but to say he's technically weak is something else. On his day he's very clearly one of the best in the Serie A in my opinion. Like I said I don't want him here because we don't need him in our squad but he's world class on his day. I agree he's inconsistent but to say he's just a decent player is massively underrating him.
  11. Around £40m is a fair price... Hopefully we can negotiate it down to that fee. The deal actually seems to be progressing quite well.
  12. Did he sleep with a family member or something?
  13. Honestly, KPB is a cracking player, one of my favourites. We just don't need him. 15m euros would be a steal though.
  14. KPB is average? Wow... He's one of the best players in Serie A.
  15. I can see where you're coming from but Hulk and Schurrle are in a similar mould whilst Jovetic isn't as explosive as either. I mean in my opinion Jovetic is more of a out and out centre forward than both - it is where his best position is at in my opinion. Either that or as a second striker, where we have Mata playing already. Hulk and Schurrle are more used to playing on the flanks. They're both wide players first whereas its the opposite with Jovetic. I'm very sure he sees himself as a striker first and foremost too. That's why I would prefer signing Hulk or Schurrle especially if we get Cavani. It just makes more sense to me if we want a more balanced squad.
  16. There's interest yes, that's very clear, but I doubt it's anywhere near done.
  17. If we're signing Cavani, we don't need Jovetic because I can't see us offloading Ba AND Torres this season. Schurrle signing is completely different to this, don't know why anyone would even say he's our back up signing if Schurrle fails simply because they both bring something completely different to the table. Does anyone genuinely think Jovetic will come here as a squad player in case we don't sign Schurrle? I very much doubt that. He's good enough to lead the lines of most top European clubs and he's nowhere near as direct as Schurrle is.
  18. He's not going IMO. Don't see it happening.
  19. Arsenal are about 6 players away from a decent title challenge IMO. They have a lot of work to do to catch up.
